Dear Willl,
as some users before found out, you did have to setup wallet password when you created the wallet. Whatever you did use, will work. The error you get is not that your pin is incorrect, but is that your wallet pin AND/OR password is incorrect. YOU HAVE TO USE CORRECT WALLET PASSWORD AND PIN that you used when wallet was created. You could leave one or other empty, maybe you used the same one as for the global pin/password. Take your time and try it out with Verify wallet function.
Giving us one star review because you do not remember what you used for wallet password/pin is not the way to go, as that mistake has nothing to do with us. Device does exactly what it is meant for. Protecting your private keys.
EDIT: Please contact our support team at support@bc-vault.com they will help you out with understanding this. You can only confirm empty password with enter and empty pin with pressing only the middle button on the dPad!
EDIT2: Fantom was NOT compromised. Fantom network migrated to sonic network. This does not relate to you if you did not hold Fantom (FTM) tokens.

BCV is built to last. What I recently discovered is I can convert my coins directly on my cold wallet without moving them off to external exchanges. Less chance for mistakes. Better security. Faster processing and no external exchange fees. Sweet!
Next I'm going to suggest an optional DEBIT card to do my daily purchases while on the go. Good Job BCV. Your Support team ROCKS.

I had purchased a new BC Vault device, my second one. I have was some difficulty during the initial setup. I emailed customer service, and they were able to resovle the issue very promptly. It took a couple of tries, but I followed their recommendations and all is good. My first device has worked for four years without a flaw.

Great service great product
BC Vault don't just provide a cold storage solution, they also have a supportive help desk with fast turnaround when you need answers. Just like any software when it fails its always comes back to user error which was the case for me when I didn't set up my wallet correctly. With the helpdesk service I was able to sort out the problem quickly. An easy fix actually. When I reviewed their instructions after this was sorted I realized just how easy it is to use this wallet - you just need to follow the instructions. I have several BC Vaults.

This is a fake review from a non buyer (source Organic), Trustpilot reported.
As you can see almost all our reviews are marked as invite from actual sales that includes actual sales reference number. There are no paid reviews and never were.
We can't address the issue of you forgetting the correct credentials. This has been extensively explained.

There is only one feeling better than owning one BCVault its owning two! Having that back up is an awesome and secure feeling knowing they have my back for all my tech questions with there product! Got the silver limited edition one, I really like the decals and quote on it adds a little extra vigor to it! Thank you BCVault!

Because the cold wallet was shipped to me incorrectly and I had to pay an additional customs fee, BC Vault contacted me by email after reading my review. After I had sent them the documents for the fee, they refunded the customs fee to me. Thank you very much. My experience with the company is that they care about their customers. That's why I gave five stars again.

I got the same thing that originally came in the box
I reordered the USB cord that originally came, but I received the same USB cord that originally came in the box. However that was my fault. I need a proper connection to my MacBook Pro but the provided connection doesn’t work. I didn’t see any other options. For now I will try to use another cord I have on hand that I obtained from Ledger. Otherwise I haven’t had a problem.

we sell only one kind of cord which is USB Type C (that goes to BC Vault) to "regular" USB plug that goes to the computer. If you needed a USB C to USB C cable we do offer additional adapter for that or (as you wrote) you can use any USB C-USB C cable too.
