Best product I've ever bought because it works

I'm not the type to write reviews unless I have an awful experience. But today is the day I leave a positive review for once.

I've been using the Astari black ceramic ring for about 8 months now. No battery charging, no confirmation needed on my phone and it's waterproof.

Only thing I wish Astari had is their own payment app similar to curve. Where the master ring is linked to but can add separate rings with set payments limit for kids or partner. If anyone has used mclear payments rings you'd understand. I'd pay a monthly fee for it

Great ring great service.

I've had the Astari ring a few days now. Absolutely love it. The set up via curve and mii apps was so easy. Just follow the steps. Worked first time perfectly. The ring is very stylish, the fit was spot on. I cannot fault it in any way. Having money taken from your account directly is much better than having a reload funds all the time.

I lost my ring, contacted support. They answered within 2 hours. Gave me all the information I needed. Luckily I found it. Reinstalled the ring and it worked again first time. Can't fault the company or the product. Thanks again.

From buying to wearing and using it.

From buying to wearing and using it.. perfect !
I had a little issue as it didn’t work at first and i contacted the after sales department. They were extremely friendly and helpful and the issue (something I forgot to do) was resolved straight away.
Now, I use it everywhere and it works perfectly fine.

Lack of planning and delays.

This is not a view of the product as I’m yet to receive it, more so the Company and their organisation. I ordered one of the metal rings back in March as part of the Pre-order deal with the initial proposed delivery date being the end of April, and we were told everything was on track. However around the 17th April we were told that the colour wasn’t right so they need to delay things, up to 25th June (a bit more than the stated 6 weeks). We’re now being told that they are expected to be delivered to them by the end of June. And they’ll need to inspect the items, the is no timeline for shipping. Looking on the website, there is a shipping date of around the middle of July. My frustration here is the lack of clarity and the shifting of the goalposts. Surely before putting an item on sale you would check that it works and get a sample. Lack of foresight at its finest

Update: Finally got a ring (I had initially cancelled the order and reordered just over a week ago, the initial purchased brushed colour is still not available). Connecting the ring to the phone is simple. Problem is, that’s where it stops, the curve card cannot be added to the ring as it is constantly telling you the card details are incorrect (they’re not), Curve have a lead time of 3 working days before responding and Astari have 1 working day.

Before launching the pre-order in March, we conducted months of sampling and testing to ensure everything was ready for production. Although we had done everything possible to avoid delays, we made the difficult decision to pause production and fix the issue properly, rather than ship a product we weren’t proud of.

We’ve tried our best to be transparent throughout this process—updating timelines as honestly as possible and always offering immediate refunds to anyone who preferred not to wait. The inspection and final delivery steps you mentioned are in place to ensure that what we send you meets the quality we originally promised.

As a small company, reviews like yours have a big impact on how others perceive us. We fully respect your right to share your experience, but if you’re open to it, we’d be incredibly grateful if you’d consider updating your review—either now or once you’ve received your ring and had a chance to evaluate the final product. What makes this especially disappointing for us is that we did extensive sampling and testing before production to ensure everything would go smoothly. Unfortunately, when the final batch arrived, the finish on the gold variant wasn’t up to the standard we promised our customers. Rather than compromise on quality, we made the difficult decision to delay and rework the production.

Friendly Customers' service

HI, I received my ring a couple of days back: the delivery was faster than forecasted, the ring set up with my curve account as easy as it is explained on the site.
Tried to pay with it but didn't work. Contacted customers support, the reply was fast, we exchange a few time, I did one last thing on my app and can't wait to finish work to see if the problem is solved.
Even if it isn't, their customers service is friendly and efficiant. you are not left waiting ..

Love my payment ring

Excellent customer service
Quick delivery time
Easy to connect to my iPhone but the second connection to connect my card took a while … got to 25% then failed a few times but eventually got there.
I’ve used my payment ring around 10 times now not one issue.
Would highly recommend

It was simple

It was simple, the fact the option for getting a ring sizer if your unsure is great. Support is really simple and letting me know what the status of the particular size was e.g it was out of stock due to demand. But you gave me an ETA of when it should be back and sent. Class customer service and the set up was really straightforward. I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a wearable payment accessory.

Very easy process to order

Very easy process to order. Didn't know my size so had to order a ring sizer which was delivered promptly. After that it was as easy as sending an email to confirm the size and within a few days received it. Very easy to link a card to the app and set up the ring to your phone. Looks smart and works just as intended.

Absolutely love my Astari ring

Absolutely love my Astari ring! I've been using it for a couple of weeks now and it's so easy and convenient!
I had an issue with my initial ring and got in contact with Astari customer services, and spoke with Mike, who talked me through fault finding and then processed a replacement. Mike was absolutely fantastic from my first contact, to taking me through the replacement process and advising of time frames and checking my new ring worked perfectly. I am not marking down a star because of the fautly ring, as that's life and these things happen, but it's how it's dealt with that's important and that was 5 star and the ring has continued to be 5 star. I get so many remarks of 'wow! how did you do that?!' When I go to pay! Thanks Astari - and particularly Mike!

Excellent I wanted to get a ring to…

Excellent I wanted to get a ring to make easy payments as I have shaky hands. It’s a faff getting cards out of wallet or even having to make two quick presses on iPhone or even my Apple Watch now. It may not have been designed as accessibility aid but it’s perfect. The slim design is also better as it doesn’t stick out n smaller hands my ring size is 8. Highly recommend

Easy to use, works flawlessly

Redoing my previous review as I've switched over to the ceramic ring. The ring is comfortable to wear, waterproof so you don't have to take it off constantly for washing etc. It looks nice and works basically as described. Makes everything a lot more easy when it comes to paying. No more fumbling around akwardly with a smartwatch or phone. Not to mention it will raise some eyebrows and have people curious too asking you about it. The multiple delays on the metal rings are still frustrating however when it comes to the ceramic ring they have a consistent well made product, not to mention they are transparent in their updates on the metal rings. So it's safe to say that when the metal rings are finished you can be sure that those will be just as easy to use and comfortable to wear as the ceramic ring.
