Double bed.

Every thing went together very easy there was only one problem I received the latts for the bed approximately 2 weeks before the rest of the bed .
However I am pleased with the bed.

We love our mattress!!

We bought a mattress and were so impressed. The prices are so reasonable so we gave it a go and honestly it's amazing. Our last mattress was hundreds of pounds and my son went bought it for has asked to swap to aspire. Definitely worth a chance!

Purchased 3 seater reclining sofa from…

Purchased 3 seater reclining sofa from this company. The reclining action didn’t work. I had to break the box to get this monster out. I called there customer service immediately and was
Told I couldn’t return this as the box was broken up. I eventually got it replaced with the same sofa. The box got reused to put faulty one in. One week later second sofa has a fault where the spring is popping in the centre. Just called them again asking for a collection. They asked for a video of where the problem is. This I’ve done. They’re saying because it’s not visible that they won’t accept a return. How do you send a
Video with the problem while sitting on it. I’m disgusted with this company. Avoid at all costs. There emails back and forth are no help to you when things go wrong.

Unfortunately, based on the footage received, we have not yet been able to clearly identify the specific issue described.

Before I opened my new mattress topper…

Before I opened my new mattress topper I could smell a farm smell and the box were the most damaged box I've seen. I am registered disabled and I have to spend a lot of time resting, my older mattress is less than a year old from dreams and cost £700 but I was still suffering so because I had a bad experience with the guy at dreams I didn't want to confront them as I don't have the confidence and this is why I bought a topper for my back and neck,so when it arrived I thought oh my word and I prayed and thanked the LORD Jesus Christ for this mattress topper and that it brings comfort to my body and I don't have any issues with it. The LORD Jesus loves the truth and I pray this company Aspire is a truthful company and peoples purchases are met with satisfaction as it's not a nice feeling when we cannot trust companies especially when a mattress is a very very Important purchase so again LORD Jesus Christ be present in this situation and shine your light on this situation, thank you Jesus for everything you do for us Amen

I have been in bed most of the day because of my disability and I can first, as I always do is thank the LORD God Jesus Christ for giving me peace through my illness and for the sustenance today Amen

Poor quality mattress

I bought Alpaca Silk 3000 Pocket Pillowtop Mattress
The quality is very poor.
The mattress is not soft in a way a mattress should. It does not feel like a mattress. The topper is not detachable, it is sewn to the mattress. The size is unusual so you will hardly get a fitted sheet that fits.
Customer service is also poor. They call me and promised to call back, I am still waiting.
Debenhams is now a gain of chance.

I am sorry to hear that you feel disappointed with your purchase and that you have been left with the impression that your concerns have not been addressed.

With regard to the mattress construction, a traditional pillow-top mattress is designed with an additional comfort layer that is permanently sewn onto the top of the mattress. This is standard within pillow-top designs and is intended to provide an integrated comfort layer rather than a removable topper.

In relation to your contact with our Customer Service team, I can see that one of our advisors did attempt to return your call and indeed left a voicemail, however unfortunately the call was not answered at the time. I have now asked a member of the team to try to contact you again so that we can discuss your concerns directly and work towards a resolution.

very comfy Aspire pocket+ 1000 memory mattress

After researching and reading many reviews, I ordered an Aspire pocket+ 1000 memory mattress on 25.2.26, it was delivered 27.2.26. Left it for the desired 48 hours to plump up as it came conveniently rolled for transport. I am extremely pleased with this mattress, it is extremely comfortable and very worth the reasonable price tag (especially considering some prices on other mattresses - not just Aspire ones).

Great quality mattress

I am very pleased with the quality and comfort of this mattress. The pocket springs give great support and in combination with the memory foam, it ensures I have the best night’s sleep.

Excellent customer service

Mattress arrived faulty and I contacted Aspire to explain the problem. Picture was sent and reply agreed that mattress needed to be replaced. Both Sophie and Ryan in Customer Service were extremely helpful. Ryan arranged collection of the faulty mattress and a new one has been delivered. Not able to rate the actual mattress yet but we are hopeful that we will be happy with it as per the positive reviews and not the negative ones!

TERRIBLE MATTRESS & TERRIBLE COMPANY AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.
Bought mattress Aspire mattress from Argos. First delivery mattress wrapping and mattress scuffed ripped and filthy.
Replacement was dirty wrapper but mattress was clean.
Only after a few weeks the fillings? left the sides of the mattress and relocated to the middle causing a banana type hump...then the sides collapsed to the point where you would literally roll out of bed.
Spoke with Aspire who asked for and received my clear photo evidence....I asked for them to pick it up they refused, i offered to take to their warehouse or head office myself they refused.
The Aspire tech team said that when the top and bottom material touch when under pressure and when there is a massive ridge in the middle that's "natural settlement"!!!!
I then contacted Argos customer service who faffed around for weeks and couldn't go against Aspires decision of no return ,replacement or refund.
Before going above them Aspire offered a small amount of money for me to keep the mattress to which I stated we can't use the mattress , we roll off it why on earth would we want to keep it regardless of any amount of discount ????
So I escalated to Sainsburys/Argos head office in London , they asked for an independent report to be sent.. This I did to which to be fair Sainsburys/Argos accepted the findings of "NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE" and instigated a full refund of the report and the original cost of the mattress...
This process took 6 months , and the moral of the story is don't buy from Aspire as both their products and customer service or NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE .To the point of obvious breaches of trading standards and consumer law.
And having to take so much effort , time and money to rectify other peoples mistakes is unacceptable.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Client Complaint
The mattress user reported a significant loss of edge support, resulting in instability when sitting or lying near the
mattress perimeter. The issue affects comfort, usability, and safe use of the mattress.
Inspection Findings
• Noticeable collapse of the mattress edges
• Reduced structural support along the perimeter
• Edge deformation visible without prolonged load
• Insufficient resistance when weight is applied to the mattress edge
• Inconsistent internal fillings along the mattress edges when compared to the central sleeping area
• Uneven mattress profile indicating internal structural failure
Assessment
Edge support is a fundamental structural component of a mattress. During inspection, the internal support and
filling distribution was observed to be uneven, with significantly reduced filling density along the edges compared
to the centre of the mattress. This inconsistency would reasonably result in premature edge collapse under normal
domestic use. There is no evidence of misuse, neglect, or abnormal loading, and the condition is not consistent
with fair wear and tear.
Conclusion
Based on professional assessment, the mattress is deemed NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE. The collapsed edges
significantly impair safe seating, sleeping, and normal functional use. The defect is consistent with a
manufacturing or material fault rather than user-related damage.
Recommendation
It is recommended that the mattress be replaced or refunded under warranty or applicable consumer protection
regulations".

At the time your concerns were first raised, the mattress was reviewed by our technical team based on the images provided. The assessment concluded that the changes described were consistent with normal settlement — a process that can occur during the initial break-in period as comfort fillings adjust to regular use. Settlement is different from a structural fault and is a recognised characteristic of many mattress constructions.

We appreciate that you disagreed with that assessment, and you were of course entitled to escalate the matter via the retailer. As you have stated, Argos/Sainsbury’s requested an independent inspection and ultimately chose to resolve the matter directly with you.

While we stand by the original technical guidance provided at the time, we respect the retailer’s final decision and are pleased that a resolution was reached.

We do not take feedback lightly and continuously review product performance and customer interactions to ensure we maintain both quality standards and clear communication.

Life Changing

I purchased a memory foam mattress after convincing my girlfriend we needed a new and improved one. She was somewhat attached to our old mattress because it was owned by her grandfather - this fact alone is a good enough reason to bid it farewell. My back was bad from sleeping poorly on a mattress that had probably seen both world wars. I’m 28 but felt 82. The new memory foam mattress arrived and I immediately fell in love with it. My sleep has improved dramatically and my back problems have disappeared! 13 out of 10. Thank you for saving my life.

The mattress is absolutely amazing, very comfortable, and such great value for the price. The customer service has been fantastic from start to finish as well.

Poor delivery planning, management and comms.

No comms prior to overnight delivery being announced by the courier (I have checked my junk folder, I didn't miss anything), I could not be in the next day, and the courier message was a short form text number not accepting replies. The Argos website said I couldn't rearrange delivery when I clicked on that option, one option was to refuse delivery but I spoke to a person and they cancelled for me there and then. I used the contact form on the Aspire website contact page to alert Aspire, with the order number from the courier's text, about cancelling. But next day the mattress just got left without any signature with a neighbour who doesn't even know my name. So the option suggested by the Argos website to cancel by refusing delivery would not have worked either. Aspire have now been in touch, and arranged collection at a mutually convenient time, but the comms need to be at the front end - many people cannot simply be told when a large item is arriving, it needs to be planned at least a few days in advance.

To clarify, when orders are placed via Argos, delivery arrangements and initial communications are often triggered automatically through the courier network once the order is released for fulfilment. It is clear that the cancellation request was not intercepted in time before dispatch, which has understandably caused inconvenience.

You are absolutely right to question the delivery handling. If a delivery is marked as requiring someone to be present, it should not simply be left with a neighbour without proper authorisation. We will be raising this directly with the courier, as leaving a large item such as a mattress with a recently moved-in neighbour — particularly without signature confirmation — is not acceptable and does not reflect the standard we expect.

With regard to collection, we will of course arrange this as a priority and work with you to agree a convenient date and time window so that you are not left waiting unnecessarily. We have reached out to you and left a voice message for you to call us back.

Please could you contact us directly so we can expedite the collection and ensure this is resolved promptly.

Again, I apologise for the frustration caused. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and will ensure it is properly addressed.
