I’ve had a really frustrating experience with Baofeng and their returns process. Communication has been extremely poor — they only reply once per day, which makes resolving anything painfully slow.

I’m currently trying to return an order (39476) because the product I received isn’t the correct model (it doesn’t have GPS as expected). Despite this, they’re saying they will deduct money from my refund and require me to pay for the return shipping label.

This feels unreasonable given the issue is with the product not matching expectations. Overall, the lack of support and added costs have made this a stressful experience.

I would strongly advise caution when purchasing. If you’re looking for Baofeng products, make sure you’re using their official website (the one ending in .com) to avoid situations like this.

Bought a pair of baofeng DM32's arrived in 9 days i think it was good packaging and great radios os software wasnt bad to get to grips with good transaction.

All what I know is that before I made my purchase I was hesitant and apprehensive of the brand and the online purchase and now afterwards I am most certainly going to be a return customer.

Baofeng UK were professionals and Baofeng China 🇨🇳 expertly package my product that humbled me for even doubting their excellence.

Moving forward all I will be returning for future business industrial and domestic.

worst kind of dropshipping. Ordered programming cable from what I thought was an English store. The goods are shipped from Hong Kong and now a month later they have not arrived. In addition, customer service is non-existent and their chat is never manned. So warning for Baofeng UK

Very disappointed with my experience ordering from Baofeng.

It has now been a month since I placed my order, and I still have not received the product. For the past two weeks, I have been emailing almost daily asking for a proper update. The only responses I’ve received are generic apologies saying “sorry for the inconvenience” — with no actual information about where my order is or when it will arrive.

There has been no accountability, and no meaningful communication. Repeated apologies without providing a solution or explanation are simply not acceptable customer service.

At this stage, I expect either a confirmed delivery date with full tracking details or a full refund. I hope Baofeng responds to this review with something more substantial than another generic apology.

Disgraceful company. Avoid at all costs. U.K. web address but based in Hong Kong China. Sent out faulty goods. Asking me to send £15 for them to send me a replacement. Then want me to return the faulty item at a cost to myself. So I’m stuck. I’m furious as now I’m left with a faulty radio that won’t turn on. One email a day contact with them so sorting anything is a waste of money. £40 wasted.

I have discovered you can buy this on Amazon to I suggest people use this covering themselves better if they get a faulty item.

I ordered a Baofengradio UV-5RIII radio labelled as a tri-band. It says: Frequency Range: 136-174/220-260Mhz/400-520MHz on the back and it even comes with a 220-260Mhz antenna. But there are only the (dual band) 136-174/400-520MHz frequencies available. The device does not allow you to manually select any of the 220-260Mhz frequencies. I wasted 6 hours connecting it with the UV-5RIII version of CHIRP software (which they recommended in order to change it) but that still doesn't support it! I've emailed them with the order number as they requested but they just sent me a link to buy another one! Grhhhhh.

I purchased some UV5R radios and I was blown away with the quality of them. I found that they could live up to their claim of long range and have achieved 15 miles hilltop to Hilltop with my family. I recommend them because they have other functions such as FM radio rechargeable removable batteries, program port ability support microphone or earphone and a LED light that helps when camping also it can quickly grab a broadcasting walkie-talkie nearby and this makes it easy to get onto PMR. I definitely recommend these to everybody who’s looking for something very very good that you would imagine cost much much more well done

Ordered a radio setup needed for weekend discovered they also ship from China so wouldn't arrive on time I emailed to cancel but was rudly emailed back it had been shipped and was to late to cancel ive contacted royal mail using the tracking details provided was informed after 2 days it was still with seller 4 days later no radio poor communication not happy its supposed to be on 48hr post errrrŕrrrrrrrr.

The website is easy to navigate, secure and well designed. I was able to find the best radio for my needs and ordering was a breeze. My radio arrived within a week and was excellent. It is easy to use and to program.
