My book was terminated by Publisher…
My book was terminated by Publisher Austin Macaulay out of the blue with a very short notice. It took them 2 years to proof read the book and got it wrong every time. I paid them a lot of money over £3000 to publish the book. They promised me everything and came up with nothing. I am shocked and very upset as they said the book was not selling enough on Amazon and other sites. I complained to Austin Macauley several times as I could not find the book on Amazon the book in general had very poor marketing. This issue was not resolved either, they said it wasn't down to them but Amazon to list the book correctly. On the whole this is a very bad experience for me. If anyone is considering a publisher do not go with Austin Macauley they are expensive and rubbish and cannot come up with anything positive. I now have found a new publisher and they are amazing, they have been so very helpful giving me ideas and are very inexpensive. Again Austin Macauley just take your money and promise you everything they are crap.

Very Poor Service.
It has been hard work with AM. It had been hard work throughout the process tbh - continually chasing them - the delays were worse and they even kept getting my cover designs wrong. I have invested a lot of money with AM. Poor marketing, hence very poor returns on royalties and no response from them when logging complaints. Not sure what more I can do if they will not respond to complaints which is not very good except to vent my anger here. I was promised a response and some marketing kits will be arranged but so far nothing at all and nothing of substance. AM have had my money and now there seems very little appetite or interest in working with me as an author. With my experience it is hard to recommend AM - I shall look for another publisher or self-publish my third book. I bet AM will come back with some excuse or explanation in response. Apology is no good to me - I need demonstration of what Susanna Valeriani, Alexander Holiday and Jade Robertson had said to me in a signed letter dated 5th February 2020! "We take pride in what we do.......our continuing success is best illustrated as we grow as a business" I dont believe I have had good deal and not sure if they have fulfilled the contractual bargain I hired them to perform. Lets see how they deal with this review.
My contract has now been terminated by AM. I have asked them to refund 60% of the money as I am not satisfied as to the service - was 100% well below standard and some reviews do support me. I paid them a total of £3,900. So asked for 60% = £2,340 but have refused. I am considering legal action against them. So Anyone willing to support me welcome to get in touch.
A very unhappy author.

Efficient, communicative and helpful
Although this is the first time I have had a book published, everything in the process seems to have run very smoothly and efficiently. Communication has been top-notch so I have known exactly what is going on at each stage of the process. They have also answered my assorted questions quickly. Well done. I would definitely use them again - if I write another book!

The email contact was good and timely. As in all companies nowadays I missed the talking communication. I do understand that contact in writing is probably better for all.

From the start Austin Macauley have been very professional, helpful, dedicated and polite.
They've kept me a part of the process from start to finish, which helped me to feel like they truly cared how I felt about how it was going and turning out.

Hello Austin Macauley Publishers,
Hello Austin Macauley Publishers,
Together we had a wonderful experience. The public may or may not like my book. But the encouragement and feedback received from you were for me, the author of this novel, an extraordinary moral support. With every department I had contact with, the same politeness, the same encouragement, the same positive attitude. I can't wait to have my book in my hands. I don't have much to wait and for that I thank you from the bottom of my heart to the wonderful Austin Macauley Publishing House.
With all my love and consideration,
Niculina Panghe - (Nina Koman)

I may as well have self published
I may as well have self published. Little support and zero sales. The few books sold received 5/5 ratings on Amazon so I know it’s not my book failing, it’s them. I email them and now I get no response whatsoever.

The memo diarys written by Michaela Cummings Was a beautifully written account of her difficult journey through the
menopause.
I found it interesting how women have their own unique journeys with the menopause, so would highly recommend this book.

From start to finish the Austin Macauley team were super professional and friendly. They made the complicated process of publishing my first children's book, "Little Simon, Stop that Climbing" easy for me. Since books for toddlers are heavily illustrated I was consulted by the Art Dept on a weekly basis regarding each page and they genuinely valued my input as the author. Their illustrations turned out far better than I imagined and I am thrilled with how my book turned out. I highly recommend Austin Macauley Publishers.

An enlightening experience
As a first time writer, having finished my rough draft, I was very much in need of guidance through the publishing process. Austin Macauley has given me what I was looking for, a thorough editing of the text which although a long and slow process, was always a collaborative effort. We communicated by email and this was effective, our exchanges were frequent and business-like, but sometimes I would have preferred face-to-face contact to discuss the overall progression of my writing.
Presently I am working with the marketing team to promote my book. I was surprised to learn that this publishing firm contributes so enthusiastically, and that I too am being encouraged to explore venues for advertising with their assistance.
The telephone contact I have had with customer service has always been positive. In production, the staff have been friendly and professional. In marketing I have found them helpful, answering my queries patiently, and emailing me relevant information.
As a first time writer I have been impressed by Austin Macauley's commitment, and I would certainly recommend their services.
