Incorrect battery sent with no returns accepted

Called company and provided make, model and year for the vehicle the battery was needed for. The lady was nice and provided me with the battery information and the price then placed the order. Order arrived and it was the wrong battery. Receipt still had correct make and model of vehicle. Called company and they stated they have never carried that battery and would not have told me they did. They would not take the battery back. Now I am stuck with a battery that I cant use and they will not take responsibility.

I wouldn’t give it a single star

I wouldn’t give it a single star, I don’t even think this is a legitimate battery company, this is a webpage collection orders and batteries are shipped from different parts of the country.
I received the wrong batteries, tried to solve the problem, gotten nowhere (of course consumer’s fault). I had to shipped them back at my cost $14.50 when the batteries were actually shipped from a warehouse in my city Woburn MA ; I could walk there but the lady at the CC wouldn’t let me, plus she also changed me an additional 20% restocking fee; this is what happens when you don’t pay attention to previous reviews before doing business with company
I also reported to Walmart because I ordered through Walmart
When I called the CC line, the lady with bunch of kids noises in the background, didn’t give a dam.

Dan,

Actually the truth is that we have 10 emails conversation in which you explain how you used this UPS battery for Trolling motor.

Your battery failed because it was used for inappropriate application and that was explained clearly to you.

After more than 10 years as a customer, three strikes and your out.

I have placed orders with Batterysharks for over 10 years. There have been a few instances of having to have the batteries replaced under warranty but overall it has been a good experience. I will even go so far as to say that over the last couple of years their customer service had improved. Unfortunately, that all changed last year. In March I ordered replacement batteries for my wheelchair. I received a pair of the sigmas tek batteries. I installed them in the chair and they seemed to work well. However, the batteries began failing after only 5 months. I contacted them and the replaced them under warranty after I sent them the picture of the load test. I again received sigmas tek batteries. I installed them and this set lasted about 3 months. I again contacted them about the failure. This time the experience was not as pleasant. Initially they tried to tell me that they only replaced the batteries once under warranty. I argued that as long as it was within the warranty period, they should honor the warranty regardless of the number of times. This time I received a lecture on proper battery charging. Unfortunately I have had to use a chair for almost 20 years and am very familiar with the charging procedure and even use a smart charger to avoid overcharging. Then they requested a picture of the date codes on the batteries as well as the load test. It actually felt like they were questioning my honesty. I did eventually get another set of replacement sigmas teks. Now here we are not even 6 months later and this set has failed. We are just outside the original warranty period, even though it has taken three sets of batteries to get through a single year. In my opinion, they have either gotten some bad batteries, the batteries are not designed for wheelchair use, or they are just an inferior battery. Based on this experience and the fact that there are other suppliers who meet or beat Batterysharks pricing with shipping, I don't think I will be ordering my replacements from Batterysharks.

I ordered my batteries for my wheelchair Aug. 3rd 2019. Kept them for back-up batteries, I installed them in my Chair 2 weeks ago and my chair kept dying on me out and about several times stranding me. I put a Load teaster on them and both batteries were Dead registering in the red on the tester. Ive heard good things about Battery Sharks. But this disappointed me severly. I need a full refund Including Shipping. As I have just spent another 150.00 on New batters. Please resolve this issue quickly as possible I have the batteries and Im ready for further Instructions. Thank you,
Silas Webster

Definitely a company to do business with....

My experience with this seller was excellent. I ordered a battery for my Yamaha Midnight Venture from them because they were the best value for my dollar. I expected to wait the usual 7 - 9 business days which is pretty much standard these days. I placed the order on the 13th and was pleasantly surprised when the battery arrived on the 16th. Great products, great prices, speedy shipping, what more could you ask for !!

These people have had my money for 2 weeks and my batteries haven't even reached the carrier. This is not fast shipping. Forget calling them, no one answers their phone. I do not recommend, more trouble than paying a few dollars more.

Am I the one unlucky customer?

I believe they also own electricscooterparts.com as my receipt came from them also. After needing batteries that were destroyed in transit resent to me. Now the inner tube I bought failed at 12psi. Unless I am the one unlucky customer.

Hello Jerry,

We do not have any connection with the company you stated. We also do not sell any other items apart from batteries, so there isn't a way in which you could have received an inner tube from us.

We have sent you a replacement for the damaged order and I hope this arrived in a suitable condition.

If there are any further issues with our company, we will be happy to assist you accordingly, you can contact us at 800-657-1303 or email us at order@batterysharks.com

Have a good day!

Low capacity 12 V replacement UPS Batteries!

Low capacity 12 V replacement UPS Batteries!
I bought 2 12V UPS replacement batteries for a King UPS. Thought all was good, but during a power outage they lasted only 5 minutes whereas the original King UPS batteries usually lasted 30 minutes. Obviously they have lower capacity than the originals. Next time I will spend more money and get better batteries.

Bought a replacement battery for my…

Bought a replacement battery for my Back-Ups unit, and it shorted the unit out. No load was on the unit, as I was giving it a 12 hour window to condition the battery with a proper initial charge. The battery was in a box of styrofoam peanuts, laying at the bottom of the box. So I'm positive that the battery got a few good drops on it. I am very disappointed. Had the battery been packaged right, I'm sure I would no be having to contact them to refund my money, and contacting my attorney to help prepare for their refusal to replace my back-ups unit.

What a joke of a company

What a joke of a company, I bought a battery from them and the battery was dead on arrival. Took way to long to charge and won’t keep a charge. I contacted them and they have given me the run around from the moment I sent the first email. Then I received this. “New message from: batterysharks* Top Rated Seller(22,350YellowShooting Star)
Hello Tyrone,

We are sorry to hear that.

The battery is warranted for 6 months. Could you please test the battery with voltage meter and send us a picture of the voltage readings?

Thank you.

Best regards,

Anthony

Battery Sharks eBay Customer Service Team” all they had to do was send me a return label and return me a good working battery! They love to play games when it’s not cool at all. Why not test the batteries before sending them out?

Hello Tyrone,

The very reason to request these pictures are to avoid unnecessary shipping back a supposedly bad battery.Instead of sending the battery back and wasting time and resources to do so , we simply require an email with a picture as a proof and then we can send you replacement.

All this is stated in our warranty policy to which you agree before purchasing.

Let me know if we can do anything to amend this.
