The booking process was clear and simple until I encountered a screen informing me that the fare I'd selected was no longer available. I was offered to accept a higher fare which was disconcerting.... See more

Can you please answer my emails. Due to a medical emergency with my son I had to cancel my flight home. I have tried to contact Aunt Betty multiple times over many platforms and have had no luck in getting through to anyone. An okay agent to book with but you will be abandoned if you have any issues.

Overall satisfying experience booking through Aunr Betty for my trip to Istanbul. Everything went well and would use them again.

Booking with Aunt Betty is risky. They are unethical.
Before paying, it showed included checked luggage, as did the Booking Confirmation and Manage Booking. However the eTicket didn’t.
Contacting Aunt Betty numerous times was time wasting and useless as they stonewalled us. They claimed it was an auto reply error, blamed the airline, and told us to contact the airline.
I sent it to productreview mediation and was contacted by Brad who said luggage would be added. It never happened despite following up. It was a lie!
The airline said AB had messed up the booking. We paid an extra €80 for luggage.
What sort of unethical company doesn’t honour their booking confirmation and then further deceives you? AVOID.

They don’t pick up the phone even in emergencies. When you finally get through, they promise to fix the situation and tell you that they will get back to you in a few days but it’s been 2 weeks and we haven’t heard anything yet. Terrible service. Avoid at all costs!

I booked a Singapore airline return flight to Europe with Aunt Betty and after many years of travelling I now understand to never book flights with an online agency. Its better to go with the airline direct if you want any power over what you purchased. Don't be fooled by the lower flight cost agencies offer because you will have no control if the airline cancels any of the flight legs. After many phone calls and emails I now have to travel 4 days earlier than planned. Otherwise we would have been stuck in Singapore for 26 hours instead of 2 hours.

Process was easy...TBH, best I have ever undertaken! Very easy to follow. Great everyday language. Simple instructions. No 'hidden' imposts e.g. booking and paying for seats and adding luggage like you find on Aunt Betty competitors. The booking experience was fast, no nonsense, and great follow-up with prompt email confirmations etc. I also loved the opportunity to purchase an e-Sim card when I made the booking. I normally use another provider but the price was the same and I trust Aunt Betty who made it easy to just click onto the purchase.

My Email to Marvin (manager at Aunt Betty, based in the Philippines). Btw, I bought a flexible ticket, and when I wanted to change my flight, they thought of anything to avoid the service I paid for.
Brilliant staff you have there working for you.
Firstly, they are lying when they say I yelled at them or was rude. Phone call recording and my wife are there as evidence.
Secondly, they do not want to speak with my wife about my ticket.
Thirdly, every time I spoke to any of your staff, I recorded the phone call, which will be presented to the Australian Ombudsmen, with your name, Jen, clearly stated as the person who failed to deliver what I paid Aunt Betty for.
In our conversation, I gave you permission to speak with my wife and resolve the issue. You promised to follow up on that once I depart for Europe. Apparently, you and Jen are much better at talking than delivering what I have paid your company for. Not only that, I shall provide all this communication evidence to the Australian Ombudsman and to anyone who even considers purchasing tickets from your company. I shall also forward this correspondence to Flight Centre, your parent company, for their records.
I leave it now to you and your company to make the next move. As a last resort, I would be happy to move my return ticket to next year as well. That, for any travelling agency, should not be an issue.
Please do not engage with this company, as they BLOCK YOUR PHONE NUMBER SO THEY DO NOT NEED TO DEAL WITH YOU, TICKET CHANGE OR ANY HELP YOU MIGHT NEED.

Don’t use them if you can. It seems like a cheap option but you will pay in the long run. Be prepared to be on hold for hours if you need to speak to them and if you are due a refund you will get no answers or updates

They charge 150 as fee for change date or cencel but they cannot hire enough people for phone support i wait 1 hr 30 mini but no response i never see this kond of useless customer support in my life.

Stay away .ipaid for priorityservice and nobody is responding to emails. This is my worst experience and I take 10-12 flights every year. Callcentre is in Philipines. One girl even suggested to call airline instead of helping us. Everyone knows that if you buy through third party you can not call the airline. Three phone calls at least hour each. Told us to call after we arrive as we were changing return flight. 10 days later trying every day still nothing . Discrace that Australia let them operate

Flight was changed within a few days of leaving by the airline. Aunt Betty doesn't allow online changes this close to takeoff, yet the call line instructions you to try online. Called twice, waiting 30 minutes each time. They would answer, not speak and then hang-up. Worst booking website, I will never use them again and I recommend others avoid.

Absolutely shocking company. I would give zero stars if I could.
Booked flights in January which were cancelled due to the war in the Middle East. Advised by Qatar Airways that the refund had to be issued by Aunt Betty. My other direct flights with Qatar for another trip were credited back within two days.
13 weeks later still no refund issued and when I called Qatar to query the refund process they advised that Aunt Betty hadn’t even requested a refund when they advised that they had back in March which is why I still hadn’t received the refund.
Now stuck in limbo between the two companies and unable to get through to their useless customer service team via phone due to delays .
Do not book with this company. I will never use them again.

Booked a flight Brisbane-Frankfurt-Brisbane via China Eastern Airlines. Outbound flight was fine, but we needed to move the return flight as my wife was sick in bed with a 1 week 'no-flight order' from the doctor. That was two days from departure.
Called up Aunt Betty support and a friendly lady told me that this no problem, these are the costs and they only need an email from my wife confirming I can make changes on her behalf (as she was sick in bed). We knew there would be extra charges which we were fine to cover.
Got wife to send the email, called back 10mins later, agent confirmed they have the email, but then told me that they can't change the return flight as no flights are available ... at all, never. I could see plenty of flights online with the same airline, same flight numbers, on various different days in the future. I was flexible on date and advised of that. They insisted they can't do anything and can't offer a refund either. Basically 'yes you paid for it, but we can't help you. Tough luck'.
Called up the airline next who confirmed there are plenty of spots available on all dates I asked for, my wife's ticket is eligible for changes and that Aunt Betty MUST help me. Even a cancellation is possible as there is a medical certificate. The airline couldn't make changes themselves as the flight was booked via Aunt Betty.
Called up Aunt Betty again and same story: Can't help you, no flights available, tough luck, no changes, no cancellation, no refund. I kept explaining (very calmly) what the airline had stated and the agent just hung up mid-call as he ran out of answers. There was no explanation as to why they couldn't change the flight other than 'no flights are available' which was clearly a lie.
Sent a request via their website, explaining it all over again but never had a response.
Worst experience ever, will never book with Aunt Betty again and advise everyone I know to do the same.
We ended up needing to escalate it through the airline who used a loophole to change the flight dates. They even did so at no charge which we didn't ask for.
Shame on you Aunt Betty! Pathetic support and sketchy business practice.

Very poor customer service. Qatar Airways had provided the refund for my cancelled flight, yet I have had to chase this up with Aunt Betty. Getting through to them is a nightmare as the waiting time is ridiculously long and if you aren't at your laptop at the time they connect you lose your place very quickly.

I had a very bad experience with Aunt Betty, they charge for insurance and everything extra with tickets for cancelled flights, and if we request a refund they will not respond, even if they respond they will not refund anything, pls beware consumers, don't loose money the way I did

Second time leaving a review for this awful company as it seems to be only way to get a response from them. After asking a refund for my flights on the 8th March, I was orignally told I had to wait 30 days for the refund, that date has passed, nothing. After a magical change of policy I was told that i would then have to wait 12 weeks for the refund to process (which i have in writing), that passed last monday on the 31st June.
I spoke to someone over the phone who said i should expecty it back by today 8th June (also have this in writing). Low and behold my refund is still not retruned to me. Qatar airways have assurred me after speaking to their financial teams that the refund has been sent to aunt betty and it has to come from them. When i spoke to someone from aunt betty last they said they have recieved no such money. It is impossible to get through to a supervisor or manager as they either dont reply to the question when asked or straight up say no.
I am this close to reporting them and seeking legal help against this awful company. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Reservation ABY35720876
