If I was able to leave zero stars I would . We brought a bed frame last week (Friday) , I assembled it yesterday and it doesnt fit right in the room .
I emailed the customer email address for the return details , and I have been advised that as the bed has been built , by law they can refuse a refund for this .
The statement on their website says : Bed SOS has the right to deduct value off any customers returned goods should the item(s) reach us damaged or show signs to suggest that they have been used beyond what is acceptable to decide if you are happy with the goods.
Firstly , it mentions about a deduction , which is not a full out refusal of a refund , secondly is states that this is only applicable if the items if found to be used beyond what is acceptable to decide if you are happy with the goods - setting up a bed does not fall into this category .
The lady who emailed me back about this (I will not name and shame , however I feel I should) , used this example -
This would be the same if you purchased an item of clothing online; then wore it and tried to return it for a full refund. The retailer would not accept the goods back, due to having tags removed and showing signs of being used .
Which is find outrageous , not only that she is trying to compare an item of clothing to a bed frame , but also for the fact that you can still return an item of clothing as long as you still have the tag , it does not need to be on the item . I could go into this point even more , but again I will refrain .
As she says by law they have the right to refuse the refund , I would like to see the particular statement in law which says that they have the right to do this - not only that the return is within the 14 days specified on the website , it also doesnt fall into the category where they can deduct money from the refund . Also it is a complete breach of consumer rights .
As mentioned to the lady , I will be looking to take this matter further , and the bed was purchased via my credit card so I will also be speaking to them to deal with this .

I have not outlined the bed as being used , as mentioned in the email I do not yet have a mattress for this , therefore it has not been slept on .
I will be looking to take matters further via my credit card provider .
Thank you again for your reply . I have since had an email from your colleague who advised I contact the Consumer Helpline on this matter . I have done this and they have advised that I should be entitled to a full refund under Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 . As the items were not purchased in person , a contract has been formed which entitles me to 14 day cooling of period . He also advised that putting the bed up does not count as use . He has also advised that the credit card provider will have not issue in raising this under section 75 of the credit card act . so as mentioned and also outlined in the last email to your colleague I will be doing so .

Great bed for a great price
I came across your website after seeing it on someone’s story on Instagram. I thought the beds looked great for the price. I ordered mine, delivery was 2 days later. I would definitely recommend, great quality, great price and great delivery, I also have extra storage now as I ordered an ottoman bed.

I was a bit weary buying a bed as the ones I've had in past havent lasted very long. I'm a larger lady so wanted sprung slats as they hold weight better. I have to say the bed is beautiful and very sturdy and easy to put together. Had a problem with gas lift as didn't know what to do but 1 email and they talked me through it. Only down side was I never got a notification or phone call to say bed was getting delivered. Luckily I was in but would have been better if I'd have known. Overall a fantastic bed that I'm sure will last for many years. X

I bought a small double bed and mattress for my sons bedroom. Very happy with the product. Easy to assemble (did it myself) in about an hour.

SHOCKING BED
SHOCKING BED. Fix one thing and another problem occurs. Firstly, bed came with wrong part meaning it could not be put together. However this was fixed fairly fast which is the reason for the star. Secondly, after assembling and putting mattress on there was an enormous amount of space either side of the mattress for some bizarre reason. Tired after having the part missing the first time, I just ignored the space issue. Now having had this bed since late June, I can confidently say it’s the worst bed I’ve ever owned. The support legs aren’t long enough the reach the floor without falling out, so they move around and as a result, bend the screw holding them in. Tried wedging stuff underneath, no luck. Tried putting grips on them, no luck. Anytime you touch the bed it squeaks. Can literally brush past it gently and I still hear a squeak. The support beam in the middle and the slacks pop out at any given opportunity. All together the biggest waste of money I’ve ever spent.
P.S the response from bed SOS about the space between the sides is nonsense. I bought a brand new double mattress to go on this bed, not a small double. Don’t insult my intelligence. The bed did not have these problems at the start which is why they didn’t hear from me in June. I have tried to write a review on the bed sos website and can not find anywhere to write one. I understand it’s a manufacturing problem but surely they should test each bed to make sure they’re of good quality.
