Why buy new when you can purchase…

Why buy new when you can purchase quality phones and tablets from Back Market. The iPad I bought was in better condition than expected. I’m very impressed and will make more purchases in the future from this company.

Bought a Samsung S7 a few months ago

Bought a Samsung S7 a few months ago. The phone had not been cleaned from the previous owner's numbers and settings. The phone worked ok for calls, then suddenly it stopped receiving and sending calls. Tried everything to get it going but had to give up. Lasted all of three months. Buyer beware.

Paid for Express Shipping, Still Waiting

I am extremely frustrated with this experience. I urgently needed the phone because my current one isn’t working, and being without a phone has caused me numerous issues. I paid extra for express shipping to avoid these problems, yet here I am, six days later, still without my phone. This delay is unacceptable, especially after paying for expedited delivery, and it has caused significant inconvenience.

"I had a terrible experience buying…

"I had a terrible experience buying from this site. The phone I received had a defective battery that doesn’t hold a charge at all, making it unusable. As a single mom, it took a lot of careful budgeting to afford this phone, but unfortunately, this company caused me significant financial harm. When I contacted their support to resolve the issue, they refused to take any responsibility—not only did they fail to send a replacement phone, but they also wouldn’t cover the return shipping costs. Now, I’m forced to save up for months again to be able to buy a new phone. This experience has had a very negative impact on me, and I strongly advise everyone to avoid buying from this site; poor customer service and a lack of commitment to customers are major issues with this company."

iPhone 12 Pro

Battery life is great , phone in fantastic condition as i chose the phone to be in "excellent condition" happy with my purchase for a 2nd hand phone . Tracked where my phone was at all times during delivery so this gives you some reassurance and guidance to arrival time.

Very faulty iPhone 11, no way to return item

Purchased an iPhone 11 through Back Market and Lohas Mobile Pty Ltd supposedly in 'Excellent' condition. The display was very clearly faulty. They clearly do NOT check the quality. It was also a third party non-genuine part they installed. Tried to return the item, no option to return. Constant emails back and forth to company, still no option to return. I had to submit a 'Cancel Order' just to get something going even though the item is faulty, not because I changed my mind. Submitted claim through PayPal. Back Market said they denied the refund. Absolutely terrible service. DO NOT TAKE THE RISK.

Okay, but no way to effectively communicate!

I had to upgrade my iPhone from international SE2 & chose an SE3, as I like the phone's physical size. I needed to check with the seller about compatibility but when I tried I found that none of the communication channels let you actually ask a question. They only allow you to use FAQ's in pre loaded templates. That was very worrying as if anything does go wrong, there's no one there. Luckily the phone's good and is performing well. So, while I didn't feel supported, the item is as described and postal tracking was very good. The phone was not in a box, but was wrapped okay.

Faulty iPhone SE from Backmarket

I bought a refurbished iPhone SE from Backmarket in September 2024. After a few days, the camera stopped working, and when I took it into Apple, they said that it was a 3rd party screen, and that it would cost hundreds to repair. When I started the returns process with Backmarket, they said that it wasn't covered as it was a few days out of the 30 day returns period. This is a breach of the ACCC laws in Australia, so I will be disputing this, but I would highly advise against purchasing from them.

Brought iPhone 12 Pro max September 2024
It heats up so much that you can’t hold it,also has trouble with touch screen not opening apps or back arrow not functioning correctly
They suggested turning off apps and adjust display light. Done that still the same. No response back.phone was sold by cellmate W.A ,Buyers be aware phones are obviously not checked and you can expect backmarket not to honour their 30 day money back or replacement guarantee

"Good Condition"

I've ordered 3 phones from backmarket all in "good" condition after the past 2 years... They've all been great! The most recent was 2 months ago.
Battery's all work well, screens in good condition, working cameras.

I was very pleased with my purchase

I was very pleased with my purchase. The phone looked like it was brand new. So clean. It arrived within a couple of days from ordering and I was able to track it. Very happy thank you Back Market.
