A collection of Mod influenced menswear including slim fit button down shirts and knitwear inspired by the sixties. In 1996 East London Mods Alex Banks and Christopher Lord formed the Art Gallery DJ Collective – featuring Lady Michelle, Flaz, Cess and Graeme Very – to spin a mix of 60’s Soul, Beat, Jazz and Psych. Art Gallery launched their first club night The Beat Bubble Ball on December 22nd 1996 at The Clinic in China Town followed in 1997 by a stint guesting at Paul Hallam’s Popcorn night at the 100 Club on Oxford Street. For the next five years Art Gallery ran the now-legendary Lordy Lord! – a club famous for its soulful tunes. The nights we’re hot, sweaty and packed to the rafters. Art Gallery launched their clothing range next. The rest is history.

Not as smooth as expected..
Overall, a disappointing first venture into this company.
I tried several times to purchase an item but the website let me down, when coming to pay via PayPal.
I eventually was able complete a transaction after several attempts.

One of the items I ordered had what looked like an oily stain on the front of it, quite big and hard to miss so I'm surprised it passed a quality check. Rather than faff about returning it I thought I'd see if I could wash it out, which I was able to do so it looks fine now. Other than that everything else was tip top.

Thanks for the feedback Andrew, sorry to read a knitwear piece has slipped through QC & i have missed the stain when packing your order too, apologies, i pride myself on spotting these sort of things on the rare occasion they happen, so annoyed with myself i missed this. Have not received the order as of yet as only placed it a while ago .......on making the purchase I was shocked that at the payment point 15.00 was added on for V.A.T.so what I thought was a decent price for the item had to add nearly 20.00 on top for deliverey and VAT as it is a gift and wanted I purchased it but this is the first and last time ......
