Item is now 3 weeks late - no customer contact
Item is now 3 weeks late, no sight of it yet. They claim to be coming from Melbourne but the item is actually sent from mainland China.
No response from seller, only that "they wish they could hand deliver items, and 'sorry'"
If it ever turns up I'm worried what I'll actually receive!

ABSOLUTELY SCAMMED
ABSOLUTELY SCAMMED! CHINESE COMPANY. STAY AWAY!!!
STAY AWAY from this company
For the love of god STAY AWAY from this company. It’s a Chinese scam company. After spending $100 on a dress thinking it’s a Melbourne company, a disgusting poor quality dress that was nothing like the photo arrived. I then checked them out only to find the clothes on their website are found on the Chinese company SHEIN. Same items with same photos and same models. The same pants on shein was $15 and in Armoire Melbourne was $75. Their products are not genuine but a subsidiary of SHEIN at an exorbitant price because they use Melbourne to fool buyers. Then they don’t respond to your complaints. No phone, no address and no ABN number.
I Reported them to ACCC and scam Watch. The more people report hopefully they shut down this scam site.
Read lots of reviews afterwards with people scammed who tried to return their items to an address in china and received no refunds back.
Returned goods next day, did not get refund
Bought a jacket, but the size does not fit, because they’re not Aussie sizes (their website did not state that). I returned it the next day, they didn’t provide return label and asked me to cover the postage cost first, promised to reimburse me after.
So I had to paid $50 to send it back to China (yes their name says Melbourne but good were sent from China and you have to pay for overseas shipping if you need to return). Anyway I did not hear from after I gave them the tracking number, about 5 weeks later I got a text from Aust Post saying my return parcel arrived in China waiting for Custom’s clearance, I then emailed Armoire, no response, I raised a dispute, this time someone replied saying they can’t get any info off the tracking number, I contact Aust Post, was told that Armoire in China need to contact Custom to get the parcel released, so I emails them again, and again no response, I’ve had enough, and therefore decide to write this review. Not only did I lose money for the price of the jacket, but the expensive overseas shipping cost as well.
I bought a lot of things online, this is by far the worst merchant I’ve come across.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. My experience is the same as many others on this site. I ordered what was supposed to be 2 cashmere jumpers and eventually received 2 misshapen polyester pullovers I wouldn’t be seen dead in. You need a PhD in physics to navigate your way around the returns policy just to find a return address. Paid $37 to return the items to China and, 4 months later, Armoire Melbourne claims they have either not received the goods or they’re held up in Customs.
Scam - stay away
I agree with a previous reviewer, this company is a total scam. They are not based in Melbourne but are in China. The sneakers I received from them were cheaply made and were not packaged or in a box, so were consequently crushed in the post.
After contacting the company and finally hearing back from them with a return address in China, in good faith, I returned the sneakers, paying for shipping to China. This was over two months ago and I still have not received a refund, even though I have sent Sea (the company’s Australian representative) a copy of the Australia Post receipt of delivery.
I have reported this company, as it is taking advantage of customers and it appears to be a scam. I strongly recommend staying away from it as the goods are cheap and they do not honour there refund policy.
I purchased a dress from this store
I purchased a dress from this store. It is not a Melbourne based business as the site leads you to believe. They ship from China, full scam and totally misleading. The dress looked nothing like the images, it even had a cut out hole of the side, which was not in the image online. I immediately requested a refund as per the policy. I received an email from 'Sea' saying I can keep and receive a 25% refund or send a parcel back to China at my expense for a full refund. I paid $35.00 to ship. It arrived as I received the return receipt. I sent multiple emails requesting my refund to which 2 months later I am still waiting. This company is a complete scan. Stay away. They use poor quality material and they do not follow their refund policy.
More info on returned clothing
Hi folks. I got assistance from the P.O. after my returned goods (at my expense) were left sitting in Chinese Customs for over 1 month. I emailed 'Sea' to call them (provided phone no & email) to collect the goods. 'Sea' responded if I wanted to go ahead with the refund after deducting 80% import 'tax' from my refund leaving $25.00. I said yes, send me the $25. Strange it never turned up. PS PayPal knocked back my claim as that needs to be done within 30 days.
False advertising, and no refund given as promised
I ordered the Autumn Retro Sweater.
It is advertised as being made of wool. It is not wool! It is very cheap polyester. I contacted Armoire Returns and was told to post it back to China (at my expense), and then I would receive a full refund. I posted it back. It has arrived in China. No response received from the company. I have repeatedly emailed someone called Sea. Now, no response, and no respect shown to me- the customer.
This company is ripping people off, and should be brought to justice.
Fraud brand
It’s a fraud brand. I ordered linen pants and they shipped me polyester pants (that too with a lot of coordination to retrieve my package). They ship from China (using Yanwen as a carrier) and barely provide updates. They masquerade as a Melbourne brand but they are Chinese originally I suspect.
Terrible experince
Terrible experince, cheap quality clothing from China, passed off as a company in Melbourne, there must be a law against this.
If I want to return the item, i have to pay for return costs to China
I will be disputing this with my bank
dont buy from them at all
SCAM!!
SCAM!!! SH!!/T PRODUCT.
No mincing of words here, you get what you pay for, should have learnt, I’m old enough.😎👍
This is not a Melbourne based shop, it's a scam
This is not a Melbourne based shop. It's a scamy website charging a lot of money for cheap Chinese clothing you can buy on Temu for few dollars. Stay away, do not order.

Would give it a no star rating if I could. Absolute total scam company. Trying to get a refund. Useless! No response to several emails. Descriptions and size guides do not match the actual product (which is the aim in my opinion - you buy under false info and can never get your money back. ) DO NOT BUY FROM THIS WEBSITE.
I finally received my refund for the…
I finally received my refund for the felt sack they sent to me which was supposed to be quality Italian wool jacket. Arrived all crushed up and was a shapeless sack made of felt. They said they would refund if I returned it but $37 for postage didn’t seem like a good idea when no guarantee they would do the right thing. I lodged a dispute with PayPal and told them they were operating illegally with false and misleading information, I’ve just received full refund without returning it. It’s now going in the bin.
Scam
Scam, it is not even Melbourne - China! The product is absolute rubbish! I ordered one and was charged for two which I was sent. They are stringing correspondence and refund process out and want a photo of what's wrong before considering the refund process.
DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY
I ordered a dress. I have not received it. Proof of delivery picture is a random parcel to someone else. The courier company agreed the parcel was not delivered. Armoire Melbourne is not to be trusted & will not give refund or re-send a dress.
25/9/24 I believe due to my bad review, they relented & sent a replacement dress. However be warned - it was NOT the Italian dress they claimed when I purchased. It is a cheap Chinese dress with no labels at all. So I overpaid for a Shein/Temu type dress. Fool me once!
Dress arrived...but
Dress arrived on time but did not look like dress in in picture. Tried to exercise the stated refund policy. .has not happened...a small amount of interaction initially has fizzled out to no reply at all and no refund. Do not use this operator.
One star is too generous
One star is too generous, scammers, cheap garments, not in Melbourne , sent via overseas , cheap nasty and can't be contacted for a return
