Extremely unprofessional and disappointing experience
I have been dealing with Arden University for over a month and a half, and it has been one of the most frustrating experiences I’ve ever had. Despite providing every document and official letter they requested including a signed, stamped letter from my accountant they kept delaying my registration without giving any clear reason.
Each time I met their requirements, they came up with another excuse. Because of their slow and unprofessional handling, my registration was delayed for months, wasting both my time and effort. Communication was poor, inconsistent, and showed no real intention to help or resolve the issue.
I honestly expected a professional and supportive university, but instead I was met with endless bureaucracy and a complete lack of accountability. I would not recommend this university to anyone who values their time and expects basic professionalism.

Lash has been very helpful despite my situation. Although student support are busy, she has found the time to help me with my personal circumstances and she has been helpful over the phone too. I really appreciate her support.
my success coach Joan
my success coach Joan , has been very supportive, understanding ,very empowering , knowledgeable and has helped me see the strength in me and be aware of my own judgements, with just a few sessions, I have been so alive, I discovered traits and parts of me that I didn't think of , she has helped alot and wanted to say thank to her , I am able to take things one step of a time and actually use reflective methods on my self to help to become better each day.
Zainab/Lash/Joyce/Clay
An amazing team, very friendly and happy to help. Each time I visited student desk with any problems. I had been facing throughout the academic year from advise on submissions, encouraged me to engage and really emphasise how much determination future. Each staff was uniquely able to help me minimise and solves issues that would’ve thus hampered education.
Without their guidance I would be in a much worse situation.
The warmth and empathy provided by these each individuals colleague overwhelming

Avoid this university,not good
University always accusing students of using Ai,and eventually marking your work and showing you passed it , when you think they have resolved the problem, you get blocked from accessing your portal without warning and also get blocked from accessing your results.without any notice.so annoying.

Bad teaching
Bad teaching. Bad university and services when needing help. Take my advice, if you have an option to go to another university then go there because many good universities dont consider Arden university's qualification as anything or just considers it really low.

Waiting too long for my final results
I am very disappointed with this University. I submitted my final 2 modules for my 1st year on July 14th and July 16th 2025. It is now October 21st 2025 as I am writing this and I am still waiting for my final two module results.
I had 6 modules. I passed 2 modules and I failed 2 modules that I need to retake. I currently have 40 credits. The final 2 modules, I received 2 provisional results telling me that I have passed both modules. I 1st saw these 2 provisional results in August 2025. With 80 credits, I can continue with my studies and retake the 2 modules I failed in the new academic year.
I have now been told via email that I will have to wait until November 24th 2025 just to see my final results. And without 80 credits or more, I can't continue to the next year. I was told that I would receive my final two module results in middle to late October 2025.
But the problem is I have already gotten the final 2 provisional results telling me that I passed both the 2 final modules that would take me to 80 credits. This is annoying because it shouldn't take 4 months for me to get my final 2 results.
I want to be able to enrol for my 2nd year asap and sort out my student finance as soon as possible in time as my 2nd year course which is due to start on December 1st 2025.
This is a joke that I have to wait a whole 4 months. I even told them that I would like to retake the 2 modules that I failed before the start of the new academic year. Not good
Online MSc Psychology-not recommended
I’ll start by stating that I got from this course what I set out to achieve and now have an MSc in Psychology. However, after almost two years with Arden, I do not feel able to recommend this course to others unfortunately.
The course did not feel structured for part time learners despite it being advertised as such. I felt that the course actually required far more hours per week than the 20 hours suggested in the course material. Realistically, each module required you to start on the assignment within the first three weeks. This then required me to work on the assignment whilst simultaneously studying the course material and attempting wider reading. In later modules, I only studied those elements of the modules which directly related to the assignment. This was a self-perseveration exercise as I could not possibly find the time to do both. This strategy actually provided me with the highest mark I would receive for a module.
The initial module is called Research Methods and I can only describe that module as both extremely poorly structured and delivered. I imagine some students will encounter it and have such a negative experience that they will withdraw from the course. I barely scraped through it. It is a module with a highly statistical focus which is very difficult for learners who will have come to the course without having recent mathematical experience. I recall at one point I was working on a Saturday afternoon and attempting to navigate a programme called SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) by following a ‘step by step’ guide in the course materials. I reached a point where the material didn’t make sense and I couldn’t complete the calculation. I spent to the next THREE HOURS trying to detect my error. Later that week I found out that the instructional video in the module had been edited incorrectly, omitting the vital step which had caused me so much confusion. It was unbelievably frustrating to have my very limited time wasted in such a way.
Often, I found other universities online lectures or tutorial videos seemed far more in depth than those available in the Arden materials. It was always repeated by staff that when studying for a Masters, students are expected to develop their own learning. However, this often seemed an excuse for the limitations of the course which required far more work to be put in by students. I expected to lead my own learning from the base I would be given by the course. Rather, I felt that too often I had to create a foundation by filling in the gaps in much of the course material myself instead of independently developing higher level learning from a sound base.
Further, I felt the assignment feedback was highly subjective. In each module you are encouraged to submit a full or partial draft of your assignment prior to the deadline. This enables module tutors to provide feedback which you can use to develop your work. I ensured I submitted for formative feedback in every module. However, this seemed to have little to no impact upon the final grade. Often, the assignment was critiqued by the marker raising a number of points that were not highlighted at all in the formative feedback process. Likewise, often no mention was made of the developments to the work from the formative feedback process as being positive aspects of a submission. Each time I received feedback from the final submission I attempted to use that advice to develop my performance in the subsequent module. Again, this seemed to have little to no impact upon grades.
I expected my MSc with Arden to be hard work but an interesting and enjoyable process as well. Unfortunately, it seemed more like an ordeal to be survived when I hoped it would be much more.

The Power of answering the pbone
I phone this morning at 10:40am (student support) requesting help. The lady who answered the phone was very patient with me and gave me a bit of talking therapy. By the time we finish that call I felt much better than I was. I experience a health condition during an exam for the second time. She acted quickly and send me a link to the right department where I can get assistance. Thank you very much"

I was struggling with my account and Freddie from Leeds arden university support has helped me by checking my account making sure everything was up to date regarding my assignment's submissions and that has calmed my anxiety by getting the confirmation and step by step help
Helped with reaching IT department for an emergency on assignment due date
Had good assistance when I couldn't access my MFA because I lost my phone. On deadline day, Suganya was really helpful and prompt. Within 7mins, I accessed my ilearn and email account and was able to submit my assignment on time. Great work!
100% disappointed
I am disappointed with my experience at Arden University during my master’s studies. The student support has often responded slowly, and communication between departments can be confusing. There are several different platforms to check information, which makes it difficult to find key details about modules, deadlines, and assessments. The lack of a single, well-organised system causes unnecessary stress and confusion. I wish I had researched more before enrolling, as my experience has not met my expectations. I hope the university improves its organisation and support for future students; however, I wish I had chosen a different university.

More like a nursery not a uni
This uni is rubbish. The ilearn student hub is like a maze and hardly works. And you hand in work and they fail u even though you have done enough to pass. When u ask for the results to see how u failed they give u errors. Every time u call up to sort it out they make you wait months to sort out a simple thing. I recommend finding a different uni cos these man are clowns.
