I found Austin Macauley Publishers to be an ethical company in my experience. Sadly, I could not afford the fees to cover the publishing of my book.
When I explained my health situation, the owners were very understanding. All parties agreed to end the contract between us and went our separate ways.
I am now a self-published anthropomorphic storyteller living in South America. My first book will be released on January 27th this year.

Alas, I must admit to having been wrong about AMP - it is a scam, and quite possibly, the worst out there! Just received my first royalty statement: zero dollars earned, 13 sales for the last six months. Which I know is impossible, because 21 copies were sold to Canadian libraries, and can easily be shown by checking the relevant library data bases of copies on hand. Also, two Amazon sites had significant surges in June, but no sales shown on my royalty statement. But if that isn't enough, my book "VLAD DRACULA: THE IMPALER" has been ranked in the top ten (in keyword subject) on virtually every bookseller online for the last 10 months, which begs the question: How does a book rank high competing with several hundred other books on the subject when you've sold ZERO copies???! I have to admit, the authors on Austin Macauley's website, many who have numerous titles published, must all have been given traditional contracts, and therefore an advance. Unfortunately, I hadn't considered that as a reason for their "success." AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!

I would like to thank Austin Macauley sincerely for their support. As a foreign writer, I am very satisfied with their editorial contributions. Austin Macauley did a fantastic job with the illustrations, including the cover page and also the layout of my book. It is printed to a very high standard. If I want to publish again, I would definitely like to work with Austin Macauley.

I had an amazing experience with Austin Macauley. From the moment I submitted my story, they provided incredible feedback and worked closely with me every step of the way. They maintained regular contact, ensuring I was always in the loop and had the support I needed.

One of the things I appreciated most was the options they gave me for the book cover, making sure it matched my vision for the book. They also sent me complimentary copies of the book, along with bookmarks and postcards featuring my book title and blurb, which was a lovely touch.

My experience of working with Austin Macauley has been a wonderful and enjoyable experience from start to finish. I had a dedicated co-ordinator who kept me up to date with progress on a regular basis and answered any questions I had in a timely manner. All changes I requested were done quickly and in line with my direction. The final product -my book - looks fabulous. I couldn’t be more pleased. I have nothing but praise for those involved in the production and marketing of my book. This is my first leap into publishing and I would thoroughly recommend this company to anyone considering publishing a book.

Delighted with the result although I don't have a hard copy yet. Process was very slow with weeks if not months of silence. When I asked questions in emails they were rarely if ever answered - or even acknowledged as having been asked. One question I asked three times over a number of weeks but no answer - I began to wonder whether I was dealing with an AI Bot. Corrections I made in the manuscript were sometimes ignored so I had to do them again. Other than that I am pleased with the result.

Austin Macauley is a great publisher to work with and I speak based on the treatment I received. One thing many forget is if you are working with other humans they have emotions and how you speak to them would determine if they’d be interested in working further with you.

I have evaluated previous comments and it initially almost scared me a year ago when I started the journey with them. But I am glad I had a good experience and it was worth the journey.

My collection “The hymns of a deepman” is also on many platforms across the world. They have also offered insights and promotion. Also invited me for book fairs. And submitted for awards.

I enjoyed working with them and if you an author I can guarantee you if you work with them you’d have a good experience. Just try not to disrespect individuals.

Publishers would do as much as they can to help you. It’s left for your talent to sell itself. So far, people have loved my book and the quality. Looking to hit millions of copies in sales but that comes from making a name for myself of which I would.

So fellow writers thinking on if this is a good step. Yes it is… and it’s worth every effort, resource or time invested.

Extra help. Austin Macaulay helped me because I am internet and media ignorant. The art department is number one. They are the best. I wanted to traditional publish. I believe if Austin Macaulay would have sent me a million dollars advance they will still have made money. My book is selling all around the world. Love you guys

The review board to the production staff to the marketing team did everything they said they would do per the agreed upon contract. My novel was produced and delivered on time and published on the retailer sites right on time. My novel looks fantastic. Here's to hoping it catches fire>

I don't want to even leave 1star.am published my book in 2019 didn't listen to the bad reviews to my cost they are brilliant in every way until they have your money.i am not writing this because my book didn't sell I am writing this because I would not like to see other people wasting time and money.this really is a scam.i am out of my contract and could not be happier.you are throwing your money away and when you realise this please write a review like I have to try to deter others from doing the same

Editing done by computer using American English for my very English book so I edited it myself. Artwork for the cover was computer generated so I took my own photo for it. They did no marketing at all that I could detect so I promoted the book myself. I could have saved money by going to an honest vanity publisher but was taken in by their slick presentation.

It was a a really fun experience seeing my work come alive. I looked forward to the correspondence which I knew was getting my book nearer to publishing.

From the very first letter I received confirming that Austin Macauley was willing to go into partnership with me to publish my book. I knew I was onto a winner
