Scam company. Will not refund or exchange. The email they provide for a refund is fake. Will not respond via phone either.

I emailed them a few times now. The emails bounce back. My calls go to a recorded message advising me to email them. I've used the contact form on their website, no response. They give no address for returns and there is no way to reach an agent. I ordered large, as was suggested by others. They are still too small and the insole of the clog is like hard, flat cardboard. Some people might be able to wear these but I will not. I have since received a response since I wrote this complaint, and am awaiting the solution for my return.

Inquired about a return. Company responded with options but then must have blocked me since all my follow-up emails were returned. Tried using the webpage contact form but no one responded. Tried their phone number but it only advised to email them. So I'm stuck with a pair of boots I don't want I guess.

I purchased a pair of shoes about 4 weeks ago. The package took long to arrive and when it did the shoes does not fit. I have called their number and all it says is no one is available to take your call at this time. It then directs you to an email address which does not work. Every time I send an email it bounces back and ive tried like 6 times. They are the worst not to mention the quality of the product it looks nothing like what's shown on the website I'd really like to return your product and get my money back. The sizing is wrong I ordered one size up from my shoe size and the shoe still doesn't fit comfortably. In your packaging you should provide customers with return information. Customers shouldn't be hunting you down and with no success at that. I wouldn't recommend anyone make a purchase from you ever.

Do not buy from these crooks!!! They don’t have a return policy. They won’t return an email and they don’t answer the phone. What you get is yours whether you like it or not. You have 30 days to return but they make sure you don’t hear from them in those 30 days on how to do it.

I purchased a pair of shoes as a Christmas gift. I contacted Bareroots right away to let them know I needed to return the shoes. They send me an email on January 4 saying I could pay to return them or get a credit. I have not been able to reply to their email since it is invalid and I have not been able to call them since their phone number reaches someone’s residence. I question if this is a legitimate company.

DO NOT BUY FROM this company!!! I bought a pair of boots, they came in a tote bag without return/exchange info, they didn’t look like the photo from the online store, and they were not my size and definitely width; they were like a child’s size and I wear a women’s size 10. I tried emailing and calling without any luck on how to return the boots. I bought thru Pay Pal and have now filed a claim dispute with them. I’m also going to reach out to Chase bank. Now that this has happened, I’ve read reviews about this company and they are all the issues I just mentioned with some saying it’s a scam company.

I had 2 separate orders, one I wanted to return part of, the second was the full order of sneakers, for which I couldn’t get past the smell, all of them the fit was/sizing was off, the insoles very hard, not comfortable, packing was horrible. Customer service worse, say they’ll respond in 24hours, I’m still waiting..
I received a response from Bareroots customer service, the options for returns are to return items to China at your cost, which is astronomical, or, take a store credit at 75%. This company has an LLC in USA, and items are shipped to us from a warehouse in Illinois. To me, return to China is unacceptable, a store credit for items that I wouldn’t want, nor would I want to do business from this company ever again, also not an option. The CEO touts a 19% return rate, which speaks to the ridiculous return policy, deterring the customer for acting further. Buyer beware.

Bought a pair of espadrilles. Worn them for about 8 hours in total. My foot is already starting to lean to the outside as the soles are made from rubbish material. No support at all. These shoes are absolute rubbish Chinese made shoes. For $70 in Australia, you get a decent pair of shoes. These shoes are nothing more than the $12 pair from Temu.

When I called customer service I couldn't get service of any kind

No valid contact after sale - no valid phone nor email
Bad quality and wrong product shipping

My order came with wrong size, and I cannot find them to ask for exchange or return.
Emails bouncing back and provided phone saying invalid number

I ordered boots. They took quite a while to arrive but that's ok. Tried them on and they are WAY too small. Can't even put my foot in and forget ever trying to zip them up. Leg portion is made for a stick. Wanted to return but their email doesn't work. No one answers the phone and you can't leave a message. Now I have an expensive pair of useless boots.

I ordered a pair of boots. I tried to email them and it gets kicked back as email is bad. I've tried calling and of course you can't speak to someone. I have tried their contact form and no one responses. When you have a return you need their approval to return yet you can not reach them. I have stopped payment and will never deal with them again. Let's see if this gets their attention

I paid $42 AUD and never received my sandals - after many many emails still no shoes and now no communication nor any refund - so so upsetting and such terrible service :(

My shoes do not fit. I have emailed many times for a return and the email bounces back. The ‘contact us’ page on their site they do not answer. I have even called them from Australia and you can only leave a message

I think these people are crooks. There is no working email for returns . They list one, but it does not work. I strongly advise anyone not to buy from them.

Edited this morning - you can see they replied to my review to email them - I did for the 10th time and it bounced again! ABSOLUTE SCAMMERS!!! DISGRACEFUL

I’d go no stars if that was an option!
They sent me the wrong item. Every email I have sent has bounced saying the email address is not operating.
I have used their “contact” form also and not heard anything!
Do not buy through this company as they are IMPOSSIBLE to contact!

Ordered the shoes, received them and they are too small. Emails returned undeliverable and the phone number has a lovely lady saying they do not take calls. There doesn't seem to be a way to correct this order and I will be forced to handle this issue with my bank. Too bad, they seem like nice shoes.

This is ABSOLUTELY THE WORST company, DO NOT USE THEM. You won't ever get a live body to get a return authorization, they are SCAMMERS and should be shut down. Their email is not functional, you'll get a error message. This company is a SCAM!!
