Great little laptop. Works like new, had an issue with the keypad and it was resolved quickly.

This is the second laptop I've purchased through ACT and I finally got one that I'm really happy with. I'm really enjoying some of the cool features it has compared to the first one that I got which I'm now passing onto my sister. I'm lovin the HPZBook and the staff who assisted me with my queries this time around, when I was looking online and rung up for some help, was great. You can never tell it's a refurbished laptop. It works great and does what I need it to do. Programs are upgrading and updating all the time so this is the only thing I now have to get use to. Lucky I'm a Geeky Girl so it won't take long. Thanks ACT - glad I was recommended to you and I won't think twice in recommending you to others.

On Friday 13th September 2024 I purchased 2 Western Digital WD5000AAKX 500GB SATA 6.0GB/s 3.5" Internal Hard Disk Drive for $38 ($19 each) so I could use it in the Dell OptiPlex 9020 SFF and my Mum can use it in hers. It came on Wednesday 18th September 2024 so I was very impressed with the fast delivery.

Laptop was as described and is working perfectly so far. I've moved everything from the old to the new and downloaded Microsoft 365. My only issue was the wrong power cord was sent with the laptop. ACT were pleasant to deal with and after my sending a few photos agreed to replace the connection. It took about a fortnight for it to arrive so I could not use the laptop during this period. I thought this could have been quicker.

The item upon receival was found to be not totally clean of information. ACT organised a return to them, rectified and the item was expediently sent back with all issues resolved. Could not be happier with the service offered.

I cannot fault the service and follow up from Gerhard with he problem with the Dell he was straight on it and sorted out a resolution and he also followed up with the replacement .

Avoid this companyI would not recommend this company to anyone. I purchased an A grade refurbishment i7 HP laptop for $600. It took over 1 week to arrive & when it did, I was sent at least a C grade laptop. Full of scratches, scuff marks, pieces missing of the back trim, it was like it had been in use for 10 yrs+ & thrown around. Nothing like they advertised & guaranteed you would receive. it was certainly not A Grade I had paid for. To make matters worse, the charger they sent in the box did not fit the laptop sent so you couldn't even use it! I immediately tried calling this company. I was only able to leave a message. I asked to be called back & to this day still no return phone calls. I sent an email with photos & voicing my disappointment. I did receive a email reply back no apology no personalised email, just yes this is not an A grade laptop. I was offered $180 refund to keep the laptop or return it. They said they had no replacement, even though I could still go online & reorder the same laptop. I chose to return it. I sent a further email with proof of returned item. Still no email or phone call from them, despite receiving confirmation from AUS post the item has been delivered back.
I'm extremely disappointed with the lack of communication & with no apology from this company & i would never recommend them to anyone or who is reading this. I only have 2 words left to say "shonky donkeys"!

i purchased 2 dell latitude rugged laptops from Australian computer traders , after 1 month i had issues with one i purchased for myself and it was returned for repairs . It was returned completely wiped back to factory setting and i had to re-install everything again . just recently 1 year and 3 weeks after the original purchase date and less than a year from the repair date it completely shutdown and is dead . Australian computer traders refused to cover the laptop and under warranty even though they had worked on it less than a year before to repair it which is as far as i am aware contravenes Australian consumer and at very least is ethically a bad business model . personally i would not but any products from such a shonky operation

Laptop in perfect shape. Residue from a sticker on bottom, but that doesn't bother me. The incorrect charger cable was delivered, but customer service was excellent. Prompt email communication, and express delivery of correct charger. Laptop had full battery when it arrived, which was awesome! Love being a part of the circular economy - buying refurbed, especially when you have the option of 2 year warranty. It's a no-brainer!

Good computer specifications for the price

I was disappointing that the 1st laptop I received had a power up fault. The replacement is working well and we are very happy with it. The customer service was pretty good.
