There has been no response since an order in November 2020. My credit card company 'mastercard' are refusing to pay back due to 'perishable goods' has anyone else had this problem??

Used this website several times in the past and never had issues. During covid I even received my package after a few months of waiting but communication was open. I ordered some stuff in October and found it impossible to get in touch with anyone regarding shipment. Emails are ignored and their phones are disconnected. I filed a claim with my credit card company and the company tried to fight it (I guess they respond to banks and not customers).I then had to provide receipts, reviews from this site and a screenshot of their listing being permanently close on google and I was able to get my refund. It’s really a shame because they have the best prices and shipping to the US is pretty fast and secure normally. I have found a new site and will never shop here again even if they get their stuff together. Their customer service is non existent at this point.

Why is the site open but I don't receive my beers????

Posted 3 reviews on this company I have email confirming bankruptcy From a Clara snelling contact at bottom of all these reviews. I got my money from credit card company just contact you card provider an fill in a on-line form attach emails of your order and order confirmation ..it's pretty easy stuff.

Order placed mid-November 2020. No response to emails. Order moved to processing mid December, but nothing since.

Have now received a refund from my credit card company, but it looks like the web site is back up and running again after being offline for a month. Don't risk using them whatever you do.

Heard good things about this site and ordered at beginning if December. 2mns later after no replies to emails my bank is taking legal action to reclaim my money. Looks my favourite country is turning on us because of brexit. Feel like I might not bother visiting bruges again and spend my money there. Dont order from this site. You will lose your money. Stick with beers if Europe.

They did take money didnt send the order to me.

Used to be very trustworthy but declined extremely when Covid-19 hit. One order in early 2020 took 2 month. One in august was crushed and the last one I ordered 3 month ago doesn't seem to på shipped at all. The webshop seems to be down and the owner doesn't answer emails or the phone either. Looks like they just took my money and left. Discrace!

Looks like they stopped shipping orders but kept allowing people to make them.

I have used BIAB for years, initially they were very very good with quick turn around of orders, however during 2020 COVID struck that slowed order processing right down to an average of 4 weeks from order to delivery which can be accepted given the position the world was in.

My latest order i placed on the 23 Nov 2020 hoping for a xmas delivery, I emailed BIAB for an update on the 10th Dec 2020 where they replied almost straight away where they informed me there was approx a 6 week delay over their order book, so all i could do was wait and face the fact i would not have my order in time for xmas.

Roll 8 weeks, now the 15th Jan 2021 and i still have not received my order and it would seem emails are being ignored and going unanswered, in addition the website is also down for maintenance which mean we cannot login to our accounts etc, therefore i have tried to do a bit of internet searching and i have found one site that appears to be the Belgian equivalent of Companies House, the last document logged on that site is a change of premise which ties in with their Oct 2020 move to a new warehouse nothing else logged afterwords, i have found other sites which do suggest they are BANKRUPT however its a former address but does record the same VAT number so who knows.

During my last email convo with them on the 10th Dec 2020, they did inform me that due to Bojo's Brexit they had stopped taking UK orders that day as they could not send orders to the UK as of the 1st January 2021, in addition to BIAB i have since received a further 6 or 7 emails from various other Belgian beer vendors i use informing me that at the moment they cannot send beer to the UK as a result of BREXIT.

In regards to the BIAB website on maintenance mode not sure if this is a UK directed measure as they cannot fulfil orders or are they still live on the EU side, sitting in the UK im sure we cannot confirm that unless you know someone who lives in the EU to check, i was giving them the benefit of the doubt that COVID, warehouse move and BREXIT may have majorly delayed order from dec to now but im slowly coming to the conclusion that they are no longer trading, which is very very disappointing to myself and many others that have lost money and orders.

Waiting for a refund due to poor service and no show of any shipments. Was told my refunded would be processed within 5-10 days.
Over a month has past and since I've heard rumours that they have gone into administration and are being investigated for embezzlement.

Ordered early December. Check on 15th December showed order being processed for shipment . No beer has arrived. Since then website shows down for maintenance, so can’t claim a refund. I have sent several emails with no response.

Many customers left without beer for Xmas, website down & not answering emails. Yes, the order took a long time to arrive - c. 8 weeks - but this was amid a global pandemic, Brexit and a warehouse move. Perhaps the messaging could have been better but this isn't a big operation and I think some leeway needs to be given.

My order was complete, very good value including postage and gave me the chance to taste beers never usually to be found in the UK. I fully intend to use BIB again and their service, pricing and comms have always been first rate.

The packaging for these valuable, special beers deserves its own mention - hand packed, card tubes/packing chips, totally secure and the best possible protection for your special order.

Order placed November 15th, no product received, no reply to messages asking for information and the website seems to now be in "Maintenance mode". Starting to feel like a con!!

The order was placed 16th of october. Nothing has arrived yet. No answer to emails. Used to work well in the past. I recommend to avoid this company.
