After searching for a GADA explorer type watch, looking the prs and others on YT and elsewhere I chose the Baltany, with wine dial colourway.What a good decision I made.Every positive review aspect has been delivered and more.the packaging and contents are very good, making it a great gift exlerience, The removal of all the protective stickers to reveal an really good finish to all components especially made it feel personal. The sizing tools ensuring the fit is perfect.

This is my 4th Baltany and I like em all, but this one I think eclipses the others for finish and overall attractiveness… it’s a very nice watch which looks better in person than on the piccies. With the same NH38 movement as in my 38mm discoverer, I’m sure it will prove as reliable and accurate.
So a new favourite!
The only thing that could be Improved would be to swap the black strap for a dark brown… to come close to matching the lume… (and the Swiss alternative!)

Very happy with the watch. It's feels very premium and looks fantastic. The strap looks and feels good - certainly good enough given the price. The pictures on the website are big and clear and was delivered when expected. Overall really pleased and can recommend.

I purchased two watches from Baltany UK. One watch is if excellent quality but sadly the other one developed a fault after just two days. The watch needed to be returned for repair. From this moment on, customer service has frankly been dreadful. No one monitors online chat....ever!!!! It also takes days and multiple emails for anyone to respond. When they do respond, they provide hollow promises. The watches are of excellent quality for the price so it is such a shame that for me anyway, the customer service means I will not purchase from them again.

The watch arrived promptly and when I opened the box I was immediately delighted to find a beautiful quality automatic watch fit for a king. I have taken great pride in wearing it regularly. I have collection of many British designers automatics. And this fits in perfectly with my collection. I would highly recommend this British design of watches to anyone who loves quality and great design.

I absolutely love watches and have amassed quite a collection over the years. I recently had my eye on a Rolex Explorer 36mm and joined a waiting list at my local authorised dealer, only to be told that it would take around 18 months before I could be eligible to purchase the watch at the princely sum of £6300. I have never owned a 36mm diameter watch before, so I have no idea whether or not I will enjoy wearing it long-term. Long story short, I started doing some online research and came across the Baltany Discoverer 36mm, a homage piece to the aforementioned Rolex. I also found lots of good reviews for the Baltany Discoverer 36 and decided to pull the trigger. My original idea was to buy the watch and wear it so I could get an idea of how I would feel wearing a 36mm watch, before deciding to spend 30 times as much on the real thing! The watch took about a week to arrive and I unboxed it with anticipation. Inside the simple grey cardboard box is a beautifully made faux leather pouch containing the watch. It also comes with the relevant tools for resizing the bracelet, as well as a warranty card, instructions, and a cleaning cloth. The pouch is nicely made and very useful for when travelling. As for the watch itself, it is absolutely stunning. The workmanship and finish lend a very high-end feel to the watch, utilising 316L stainless steel, a sapphire crystal and applied indices on the watch face, giving it a premium look. As for the 36mm size, the watch sits perfectly on my 6.75-inch wrist after removing three links, and it does not look small at all. I have had so many compliments on the watch. I am truly amazed that a piece of this quality can be sold at such a ridiculously low price. I even tested the accuracy of the Seiko NH38 movement and it runs at -3s per day. That's within Chronometer spec! I cannot rate this watch highly enough and despite a couple of very slight niggles (the bracelet clasp sits a little high and the crown has a very slight angle on it, I am very happy with my purchase. In fact, I don't think I'll bother purchasing the Rolex and just wear this instead.
