Shipping cost ridiculous

It took about a month to receive and I am not at all pleased with the tripled cost of shipping. I will be researching for chemicals elsewhere to purchase all because of the cost of shipping.

Order came and all is good

Order came and all is good. I would have given 5 stars but it took 2 weeks to get here. I realize I ordered on a holiday but last time it arrived in 2 days.

do not expect to hear back from customer support

deep disappointment with the recent installation and subsequent performance of the exterior cabinet after not being provided with any guidance on suitable installation locations. within just two weeks of installation, and even before the onset of summer weather, the exterior cabinet siding melted and warped significantly. this has compromised the insulation, as the cabinet is no longer flush, allowing air to flow underneath and creating spaces where animals can nest. instead of a centerpiece, the appearance of the hot tub is now severely detracting from the aesthetic of recently designed backyard, turning it into an eyesore. despite spending a considerable amount of money on this product, it is lacking in quality and durability. it took over six months of follow-up before the warranty claim was denied by the company, indicating the level of commitment to customer satisfaction. employees working with you leave the company, and you get no response to repeated emails or voicemails to their customer support address and phone number. additionally, “low” chlorine levels indicated by the test strips are effectively zero, relying on assurances that ozone is sanitizing the water. expect very high electrical usage no matter what salesperson says (monthly bill doubled)

Warranty service is non existent

Company makes a nice hot tub but beware if anything under warranty goes wrong. In less than 3 years of ownership we have had the ozonator go bad twice. First time took a herculean effort to finally get them to respond and honor the warranty and fix the problem. Second time I attempted to contact for a second failure for a month and a half and they never responded to either phone calls or emails. Maybe they went out of business but their website is still up and running. Finally went out and got a reputable company to replace and repair the item at a cost of over 800 dollars paid for by me. Never use this company, eventually you will get screwed. If I could give them a zero star rating I would have done so but beware of this company they don't care about the customer.

I contacted barefoot spa about the…

I contacted barefoot spa about the shell that is cracking. I got Ebony who almost immediately started yelling at me telling me I didn't understand the warranty, that they actually don't cover the shell for 7 years it has to come to you cracked. I tried to explain that this was a manufacturing defect because it was cracked all the way around the jacuzzi, not just one spot. She puts me on hold only to come back repeating that I think I understand the warranty but I do not. I ask ro be transferred to another representative and she tells me she is the only person in the building, she then hangs up on me. Terrible customer service, they do not stand by what their warranty states and them yell at you when you read to them their own warranty. Ebony is the worst customer service representative I have ever talked to. Buyer beware and if you happen to talk with an Ebony at this company know that she will start raising her voice then call you stupid then proceed to yell at you and hang up when she can't answer your questions.

Mixed review

I loved how quickly my order came this time so thank you for that. I was VERY disappointed when I opened my box to find it was packed with styrofoam peanuts!! I would’ve thought you were more environmentally conscious.

Barefoot Spas...A Joke!

Do yourself a favor and don't purchase a Barefoot Spa. We've had ours for just over 1 year. We've been trying to get help with a bad pump since the first part of August, while our spa was still under warranty. We finally had someone get back to us today, stating they had bad news and that the warranty would not be honored. They stated we reach out too late. Here are some things that you should know. The sales staff told us there was a full 1 year warranty. The truth is that they will not answer the phone. Then Brock French reached out to us on Facebook and said he would have someone call us the next day. That didn't happen either. Some time later we were told to send in a video, which we did. Several weeks later, someone finally answered the phone and said that the original customer service rep that I had been working with was no longer with the company. She also stated they had lots of staff turnover. Now, we play the waiting game again and are told that the pump won't be covered because we were a few days out of warranty. That is simply not true.

In a nutshell, the product was misrepresented at the sales level. They do not stand behind their warranty.

Do yourself a favor and buy a reputable brand with a storefront.

I truly wished I had done better research!.

Circulating pump runs continuously..

Recently bought a hot tub during a local promotion. Hot tub was delivered with in the time frame I was promised the tub. Once the tub was sit up a circulating pump runs continuously. When I called customer support I was giving the run around for two days. Finally I was told that pump runs continuously so it keeps the water a lot cleaner. That way you save money on chemicals. I have had more than one hot tub and this is the first one that I have seen this feature and I could not find anything in the manual to show this happens. The trade off is a saving on chemical to pay for higher electric bill?

Horrible Company with Horrible Employees and Management

Richard was our salesman ….. great liar and a complete jerk once his money has been made …. He sold us a blemish model , 12 grand out the door , and never mentioned to us once it was a flawed tub. Great deal! Yeah RIght ! When I called him wondering why a repair man was at my house this morning and why I wasn’t notified he was coming after 2 weeks of the run around and no responses he claimed it wasn’t his job to tell me . When I asked him why we weren’t told it was a blemish model or shown the flaws he claimed again not his job or his problem….. He was rude and took no accountability. The sales manager Jason Haas was kind but did nothing to rectify the situation. We were basically told suck it up and no returns when he bothered to respond at all . He did promise us a new cover to replace the one he sent with a broken zipper … but apparently he isn’t allowed to do that and we did not receive one .This company is the most unprofessional business I’ve ever had to deal with . At this point I am not even really sure what their “jobs” really are . I pray that when we actually get it hooked up and ready to run there are no problems as just getting small issues taken care of has been a nightmare! They are out for money and that is all . Be prepared to be lied to , disrespected, and ultimately stuck with something you hope never has any issues . Professionalism and Customer Service are non existent . I think the whole staff needs to have a meeting and discuss what their “jobs” are because apparently none of them have any ! …… Keep the link to the review they basically make you do giving them 5 stars before you walk out the door available because I am 100% convinced you will be making changes shortly after you receive your purchase !

Terrible customer service

I have been trying for weeks to get support to purchase replacement parts and the customer service has been no help. I will gladly pay for the parts, however, no one responds. You would be a fool to purchase a Barefoot Spa. i SENT THE FIRST REQUEST BACK ON 8/12/2024 AND YOU WOULD THINK THAT i WOULD HAVE HEARD BY NOW

Called Barefoot Spa Co hoping to get some help with a rusting grab bar and the headrests that the color has come off of. The spa is 18 months old, and cost 10K. Barefoot let me know that niether of the problems we have are covered under any kind of warranty. I find it shocking that this company builds hot tubs with a material that is part of the INTERIOR of the tub that they know will rust?? They recommended I get some CLR... Or, of course, I could purchase replacement parts from them.

we bought our hot tub in 2020

we bought our hot tub in 2020. a ml77. for some reason, i could not find any paperwork or manuals at my house. I called customer service and spoke to Ashley, who was great. i had questions, regarding the manuals, the drain connect(which mine does not have), and refill process. Yes, we've done it all before, but it is not a regular routine.

ashley wasn't sure about the drain plug and had to ask someone else. She called back within two hours and left a voice with the info then sent an email with covering the same info with a pdf of the manual.
Thank you Ashley!
