Problems signing up to the storage…

Problems signing up to the storage sight does not recognise my phone which I opened account only my partners and tells me that a message has been sent to confirm my phone but nothing there so have abandoned that plan

If this option is not working, you can choose “Try Another Verification Method” and select your email. A one‑time passcode will then be sent to the email address associated with your Arlo account, which you can use to complete the login process.

Extremely disappointing experience and some of the worst customer service I’ve encountered.

I first contacted Arlo on 03/03 after my garden camera stopped working. I spent an hour on the phone, and by the end of the call they confirmed they would send a replacement camera. I thought the issue was resolved — unfortunately, it wasn’t.

From 13/03 onwards, they repeatedly emailed me asking the same questions I had already answered over the phone. They then backtracked on their promise to replace the faulty camera and refused to take responsibility for the defective equipment. Instead, I was sent a stream of repetitive emails clearly designed to delay and avoid honouring their commitment.

If you enjoy circular conversations, broken promises, and the thrill of being asked the same question multiple times, Arlo is the company for you.
If you prefer working equipment and basic professionalism, you may want to explore other camera brands.

UPDATE: one day after posting my review they agreed to send me new camera.

Restored my faith in service

Restored my faith in service, I had an issue and it was quickly resolved with replacement units.

Whilst the communication was good and always next day at the latest - some of it felt a little In personal and didn’t always answer the question as asked - just moving to to next stage of the process.

Overall Arlo retained me as a happy Customer

I had a really great experience with technical service

I had a really great experience with this company. The products are high quality and exactly as described, and the attention to detail really shows. Delightful experience

Very impressed with their customer services. I wanted to remove devices from an old account, the lady over the phone was very patient and helped me all the way, she even sent a check up email afterwards to make sure everything is working fine!

App experience and produce great. Everyone’s all uppity about requiring a paid subscription. People need to understand that storing huge amounts of data in a cloud environment costs money.

I am very pleased with the camera…

I am very pleased with the camera doorbell and camera to the rear.
However, the doorbell only rings on my phone so if phone not near me I don’t if anyone is there. Plus I would like to take the alerts of the doorbell and have it just activate when it is rung but there does not seem to be that option.

To receive an alert when a visitor presses your Video Doorbell, in addition to the SIP call, you have a couple of options:

1. You can connect the Video Doorbell to an Arlo Chime 2 (sold separately), which is designed for indoor use. Each time someone presses your Video Doorbell, the Arlo Chime 2 will play a melody.

2. Alternatively, you can hardwire your Video Doorbell to an existing mechanical or digital chime with a voltage of 8–24V AC. This setup will both trickle‑charge the doorbell’s battery and ring your existing chime whenever the doorbell is pressed.
