I WOULD strongly advise giving this…
I WOULD strongly advise giving this company a WIDE BIRTH. I was told that the panels would sit on SWAN NECK BRACKETS ontop of my roof. I came home to find a gang of workmen had removed 80 percent of the tiles on one side of my roof. It was then explained that for some reason their computer said that the panels plus snow would be too heavy for the beams in my roof so it had to have a "light weight" system which required the removal of tiles and replacing that with a plastic membrane. I was not happy about that, but it was that or not having them. I now think i made the wrong decision having the panels. Anyway, they did the job and put as many panels as possible, they were badly placed and hanging of the edge of the roof, so i complained. ended up talking to one of the CEO's who has now left, but he was very rude to me. Eventually they sent another group of workmen who agreed that it was all wrong, they removed and replaced the panels correctly. And that was that. Except that for the last few years, and only since this was done, i have had birds not nesting in the roof. This is because the membranes leave some spaces between where the cables come though and cheeky birds can push their way into the roof under the panels. I now have some money and want to board out my attic, so approached them asking of they could come and put bird protection on the solar panels. I was told when they fitted them that they were responsible for maintenance of the roof and panels and that i was not to have other people touch them. So i went to them, and they are now sending me letters that sound like they are from a legal firm denying any responsibility for the birds and saying they dont offer a bird protection. A very unfriendly company who will sell you but after will do nothing for you what so ever. They have caused me huge stress and if damage happens as a consequence of water getting into the roof i could have tens of thousands of pounds of expense because i allowed them onto my roof. I would AVOID this company at all costs. Cowboys with LAWYERS a bad combination.

The case handler who dealt with your query is very highly regarded (as you will see from previous reviews on here) and is profoundly sorry we did not meet your expectations on this occasion.
The information supplied was in accordance with everything that was requested from the buyers Solicitor and included answers to several questions, CML compliance letter, various Certificates and a dedicated and well-respected case handler who remains on hand until your transaction is complete, should anything further be required.
A Shade Greener Maintenance are not obligated to provide this service, but we understand the importance for such a service and have recognised the need to assist with the smooth transition of every/any property transaction if required.
As with all businesses, there is a need to charge for this service in order to cover the cost of the provision, but the fee is minimal and far less than an hour’s time from a Solicitor and believe the majority of Landlord’s are grateful for this service.
