This place deserves zero stars

This place deserves zero stars. I ordered a bouquet with lilies and roses in it. They delayed the delivery by two days. The third day they called and said my two choices were sunflowers or roses. I said those are my only two options?? they said that or a live plant. Well, my best friend was in a horrible car accident and is in a wheelchair so I don’t think a live plant is what she needs to be worrying about right now.. they assured me that the roses would be multicolored. I didn’t know that brown was a new color of roses, but apparently it is because she received them and they were half dead.. I call the customer service to complain. She offered me a $15 off coupon for my next purchase.. I said I won’t ever use this company again so how will this benefit me? It was a $75 bouquet mind you. At the end, she decided to give me a $39 discount which for $39 I could’ve gotten a bouquet at the local grocery store if I would’ve lived in the state and it would have looked amazing. Do better!

I ordered a teddy bear and some…

I ordered a teddy bear and some balloons and did not receive them. They eventually refunded my money for those items but I wanted the teddy bear and balloons for my wife. Not my money back.

Although the arrangement was beautiful…

Although the arrangement was beautiful and I completely understand that they will not always look like the picture, it’s what’s available, I picked the most colorful flowers intentionally to brighten her day, with square like vase and she received mostly white flowers with rounded vase.

This company was incredibly difficult…

This company was incredibly difficult and inconvenient to use. I was over charged with hidden fees for my flower arrangement, and upon the arrival of them they were dead nor was it the arrangement I chose nor was my vase and balloons attached. I ordered a tulip arrangement and got 12 roses paper wrapped and stuffed in a cardboard box. After expressing my issue I was met with a horrible attitude and offered every kind of discount to prevent giving me the refund I’ve requested. I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone moving forward.

extremely disappointed with your service!

I was extremely disappointed with your service!! First I ordered a beautiful birthday bouquet (because it was advertised delivery within 24 hours) Then the following day, I get a message saying that that bouquet is not available and you sent me four choices to choose from (None of which I liked) I picked the purple orchid out of desperation because it was my mother’s 90th birthday and She was home alone, and I wanted her to have something for her special Birthday…. Instead, she got a tiny ugly orchid, FOUR days after her birthday!!! I will never order from you again!! (not to mention the person delivering the flowers was very rude!!)

Disappointed! 😞

Good afternoon, my name is Russell President and Chief Executive Officer of the Russell Reed Foundation. I would like to express my appreciation for your excellent product. I have engaged your services on two occasions on behalf of my daughter, who has a fondness for flowers. However, I am dissatisfied with our most recent transaction. If I could give less than one star

If I could give less than one star , I certainly would . My order was over $70.00 and nothing like what I asked for . When I contacted avas to tell them of my order they offered me 40 % off my next order and a $15 refund . I told them that wasn't exceptable . He put me on hold ,never came back and eventually disconnected me . I've contacted my credit card to dispute my charges . Stay away ! W. Yeager

Your company is a rip off

Your company is a rip off. There was no one to speak to and in your email. I had to choose a substitution for my $80 order. The email made it sound like this would be a bonus due to not having my original selection available. I chose an orchid. It’s an awful expensive price for an orchid. I tried contacting you and there was no response.

Total Scam

Total Scam. You order flowers and then, when it's too late, they charge you a service fee of almost $30. If you get a real person they will just hang up on you.

At AVAS, we prefer to keep it separate so that you know exactly what you are paying for at the final step of the web checkout. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Our mission is to make all customers' online ordering experiences seamless. The final cost of a purchase largely depends on many factors, including the destination, applicable taxes, and the day and date of delivery. This makes it challenging to provide the total before collecting all the relevant information. To ensure that the customer's expectations are set correctly, Steps 1 (Delivery Info) and 2 (Billing Info) state that tax and fees will be calculated once the addresses and delivery date are confirmed. 

After addresses and delivery dates are filled in on Steps 1 and 2, we can calculate any relevant costs outside the product total. Step 3, the ""Review & Place Order"" section of our online cart, allows customers to enter a coupon code they may wish to include. This section displays the total, including tax and fees. The flowers were a little wilted upon arrival however the recipient said that they perked up a little when she put them in water. I had requested baby’s breath and a bow, however that was not added. : (

Used to be good but now…

Ava’s flowers was always my go to but recently any time I order flowers, even if I’m trying to order a week or more ahead, something goes wrong and then they won’t answer the phone, email, or chat. This was probably the last time I’ll use them which is super disappointing, it’s been three bad experiences in a row after a couple years of them being the best. I’m just super disappointed.

If I could have rated 0 stars I would…

If I could have rated 0 stars I would have. I ordered a flower arrangement for an illness that was to be delivered on 6/5/26. Late in the afternoon I received a message saying the flowers I ordered were unavailable and could be replaced with a choice of sub par flower arrangements. I chose to cancel the order and get a refund. They then offered a $20 refund if I ordered from the menu. I reluctantly went back and place an order as I really wanted the person receiving them to get a boost with delivery. I was assured delivery the next day on 6/6/26. As the day went on I saw by tracking it was sitting at the shipping warehouse at UPS. Needless to say it was not delivered. I began calling customer service to cancel my order on 6/6. To no surprise, you cannot talk to anyone in person regarding an existing order, so I left a message after being told via recorded message someone would get back to me shortly. I then called back and pressed option for a new order. Immediately I was on the phone with a representative, who said she could not help me, but would forward it to the right department and someone would get back to me quickly. I told her to cancel my order, but she said she was unable to help me. I also had returned text messages regarding the order to cancel it, as delivery 4 days after the fact for an illness didn’t do me much good. I also left another message to cancel on the phone. 6/7/26 was a Sunday and apparently delivery is not an option as the UPS tracking said set for detonator 6/8/26. I agin called both numbers at customer service, informed them I want to cancel and no one has responded to me in days. I agin also informed them via text I want to cancel. Delivery was made 6/8/26. I was never once responded to by anyone regarding all the messages to cancel. I also never received my $20 refund to stay and order. Long story short, AVOID AVAS FLOWERS AT ALL COSTS! Customer service is horrible, unless your giving them your money. Order # 14904926

I ordered the sky Moon and stars…

I ordered the sky Moon and stars picture the in a blue vase with bow. Lots of blue flowers and yellow flowers and some white. What I received was and I might add a day later than I wanted and thought I ordered, was a clear vase with a blue bow and predominantly white flowers with some yellow and blue. Not what I ordered. Not what I ordered it all. Very disappointed.
