Smooth and Hassle-Free Car Buying Experience
I had a very positive experience with Autohero from start to finish. I ordered a Golf 7 and the entire online ordering process was smooth and straightforward.
I went to the collection center exactly at the time I was given and the car was already prepared and ready. The interior was clean and well presented. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and most importantly, there was absolutely no pressure. They gave me plenty of time to inspect the car at my own pace.
The condition of the car matched the photos perfectly. There were no scratches or dents beyond what was already shown online. During the 21-day trial period, I did not encounter any issues at all. I also had the car checked by ADAC, and the inspection report showed no problems.
So far, I am very happy with my purchase. The fact that the whole process was online and hassle-free saved me a lot of time. Since I don’t have another car, visiting multiple dealerships outside the city would have been quite time-consuming for me. Autohero made the entire experience easy and convenient. I would definitely recommend them.

The purchase went well. It was fast and straightforward. I didn’t spend much time looking at the car at the dealership, as I wanted to take it as quickly as possible. Afterwards, I noticed that the interior of the vehicle wasn’t really clean. But apart from that one complaint, everything else was great.

The car is exactly as was advertised. Been using it for 2 months and have had no issues or concerns. The car was missing navigation card, for which I raised a ticket and it was timely resolved and fully paid by Autohero.
Highly recommended and would definitely use Autohero again for my next car.

Well, I am an employee of AutoHERO but you still can’t fully tell what a used cat will be like until you actually see it and start driving it. Besides, it was at a very different location to the one I work at. So while i had some vague inside access to information I was buying an online car like anyone else would. And the car is actually even better than expected tho it was expected to be a good one.

Easy, Honest, and Convenient Car Buying Process
I had a very great experience buying a used car from Autohero. The entire process was completely online, transparent, and very smooth from start to finish. All the information about the car was clear, and the vehicle I received was exactly the same as shown in the pictures on the website, which was very important to me.
One of the best parts of the service was that I was able to change my delivery date once, free of charge and without any issues. I also really appreciated being able to choose the delivery location myself, which made the whole process very convenient.
The only negative point was the phone support system, as the waiting time to reach an agent was quite long. However, overall I am very satisfied with the purchase and delivery service, and I would definitely recommend Autohero to others.

Terrible experience
Terrible experience – absolutely unacceptable service.
We found our dream car on Autohero and kept it reserved for four weeks. We traded in our old car, bought another one, paid the remaining amount immediately, and received a confirmed handover date ten days later. On the day of the appointment, after hearing nothing, we called Autohero — only to be told that the car was still in logistics and the delivery would not happen.
From that moment, everything went downhill. Autohero cancelled five appointments in total. Each time we had already taken time off work, arranged childcare, scheduled appointments with the registration office, insurance, and tire service — all of which we had to cancel again and again.
We wrote to Autohero explaining how unfair this was, and they offered a €150 compensation. We accepted, received written confirmation, and were told it would be forwarded to accounting. Later they cancelled yet another appointment due to “technical issues” with the car. At that point we cancelled the whole purchase and requested a refund. The refund took 2.5 weeks — without the promised €150. When we asked why, they suddenly said compensation is only paid if the car is actually purchased.
Autohero cancelled the appointments — not us. Their behaviour is unprofessional, unreliable, and completely disrespectful towards customers. We are honestly relieved that we did not buy the car in the end. For a company that advertises everywhere, this level of service is an absolute disgrace.
