I cannot recommend enough!!

I bought my wonderful used car from AWB Motors in Hyde around 5 weeks ago. I dealt with James in the showroom upon my test drive whom was nothing but honest, helpful and welcoming when we arrived to when we left. I left very happy with my car that was purchased at a very reasonable price. There was a small issue that arose with the vehicle upon getting home (a few hour journey away) that I highlighted with James and then in turn Callum at AWB Motors in Hyde. Callum took the reins and was again so very helpful throughout the process of rectifying the issue of which the company did fully, with no expense spared and no expense to me. i cant recommend AWB Motors in Hyde enough, James and Callum and the vehicle have been great! I will 100% return again for an competitively priced, well cared for used vehicle in the future. thank you again!

Absolutely fabulous!

I purchased my Peugeot 3008 from AWB Motors, Dukinfield and what can I say? Other than what an absolutely fabulous experience from start to finish!
I met Andy who shown me round the vehicle on their forecourt and informed me of every detail. I felt at ease knowing I was purchasing a vehicle to a high standard which made me take the plunge.
When I came to collect the car I dealt with Cameron, who was extremely efficient with handing over the vehicle to me. Nothing was too much trouble when I had a few questions that I needed clarifying. I was a bit nervous driving the car away not knowing where everything was, but he shown me through all the gadgets and gizmos and help me setup my Bluetooth for my phone.
All in all, I recommend AWB Motors to everyone and anyone!

Absolutely Shocking!!!!

Collected car it started making a noise before id even got home. Awb advised us to take to our local garage, who said they could hear the noise but didnt want to attempt something which he thought would be a big job. So we took the car back 30 miles to be told they couldn't hear it and monitor. Before we made it home again, the engine warning light came on in red and said engine repair needed, followed by a 2nd warning for Adblue emissions fault. We stopped immediately and called the garage who advised us to bring it back. We said we were not happy driving the car over 30 miles with warning lights on, so they collected it and drove it themselves with the warning lights on. They said our mechanic doesn't know what he's doing and the repair will only take 10 minutes, how did they know this when they didn't know there was a fault? In my opinion they knowingly sell cars with faults. We rejected the vehicle under consumer rights and tried to cancel the road tax, but i could not as AWB motors had not sent the new keeper registration document back almost 2 weeks later. So therefore i was never the registered owner of the vehicle, which is illegal. They keep hold of documentation so they can resell with the same amount of owners even when there have been several keepers It took almost 2 weeks for the refund and AWB advertised my car for sale the day after collecting the vehicle without my refund. They state 1 person has owned and driven this vehicle, which is lies!!!! Google reviews of AWB motors before you buy on other websites because reviews on their page are 5* which is absolute rubbish. There are loads with same fault as mine and 1 of them is probably my car that i was never actually the owner of. Please stay away as ive lost over £500 and got nothing to show!

Reply from AWB Motors

Dear Mrs Riley,

We appreciate hearing your feedback and can only apologise that you wasn't satisfied with the service provided.

We understand that there was an immediate fault that revealed itself and can understand your frustration. I would like to mention that under no circumstance would we knowingly sell a car with a fault.

The engine management light you mention was an amber one, and the ad blue emissions light was related to the same fault. We sent out our senior technician to the car who assessed if it was OK to drive and only did so once doing this.

As per your rights we accepted the rejection of the car. Due to the small timeframe of you owning the car, it made sense to not send the V5 off in your name and await the return of it for you to give us back. As this would only have delayed the finalisation of the rejection. You would be able to claim any loss of road tax back from the DVLA with a letter sent to them. I would be happy to assist in any way I can with this.

The reason for the delay in the refund was because you could not provide us with the correct card details corresponding to the receipt upon purchasing the vehicle. We did however report this to our card machine provider who escalated this and provided a refund as soon as possible.

I do apologise that we were not able to meet your expectations and we do appreciate the feedback. We will do our best to implement this in future business.

Bought a Nissan Juke from AWB about 2…

Bought a Nissan Juke from AWB about 2 to 3 years ago, everything was OK at first but within a year I had nothing but trouble with it, to the point now that I now have to buy another car, which I can't really afford to do but have to in order to get to work. Within the first 6 months the car was creaking loudly over speed bumps, so had to have CV joints fixed. I've had steering issues, wishbone issues for ages. The most recent one was the front wishbone snapping whilst driving it, just lucky my children weren't in the car. The front wheel was pretty much sideways and I lost all steering. Our mechanic has had a look at almost everything on the underside of the car is rusting away. Absolute joke. Wish I never used them. My advice to anybody is, don't use them unless you want like throwing money down the drain.

Absolute shambles AWB

Absolute shambles AWB, purchased a car which had a 6000 pound price tag, after agreement to buy they stated the car had not been checked over yet but it will go through the garage and any issues fixed, ALL LIES, within a 9 month period of having the car it had been back into their garage a total of 15 times! This includes issues for seat belts, door handles not working, our bumper randomly fell off after they had taken it of to repair a led light, the battery died after 2 months which we had to pay to replace, they then drained our battery 6 months later, they broke our windscreen and tried to lie about it and said that the glass in the car was from a mechanics gloves, the car always sounded the same from the first day we got it, turns out the track rod ends were extremely worn, suspension was ruined and the car was a major danger! All confirmed by another garage that this couldn’t of happened over the period we had it, with this being said the car had been into awb 13 times prior and they said it was perfect, nothing wrong, either the mechanics aren’t exactly mechanics or they just don’t care about what their customers drive around in considering we have 3 kids and stressed at them we needed a safe car from the beginning, the mechanics were so rude I assume because we kept having to bring the car back, wouldn’t of had to if the car was safe to drive in the first place, which multiple garages confirmed it was not! We had a courtesy car which wasn’t any better! The wipers would set of going over bumps, car would slide round corners, and it sounded horrible, the only good part I can take from all of this was when we was looking for the car on the website, after that we was just lied to and treated with a lack of respect, I got told I was being rude for explaining all the faults and explaining how fed up I was of bringing the car in, which you would be after the 3rd time of going back in 9 months never mind 15, especially when they never actually fix the issue, can’t go through motor ombudsman as they don’t allow it, they never provide any paper work for work done on the car even though they say they will, I assume this is because they never did anything! this car caused so much stress, anxiety and depression for my partner, at one point they refused to speak to myself as I was not the owner of the car but my partner couldn’t deal with it anymore and they would just fob her of because she felt like she couldn’t speak to them. I have to say the owner is a great talker, he told us everything would be fine the first time we went in and no matter what they would be there to help, but then after we got the car it was not his problem, it was down to the garage to fix, didn’t want to know us, even though he was the one who said he wouldn’t allow us to drive a dangerous car or one that had any issues because it looks bad on him, yet he really didn’t care. Anyway something positive has come from this, we went to the carshop (carpeople) who were more than helpful they shown us everything with the car, explained how they had fixed any previous issues the cost and reassured us how if anything breaks no matter how many times they will fix it because they won’t allow their customers to drive around in an unsafe car, they gave us a great price and couldn’t of been more helpful! Save yourself the hassle, take a 5 minute drive away from AWB to carpeople for the best service!

Amazing customer service

RAC were making things extremely difficult for me to claim on my warranty for work which needed carried out. Contacted Dan from AWB motors customer service based in Ashby and Dan sorted this out for me in no time at all. Dan managed to get a solution to the issue within 3 hours of working on this. Customer service was exceptional, would not hesitate to contact Dan again if any other issues were to present themself. Have the utmost confidence and trust in Dan that he would sort out any further issues I may come across. Absolute massive thanks to Dan and I would certainly recommend that if you have to contact customer service if you have purchased from AWB motors regarding any issues, these would be rectified extremely quickly and with no hassle or difficulty.

Massive thanks again to Dan from AWB motors customer service for rectifying my issue promptly and without any difficulty.
