As a foreigner only AutoHero trusted me with finance and from.ordering to picking it up was less than a week. Had a problem with the car one of the engine mounts was worn they made an appointment for me at ATau and fixed it in 1 week. I picked the car in Northeim , the complete staff were so friendly.

I chose AutoHero because I was looking for a smooth, reliable, and stress-free car buying experience. Unfortunately, my experience turned out to be the exact opposite.
The process already started with issues: the delivery date was changed twice. I accepted this patiently, but the real problems began after receiving the car. Immediately after delivery, the front parking sensors malfunctioned. Later it turned out that this was caused by an incorrectly installed license plate holder by AutoHero. Despite being told that the vehicle had been “checked”, such a basic mistake being overlooked seriously undermined my trust.
Shortly after, it became clear that the tire pressure sensors were faulty, the wheel balancing had not been done, and the car had effectively been delivered without proper preparation. Over time, even more problems appeared: rear tire pressure sensor failures, a low-beam headlight failure, a broken hose in the engine bay, and signs of very unprofessional wiring insulation.
What is just as frustrating as the defects themselves is how slowly and reluctantly AutoHero handles these issues. Every new problem means more emails, more explanations, and more waiting.
I deliberately chose AutoHero because I needed a dependable car to take my daughter to and from the hospital, and I expected peace of mind. Instead of a hassle-free experience, I ended up with constant stress, workshop visits, and a new problem almost every month.
In summary, I expected a “checked and reliable vehicle”. What I received was far from that. Based on my experience, I cannot describe AutoHero as trustworthy, and I believe future customers should be aware of this before making a decision.

I purchased the car on January 7, 2026.
I was initially promised delivery on January 22, 2026.
I later received a written, confirmed handover date for January 28, 2026, which was also missed.
Since then, I have received only evasive, generic replies stating that my case is “with logistics” or “with supervisors,” with no concrete transport status, no estimatives, and no binding new delivery date.
This is unprofessional and disrespectful, especially in the context of a financed purchase. Once financing is in place, the customer is effectively left in a position of dependency, without transparency, accountability, or a clear path to delivery.
Had I seen similar complaints on Trustpilot before placing my order, I would not have proceeded with this purchase.
I am not asking to cancel. I am asking for basic professional standards: a clear, binding delivery plan, operational transparency, and a named responsible contact who actually owns this case.

The sales process was fine but after we received the car we could not register it so it is now sitting in a parking garage. I completed the online licensing procedure myself - requesting they sent the licensing documents to Ravensburg. Also the next day when we collected the vehicle they said they would send them but to no avail. We have called and after many failed attempts managed to find someone who also said he would ensure they are sent but we have no confirmation and no tracking number. These are originals we are talking about. How can there be no tracking number? Have the necessary documents been sent to the Ravensburg licensing department yet? How can we find out? And finally, how can we keep a vehicle we cannot license? As it is we cannot drive it. We are just paying for parking while it sits there.
Update- since writing this review Auto Hero has helped me locate the required documents for the licensing department. Specifically, their Sales Manager, Alex P. helped so much. He helped by internally prompting the right people. The word out is that the documents are now at the licensing department. We have a tracking number too - hence the improvement from one star to 4. Its not 5 stars because Auto Hero needs to work on their process regarding sending the licensing documents - perhaps send a confirmation email and tracking number to the purchaser?

@Birkan Ercan was very friendly and welcoming. He attended as soon as we entered the door. Everything was explained in detail and we had an opportunity to inspect the car for as long as we like. We found a car on autohero,placed order and have it delivered on 7 of January ,not bad as was holidays ! Before delivery we received a lot of courtesy calls ,after delivery it is something else and please be aware if you want to buy from them .
1.The car was delivered on 7 of January ,absolutely filthy inside and outside ( unfortunately trustpilot doesn't allow pics)
on windscreen was a red marker saying stock number ,date and so on ,they don't ever bother to wipe it out .
2. 7 January snow of 20 cm in Deutschland and they sent the car with summer tyres ( not even a word on website for it )
3 . Driver seat heating not working
We decide on 8 of January to cancel the order as to many issues for a 2018 car .
On 8 afternoon we receive a phone call and the guys said : Don't worry we will compensate for all this and stupid me I said ok then ,let the sale goes as planned.
On 9 and on 10th of January we made around 7 phone calls and sent 5 emails to ask if everything will be ok as we didin't receive a confirmation of sale going on and we have appointment to register the car on 12 of January !!! Finally after 2 days someone sent a email with the ok and over phone said : yes ,go and register your car as registration certificate is waiting at registration office for you . Guess what ? Registration office said no brief with them ,all been sent back to Autohero.
Today we are in 14 ,we have no sign of brief sending back to registration office ,no sign of any compensation as they promised ,in the mean time I rent a car paying 80€ per day plus finance on car I don't use it because autohero doesn't care about their customers .
Is beyond my way of thinking why is so hard for them to take another 5 days number plates and send them with next day deliver till they sort their own mess up ,they prefer to have a unhappy customer then fix a issue in 5 min.
Stay well away from them if you don't want to be stranded with a car worth 17000 in front of your house and just look at it .
