I bought a suckling pig. It was packed very well, arrived on time via DPD, and was absolutely delicious. Anyone who loves meat should, in my opinion, try a suckling pig: it is a breeze to cook in a standard domestic oven, and really not much more expensive that, say, a really good sirloin of proper grass fed beef that would feed as many people. Little Pedro will not be my last piglet!

Great service start to finish, plus an amazing quality piece of meat delivered which everyone was very pleased with.

Knowing I can rely on the quality of the cheese that I order means everything. Doesn't matter how good your prices are, how great the ordering and delivery are, unless the the produce is worth it.
Basco are at the top :- Ordering, price,delivery but best of all FLAVOUR !

Tried to place an order whilst an offer was in place but the website would not check out. Messaged customer service three times. Still waiting for a reply 3 days on. Offer now expired. I will now buy elsewhere.

The delivery company let the meat go off. It took 2 months to get a compensation voucher from Basco. Then when we used it they sent us the wrong thing (probably on purpose) and said they couldn't refund anything because a voucher was used. Also every time the delivery company leave the box outside without ringing the bell.

Excellent delivery with chilled packs. Great choice of Spanish products.

I ordered 6kg+ of Galician Rib and Rubia Gallega. Delivery was great, I had reason to call the office and customer service was good.

The quality of the meat is below average unfortunately. Galician steaks due to the
Age are not as tender as others but these were both very tough which is not ideal.

If you are looking to recapture the taste you have enjoyed at a top steak house or in Spain it will not be with these cuts and not compensated by the typical depth of flavour..

In fairness, whilst £50 for 1kg isn’t cheap, it is significantly less than other providers who sell 45 dry aged for almost double (however that is without bone).

As always you get what you pay for.

The product (Morcilla) is excellent. It was well priced. Arrived exactly when they said it would, packed so it was still very cold.
Brilliant service all round. Would, and have, recommended it to everyone.

If you are like me then you need to get to know the amazing products Basco stock! You will only ever find the most amazing unique products here. To mention a few- Carabineros Prawns, whole or pieces of suckling pig, milk fed lamb, iberico meat and charcuterie, Gordal olives, whole octopus or just the tentacles, bomba rice, Galician beef, kitchenware, wine, cheese, beer etc etc. If you love quality at a very fair price, a quick delivery and the best customer service, then look no further!!!!

every thing a bought lived up to my expectations . The Olives are fabulous!

I've ordered a few things from Basco recently (piquillo peppers, txakolina wine, morcilla, with some Basque cider on its way) and the products have always been spot-on. My only very minor issues are: the amount of packaging (it could be a bit more environmentally friendly); and courier (DPD) delays on a couple of deliveries, which made me worry about perishable items (morcilla), although they always seemed to arrive OK in the end

I have been ordering from BASCO for a few years now, every thing they sell is top notch and makes you feel like you are eating in Spain.

Appalling. Offered to send out a frozen steak instead. Had planned for a large dinner tomorrow night and thanks to Basco i have had to cancel. This was my first ever order. Such a shame as the produce looks incredible. If any of it is actually is in stock and available…..

Terrific quality and superb range. Thoughtfully packed and speedy delivery. Altogether a really excellent service from website browsing to the plate!

Took advantage of the BBQ offer and did not disappoint. The ribs were fantastic and their service was excellent.

Family BBQ Ruined!
Ordered ribs from Basco with Express delivery for Friday. Called Friday to say there was a problem, but promised express delivery Saturday morning in order to still make timeline. Here we are Saturday noon, no delivery (seems like non-express delivery used), and now needing to scramble to recreate a menu for a family BBQ due to the double failure from this supplier (whose helpline is also closed).

Recent purchase fraught with issues:
- Delivery service missed the delivery window by several hours resulting in defrosted product.
- Free gift as an incentive for spending £150+ not included in the delivery.
- After confirming that this would be rectified over the phone, I received neither the partial refund for defrosted product, or the voucher to compensate for the lack of the gift until I followed up twice via email.
Really interesting and great products available on this website, but I’ve completely lost faith in their delivery and aftercare should things go wrong. Not the sort of service you’d expect from a website that offers such premium products, and honestly, not worth the risk and time involved in rectifying issues.

Delivered tiger prawns instead of Carbionero prawns a difference of about 90 pounds on price!
Ask for a credit when I realise opening the box from the freezer a few weeks later ( my cleaner put the box in the freezer) and they refer to the T&C's arguing I did not complain within 24 h
Disgusting

Having eaten in Cafe Andaluz in Glasgow recently, I was impressed not only with my overall experience, but in particular with the quality of their chorizo. By far the best i have ever tasted, such a change from the rubbery supermarket offering.Not expecting to ever find out the source of this product, I asked the restaurant owner who was happy to share. I have since ordered from Basco and what a difference this has made to my one tray oven bake, and my caldo verde soup.
