The battery isn’t that strong for a premium offer or price

Used Backmarket for the first time. Ordered a gold garmin in “excellent” condition. A bright pink garmin with a significant scratch across the screen has just arrived. Have ordered a return label. REALLY disappointing. Feels like quality control of third party sellers isn’t working

I have ordered 4 iPhones from Back Market and absolutely all of them have been fantastic. I’ve ordered a iPhone X, 12, 12 Pro Max and a 15 Pro Max and all of them have been ordered in “fair” condition, but they’ve all been brilliant. They’ve had minimal scratches on the screen and back, practically invisible in 99% of lighting conditions. All battery health has also been at least 85%, brilliant for their cheapest quality option.
Their delivery has always been on point, arriving within 2-3 days for no extra delivery fee, with constant updates via email.
Finally, I haven’t had any need for customer support but their regular updates make me feel supported and give me peace of mind thanks to their 30 day moneyback guarantee and the 1 year warranty.
I very rarely write reviews but I seriously cannot fault Back Market for anything, and would seriously recommend them for a purchase in my opinion. Based on my experience, I would not be able to understand why anyone would pay full price for a brand new phone other than 100% battery health.

Excellent, from start to finish. The phone arrived quickly in its original box and was in fantastic condition, it might as well have been brand new. My mum had previously bought a phone from BackMarket and had a similarly positive experience, which is why I chose to order mine from them too. Her phone, and experience, was also positive. Hers, like mine, arrived quickly and in pristine condition, and it even came with a screen protector already fitted. The battery, display, camera and overall condition have all been excellent. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy from this company again.

Absolute failure all round, have used Back Market many times previously always, always great. This time however, unbelievably poor customer service via their in app chat service, scripted replies at best, no ownership, like none. Passing everything back to the customer to chase, escalate, beg, for a resolution. It’s been a week of constant back and forth, no phone received, money taken, no customer focused solutions to help, I will be taking this further. I think it’s appalling to treat any customer this way in 2026. Purchase was made through Best4Tech UK.

I needed a Lap top for our bridge club electronic scoring, I chose a Lenovo lap top that has reflected the condition claimed, ( I went for good ) it runs windows 11 required for Scorebridge and has performed very well. Our budget was circa £200 as this unit will really only run one session a week. Found the process of selecting what to buy was good and the logistics were excellent, the packing of the laptop excellent.

The phone broke within warranty and they did not take responsibility when the refurbishers broke my phone in trying to fix it. I was offered a refund not a second replacement or repair and they refused to be flexible or accept responsibility in any way and left me to pay the price.

I bought an iPhone 13 mini with supposed new battery. Two months later and the device no longer recognises the battery. Dodgy!

Purchased 2 phones after having to return the first one for marks all over a premium device. Second one turned up with marks on it. I specifically phoned to ask for better packaging and they didn’t bother after saying they would. Lost charge pretty quick and got red hot when charging. Not exactly a premium device is it. Wouldn’t even give it 1 star! Absolutely abysmal service!
