I ordered 2 batteries

I ordered 2 batteries . The were advertised as fully charged .One is completely dead , the other one will not take a charge past 4%. After I told them that , they advised me to charge them and then send photos of the readings. I would gladly return them , if I could . Still waiting for a response. Never again .

Hello, we are sorry to hear that. For our warranty procedure we need pictures of the voltage readings of each battery when you test them with a voltage meter. Please email them with the order number to order@batterysharks.com. Thank you for your time.

Here is the deal on trackling numbers and the post office

Ok, I'm just a customer here, but I also do a lot of shipping through the post office. I read the reviews, and I see a recurring theme... People claim they are given a tracking number, and it takes days for the post office to "receive" it. the post office is lying. Here is the issue with small businesses shipping through the post office. If you buy postage from the post office, they track from the moment that you drop off. The problem is the postage costs MUCH more AND you have to wait in line for an hour. ALSO, if you buy your postage on-line to save a LOT of money on postage, you get to skip the line too... But if you pay on-line the local post office WILL NOT SCAN your package. It takes a minute to scan each package, and of you pay online, the local post office does not get credit for the sale, and they do not get money in their budget to hire more staff. So the local post office does not scan your packages in at all, it is their option. If they don't scan you in, your package is stipped to a regional sort center, where unscanned packages are detected, and sent to the scan facility where someone must manually enter all of the address info. Tha package has beenm scanned 20 times by now, but it has not been received so those scans don't count, it isn't officially scanned until the addresses are manually entered into the computer and then scanned. At any point up to the receive scan, if your package is lost, it was never at the post office as far as the post office is concerned. Once the package is receive-scanned (4 days after drop off) it will show up as freshly dropped off. If you don't believe me, go read the seller forums on Amazon or Ebay. The post office is AWFUL for small business shippers. Only large shippers have leverage to solve this problem.

21 days to arrive!!

I made an order on 11/15/21 order#687392 and tracking#9405 5169 0145 9096 101168.. after a week and half waiting for my motorcycle battery (11/26/21) I decided to contact them via chat, I got ahold to a John who told me that for some reason some one from the warehouse did not complete my order so my battery never went to the post office? so he told me that he can re-enter my order with same tracking# to be pick up the next business day since it was a Friday after 4pm and told me that will get in my end in 4 to 5 business days max? well it took another 10 days to arrive and hopefully is full charge and not
damage since I have not open the box yet since I'm at work. My point is that I did not got an apology, a partial or full refund or at least to be sent it to me via overnight. Bottom line, it took 21 days to get my battery, this is unacceptable, I hope the owner read this review and contact me and make something to keep me as a satisfied customer for a long term.

I just had a really crappy experience…

I just had a really crappy experience calling customer service to ask about a battery and as a result decided to research these guys a little more closely. And look what I find. Everyone says their customer service stinks. I have to chime in and agree. Imagine the amount of business they would get if virtually every call to customer service was not a primal scream to go somewhere else...

Called customer service to verify they actually have the battery I need in stock since it doesn’t show they sell it on their website but Amazon says they do. The guy refused to check saying if it’s on Amazon we have it with an angry voice. Even though it would save me $200 buying 3 batteries from them I will not give them my business. Other similar reviews solidified my decision to shop elsewhere.

Jason,

We will be sure to address the issue.

The Amazon part , however is true. The fact that the listing is up and running on Amazon automatically means that the battery is in stock for sure , there is no option for it to be out of stock if the listing is active.

Thank you!

It seems to be a recurring theme that if you call Battery Sharks on the phone you get treated like crap. Had a simple question and it nearly turned into an argument because I called to ask instead of using the website. Sorry to be a pain in your ass to call for an answer. Maybe you should delete the phone number. It would be better not to have one than what you provide.

So USPS messes up every single order? I don't think so.

So, all of these reviews say that they never received their item. Then they say it is USPS's fault and that they wouldn't admit they were ever at fault. I ship thousands of items a month with USPS, and I've had maybe 7 issues after 5 years in business. But you are telling me almost every order USPS makes a mistake? This is there fault and they just want to make themselves look good, all of the responses are poorly written and accusatory which speaks to how they do business. I never received my item, and I don't think I ever will. Do not buy from this company and do not believe their responses. It is surprising that they haven't been sued or shut down.

EDIT:

I work for a pretty large business and was one of the founding members when it first started 15 years ago. 15 years ago, USPS never once made a single "mistake" there were delayed packages maybe once a year or two but only around the holidays, but it still made it in the estimated delivery time every time. The only time their were mistakes were when we made an input or logistics error.

Now we ship out thousands of orders from warehouses all over the United States every single week and USPS still has made almost zero mistakes.

In almost every reply to every review on here you blame USPS or the customer for why they didn't receive their order. There is absolutely zero way that is possible.

It seems as though you guys just delay orders as long as you can, or don't really care if a label goes on the wrong package or if your customer isn't satisfied. It seems like the only thing you care about is that anyone reading these reviews thinks it's not your fault so they will still put money in your pockets. The problem with companies like that is that they don't understand that customers that are happy buy again, and tell their friends and write good reviews. Which are all the best and cheapest forms of advertising.

Also work on the grammar. (:

Thank you for addressing the issue.Your particular order is not "every single order" but yes , unfortunately some times issues with label scanning happen. We should not generalize every single USPS store out there as we should not generalize all the orders. We have warehouses all over the US and we do not have problems with every single USPS hub but yet we do experience problems with some.In our 12 year history as a company we have never had a customer left without a product or their refund in case they do not receive that product for some reason. You will fall under the same category for sure.

Bought computer back up batteries June…

Bought computer back up batteries June 5th. Received notice Monday label created no tracking number. Wednesday sent an email did you ship this? Yes we did post office doesn’t always scan. Ok Thursday night received usps notice package was received at local post office. Wrote to company why 4 days from label creation to post office and I want to speak to a manager. Below is their answer.
Sir,

As I explained we have a lot of delayed packages in that area and we already checked with the guys at the warehouse, they confirmed everything was shipped out on time, but usps did not scan the packages right away. That is the truth, believe it or not.

They come everyday at our warehouse, so we have no reason what so ever to not give them the packages..

Delays are very common with USPS and everybody knows that.

Best Regards,

Anthony | Battery Sharks

Be wary of the low price and false claim

They claimed that they had the replacement batteries for my Xantrex power source 1800, specifically replacements for Enersys NPX-80 12V, 17AH. So I purchased what they recommended because they had the lowest price on Ebay. The batteries were not the correct replacement batteries at all! They told me to bend the vertical lugs so I could use them as the horizonal lugs that I needed. That would not work because I would not be able to attach the large wire connectors to the battery. I had to pay $24 to ship them back.

We are sorry to hear that, but we did not know that you needed the batteries with different terminals, which we do not carry. As explained in the description and shown on the picture the batteries are with NB terminals, so if you did not double checked on that before placing the order we had no way of knowing they will not work for you. Thank you for your time.

BUYER BEWARE

BUYER BEWARE: Their website has issues and their customer service sucks. I ordered one battery and expected a confirmation page and email to follow my order neither happened until a day later. By then I had ordered another battery which was confirmed. When they shipped me two batteries I was told to by their CSR to refuse delivery of the 2nd battery and return to UPS. After several emails and phone calls over a 4 week period they still had not refunded my money for the 2nd battery. I sent them an email stating I was disputing the 2nd battery charges and all of the sudden they responded refunding only the price of the battery not the shipping costs. Luckily my credit card company stood by me and returned their refund and credited my account the full amount.

Never buy from these guys. Cheap cost more

I bought a battery on line from these guys, they emailed me saying it was delivered to my mail box on the street with 8 others since we live on a cul de sac. kept on checking for few days, asked the neighbors, no one has it. Contacted them to report the problem and told em I checked with all our neighbors, now they want me to contact the ups and try to go track it. This is not my job and im not willing to do it... these guys suck, with the worst customer service. Never buy from them again.

Wow... Great experience!

Wow! I have had a great experience with Batterysharks. I looked around for the UPS batteries I needed and Batterysharks had the best price. I purchased the batteries and two hours later I received an email saying my batteries are ready to ship and shortly after I received a tracking number. I check the tracking later that night and couldn't believe my eyes when it said the batteries would be delivered the next day... wow!
The as stated in the tracking the batteries were delivered and are correct.
Great experience!

Ordered a battery on 11/7/202

Ordered a battery on 11/7/202.

Received "Order Shipped" on 11/9/202.

Received email from "Shopper Approved" on 11/10/2020 wanting to know if I received my battery from BatterySharks.com

(WTH, you sent it, you have tracking info which you didn't send to me BTW, and you don't even know if I received it? What kind of Mickey Mouse operation are you running?)

Called BatgterySharks.com Customer Service on 11/11/202, asking where is battery. They claim it has been shipped but that the local post office isn't updating tracking information at all. BATTERY SHARKS SENT ME THE TRACKING NUMBER ONLY BECAUSE I INSISTED AND AS EXPECTED, IT JUST SHOWS A TRACKING NUMBER GENERATED WITH ABSOLUTELY NOTHING BEING CONSIGNED TO USPS.

FOR WHAT IT IS WORTH: I called the local Postmaster at the specified shipping location (BRIDGEVIEW, IL 60455 ), and they emphatically deny this claim by BatterySharks. No item has been consigned to USPS!

BOTTOM LINE: BatterySharks.com is a SHLOCK COMPANY who obviously is playing the DROP SHIPPING game, meaning that they don't own anything or ship anything, they just push information around in cyberspace, and expect other companies to fulfill the order and pay them a commission for the referral.

Their address is a P.O. Box at a UPS store in Henderson, Nevada. NOT EVEN AN ACTUAL BUSINESS LOCATION!!! No warehouse, no inventory, nothing legitimate. Boy did we get suckered in by this con!

DO NOT BUY FROM BATTERYSHARKS.COM ! THEY LIE AND GIVE YOU BOGUS TRACKING NUMBERS FOR PACKAGES WHICH ARE NEVER CONSIGNED TO THE SHIPPER AND THEN BLAME OTHERS FOR WHY THE BATTERY HASN'T SHIPPED OR UPDATED TRACKING INFORMATION.

HOW COMPLETELY UNETHICAL!
---------------------

UPDATE 11/14/202

BatterySharks.com responded today. Again, they deny anything and everything. The Postmaster stated plainly that any package which uses a USPS tracking number, is SCANNED upon consignment to the USPS. PERIOD. That scan updates every evening. If there is no scan, there is no package consigned to the USPS. I believe the USPS.

Now BatterySharks.com claims that they own 5 distribution centers! Where? We searched for over an hour on the internet, and the only addresses for this company is a PO Box in Henderson, NV and an address in NYC which shows no signage or contact information.

Legitimate businesses don't hide!

Of absolute note is that at no point in my dealings with them yesterday, or with their "response" today, did they take responsibility for an order which has been paid for, but not shipped, no valid tracking info, no idea whatsoever of when I can expect to receive the product, nothing...

If this doesn't say all that you need to know about this company, then you haven't been paying attention!

——————————-

UPDATE: 11/18/2020

9 days since this battery supposedly shipped from IL and nothing but a bogus tracking number. Never consigned to USPS.

BatterySharks are LIARS!!!

Still no communication about my battery I paid for and still haven’t received.

UPDATE: November 27,2020

PayPal ruled in my favor and refunded my money in full on 11/19/2020.

BatterySharks never followed up, never contacted me, never made any effort to rectify the situation. They did NOTHING.

Bought a battery from another supplier and it arrived 3 days later with no issues at all.

Hello,

We have 5 different distribution centers spread from the East coast to Nevada.Business operating for 9 years now which have nothing to do with drop shipping.

All the company records are available for the public and at one Google search distance. We highly encourage a simple background check before throwing accusations out in the air.

I don't see what exactly do you expect to hear from the USPS.Perhaps you expect them to admit their mistake but unfortunately they will not.

Let us get in touch with them and you will see a result.

Horrible Experience

Horrible Experience! Bogus Tracking Number provided. Called and was told there is no tracking number. 2 weeks and still no battery. Customer service is rude and worthless. Had to contest the charges to get my money back.

And now you ask to help yet again? Your help has been worthless. Multiple emails from Adam that got me nowhere. I shared all the details and he just kept asking how he could help. I gave up on him and called this morning. I talked to someone there and it also got me nowhere. Nobody could give me a tracking number for something I paid for 9 days ago. I have no idea where the battery is, or whether or not it was ever shipped. I need to get my bike back on the road, so I am purchasing a battery locally and will refuse the shipment and demand a full refund. If you don't process the refund, PayPal and American Express will protect me.

Not a good experience. I received the wrong battery. They say I ordered the wrong one. They said they would send the original order and haven't. I have to pay to return the battery for reimbursement.

Not a good experience. I received the wrong battery. They claim I ordered the incorrect one. I called the customer service number on the packing slip and the line took me directly to music from the movie, Grease. No indication I was on the correct line. I listened to random music for about 5 minutes still not being sure I had dialed the correct number. When a representative came on the line, I was rudely informed that I had ordered the wrong battery and that I have to pay for return shipping to receive a refund. I know I ordered the correct battery. I can't find an original confirmation email and so I asked for proof that I ordered the wrong item. They said they would send it to me but they haven't. Never again Batterysharks.com!
