During the past 4 years I have bought 4 bags of this brand - in different colors and designs. Wonderful quality and fast delivery (Germany). I love them. No of bags I wanted to return, thus, no experience with returns.

I absolutely love my crossbody bag, and the customer service is outstanding! After a few months of use, I noticed a scratch on the clasp and reached out to Atelier August. Their team was wonderful—quick to respond, and after I sent photos, they shipped me a replacement clasp at no extra cost. It’s so refreshing to have an issue resolved without jumping through hoops or paying more. I truly appreciate both the product and the service, and I’ll definitely shop with them again!

Prompt service is great. I love the design of the bag and the unique closing but I am disappointed in the leather as the leather is described as box leather with gold hardware. I have box leather from a few designers including Hermes and their box leather is extremely smooth and usually has a bit of a glow to it. Box leather has a natural shine but your leather does not have any shine. Box calf leather has a smooth and glossy finish. It can also easily scratch and it will develop a patina over the years. Your leather has a very fine horizontal design etched or stamped into the leather which does not look like the very smooth leather that I saw in your pictures nor what I have seen in person from other box leather designs. Also I don’t think your leather with it’s fine horizontal design would scratch easily like box leather. I am not sure that it has an aniline finishing. I am contemplating returning the bag. Please advise how to do this. Thanks.

Bought 2 and both same issue. Slight “dryness” of the leather at the handles that look prone to peeling or cracking soon. Not as perfect as expected.

The quality of my mini marly bag in pebbeled leather is exceptional, the leather, the hardware. It overall comfortability, the size is perfect and what is important in my warm climate fits the bottle of water. The color cappuccino is a great for all seasons.
My only concern is that it’s a bit too easy to open. Unintentional slight touch if the lock leads to its opening. Hopefully I’ll get used to it and the zipper is protecting the contents of the bag.

A few weeks ago I purchased the Mini Marly. I was torn between the taupe and tan colors. I chose taupe. Once it arrived, I was so enamored with the bag I ordered the tan color as well. The construction, design + quality of the bag are exquisite. For me, I love the fact that the interior is one compartment. Sometimes dividers in a handbag can help with organization, but it will limit the size of the items that will fit within those dividers. For a mini bag it holds quite a bit. I can carry everything I need and the bag will still maintain its shape with room to spare! I expect I will enjoy this bag for a long time. I highly recommend Atelier Auguste and will definitely purchase from them again❤️
