Very happy with the purchase

I received Samsung galaxy a53 in excellent condition. I really appreciate it. It feels like new. I got this as a gift for my mum. The product arrived on time as mentioned and the packaging was also very safe.

I’m extremely disappointed with my…

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at Back Market.
The first iPhone 14 Pro I ordered arrived with an “unknown” battery and display. After just one week, the screen went completely black and stopped working. I had to return it and, after a lot of back and forth, finally received my refund - but this left me without a phone for almost a month.
I then ordered another phone. This time, the wrong model was delivered (no eSIM slot, which was already frustrating, though I tried to overlook it). Unfortunately, the screen was defective again, showing rainbow effects whenever I used the inner camera.
Now I’ll have to send this second phone back as well. Back Market won’t refund me for the two screen protectors I had to buy and waste during this process, and it adds to the frustration of the whole experience.
This has been exhausting and disappointing. I’ve bought refurbished phones before and never had these issues, but after this I will never order from Back Market again. Next time, I’ll buy directly from Apple.

It’s disappointing to see them respond to their own errors

It’s disappointing to see them respond below way to their own error.....

1. Receive a refund equal to 10% of the price of the item. Unfortunately, we are unable to adjust this amount due to our current pricing structure.
2. Return the item for exchange. Please note this solution takes longer and the seller may not have the item in stock.
3. Receive a full refund after returning the item.

The watch arrived on time, however…

The watch arrived on time, for which I was grateful. It was in perfect condition and I am very happy with it, even though I’ve had it for nearly a year now.

For this, they deserve five stars.

The product also arrived with a watchband, which I did not order, nor did I desire.

The inability to send my old watch in for processing and the inability to contact anyone here in Australia is the reason they lose a star.

Their American website provides services to reduce landfill, but not our own Australian website. I would see that changed.

Warning! Do buy from Black Market

Warning, DO NOT BUY FROM Black Market Phones! They are con artist.
Buy from a either Apple or Samsung approved agents.
Ive lost a total of $585 to Black market. And spent $375 on repairs to still have an unusable phone that wont hold internet connection.
I stupidly paid $100 for Apple genuine parts. The non Apple screen broke first day. Still don't know how it was inside a case with temper glass screen protector. Protector was undamaged.
The 100% battery health (That sold me on the phone when choosing) dropped to 83% by day 3.
So I took it to my respected and trustworthy phone repair shop. After a very negative frustratingly slow experience with their customer service.
My phone repair man showed me how Black Market had doggied up the battery coil, or something like that to make it look like its had 100% health when it was in fact very old and heavily used.
I saw this for myself when he ran a program that showed the battery age and usage.
I still cant use it on WiFi as it wont hold connection.
Black Market said I had to have my modem check first as it cant be tbe phone. Guess what? Modem and NBN service is perfect. Its the phone!
Customer service is absolute crap.
The phones are made to look good on the outside thats it. Massive con job. And over priced.
I could’ve bought a brand-new Apple iPhone 13 for the same money spent so far. Im not sending it in for repair again. Saving for a new phone or from a approved reputable agent. The phone now sits draw. While I use a cheap arse phone from the post office that craps all over the reconditioned iPhone 12.
P.S Same goes for OZ Mobile. They sent two phones with blown speakers and micro phones. But at least they had fast and good customer service, paid for return postage and refunded the phones.
Black market, however are completely different. I strongly advise you to look elsewhere.
