I was disappointed with my experience with BareRoots Footwear. I ordered a pair of shoes that ended up being too small. When I requested an exchange, I was offered only a 75% store credit and told to keep the shoes. I followed up within 48 hours to request a full refund instead, but I never received a response.

The lack of communication and limited flexibility around returns was frustrating. While the product itself may work for others, my experience with customer service did not meet expectations.

I hope the company improves its responsiveness and return process.

I liked the price and the free shipping. So I choose to order on this sight as opposed to another.

I ordered a pair of boots from this site, but the experience has been a nightmare. The boots arrived in the wrong color and have a severe, foul chemical odor that makes them unwearable.
​Worse than the product is the 'support.' I’ve tried calling the listed 833 857-0951 number multiple times; it rings 5 times and then automatically disconnects. My emails have gone completely ignored. At this point, I am being forced to contact my bank for a chargeback. Save your money and shop elsewhere

First, the shoes online are NOT what I received. They are cheap as cheap can get. Second, I tried reaching out (twice) to NO avail.
Do NOT purchase from this company. They don't back their products & the website states they will get back within 24hrs, NOT so. Very disappointing.

I’m excited to receive my slip on winter boots. I’ve tried several pairs already; sent them all back because they weren’t big enough.
I was disappointed with the 10% initial discount.

It was simple and easy to purchase online.

I ordered 2 pairs of boots. It took them about 1 month to arrive. One pair is completely different from the advertised photo. I have emailed and called the company with the provided information on their website. The phone tells you to email them and hangs up. I have emailed over 5 times. Every time the email bounces and says this email address doesn't accept incoming emails. But I sure do receive a lot of emails for sales coming from that address. So essentially there is no way I can contact the company to return the boots. Horrible and highway robbery in my opinion. I will not be supporting this business any longer and should be reported as a scam.

Order shoes for partner he has uk size 15 feet. They are far too small so requested a refund. The options were to get half the money back and keep shoes but you get charged £25 admin fee or get full refund with £25 admin fee and postage costs.
Contacted customer services they agreed to refund full amount and this had been confirmed, so my money would be in my paying account within 7 days.
10 days later still no refund. Contacted customer services to be told by same person that there was a mistake and due to buying shoes during the January offer I was not entitled to a refund and not offered another pair of shoes. I am now £70 out of pocket and with no product. Customer services are now ignoring all of my emails.

AVOID COMPANY AT ALL COSTS customer service is shocking and shoes look cheap

I haven't shopped. With this company long , but I'm waiting for a pair to come any day. And just order a new pair. I love them in the picture
I love the looks of the shoes, can't wait to get them I fell I have been waiting a little long.I would like to see shipping a little faster

I have tried several times to contact their return department but my email always says the address isn’t valid!!! The shoes i bought were very poor quality and the wrong colour! I hope they read my review and contact me! especially when you only have 30 days in which to return you items! very poor customer service!

The website was easy to use, and the checkout went smoothly.

I like the boots I ordered, but they are too small. I've tried contacting the company through email, phone call, and their web site contact page. NOTHING. No response, not even a "hey, we received your inquiry" after submitting my message via their own system. The three emails I've sent have bounced back, and the phone number always says they can't take calls right now, with no way to leave a message. WTH? This company seemed legit, but I wish I'd read the reviews first.

I was looking for a unique style for my wife. I found not only 1 but several for her. I purchased 2 for Christmas. Now i am back to get some.for my daughter.

Can I give 0 stars??? Charged twice, wrong shoe sent, blocked my e-mails! DO NOT USE!!!!!!

False Advertising - Product Does Not Match Photos (Avoid!)
I am incredibly disappointed with my purchase. The product delivered is clearly different from the photo on your website. The leather quality on the upper, lower, and interior is completely different, and the sole material is not what was advertised. Furthermore, the Ariat logo prominently featured above the heel in your product screenshot is totally absent on the boots I received.
This is a clear case of false advertising and misrepresentation. I was expecting a full refund, including return shipping, which the denied. So, I am be posting this across all consumer review platforms to warn others, as I have no desire to purchase from Bareroots again.

They don't accept returns. Forget accepting, the email they have on their website does not work. The email with your order says reply to this email, but that email address also does not work.

placed in December. The wrong shoe size was sent to me, and I contacted your company in mid-December to report the issue and request a return or exchange. I received no response at that time.

Since January, I have followed up five times over the past four weeks, and the only response I’ve received is automated messaging indicating that my inquiry was received. Now, your company’s email address is returning messages as undeliverable, leaving me with no way to resolve this matter.

I paid nearly $80 for these shoes, and I have made every reasonable effort to return them and receive a refund. This level of non-communication is extremely frustrating and unacceptable from a consumer standpoint, especially after repeated attempts to resolve the issue professionally.

Please respond to this message immediately and provide clear instructions on how to return the shoes and receive my refund. If I do not receive a response promptly, I will be forced to pursue further action through my payment provider and consumer protection channels.

I expect a resolution without further delay.
