Took money and ignored me, had to contact bank

I placed an order and they said it would be 2 weeks, after 4 weeks nothing arrived so i emailed them and they said it would be with me on the Thursday with DPD. Waited in and no delivery, sent them 3 email reminders and didnt get a single reply. Contacted my bank to get a refund, eventually the bank refunded me. Total waste of time, do not bother

Con Artists

Ordered four machines and received nothing. Repeated ignored calls, emails and eventually a month later got an email saying items had been delivered. Refused to provide tracking / delivery confirmation and still nothing received. Avoid at all costs Ive looked at other reviews and this seems to be how they operate - ripping off customers, taking money and delivering nothing!!!!

We are disappointed to read this review, as it does not accurately reflect the transaction or the extensive communication and support provided.

For clarity, this order related to six arcade machines, all of which were delivered and received. We have dealt with multiple individuals and businesses connected to this order over an extended period, which unfortunately appears to have contributed to confusion and inconsistent communication on your side.

We also provided onsite setup and training to your manager, Justin, at the time of installation. We are now informed that Justin has allegedly since left your company, which may explain why current representatives appear unaware of previous deliveries, installation work, and communications already completed.

At no stage did we “take money and deliver nothing.” The machines were delivered, installed, and demonstrated onsite.

We take customer service seriously and maintain records of correspondence, delivery arrangements, and onsite attendance. We would respectfully ask that the review is amended to reflect the factual position.

Faulty machine - Arranged to come fix - They Cancelled appointment and are now unreachable!

We purchased an AG Elite 2 Player Arcade Machine (order AG4736) from Arcade Geeks for £1,438.20 as our 9-year-old son’s main Christmas present.

Unfortunately the machine has not worked correctly since delivery. From the first use on Christmas Day the main power switch did not work (the back has to be opened to access a small internal switch among the wiring just to turn it on), many games will not load, and several games ask for coins despite the machine not having a coin slot installed.

Arcade Geeks initially arranged to attend on 18 January to fix the faults, however the appointment was cancelled due to a family emergency which we completely understood. Since then we have made multiple attempts to contact them by phone, email and message to rearrange, but have received no response.

It is now March and the machine has never worked properly, meaning our son has unfortunately not been able to use the arcade machine at all since Christmas Day.

We would simply like this matter resolved and a refund arranged for the faulty machine.

We are sorry to read this review, however it does not accurately reflect the outcome of this matter or the support provided.

Whilst our warranty is a Return to Base (RTB) warranty, we still arranged a goodwill onsite visit to assist and resolve the reported issues. During that visit, the machine was left in working order and all matters raised at the time were addressed.

The original appointment had to be postponed due to a genuine family emergency, which Martin was extremely understanding and respectful about throughout. We would also like to note that Natalie was always pleasant to deal with during communications.

Following the onsite visit, we had several conversations where we were advised the issues had been resolved and that this review would be removed or updated accordingly. Unfortunately this has not happened.

As a small family-run business, we always try to go above and beyond for our customers, including providing onsite assistance outside of our standard warranty terms where possible.

We respectfully ask for the review to be amended to reflect the full and factual history of the matter.

Purchased another machine from these guys... decided to go for the gun machine this time. Came a lot sooner than I thought it would. Dean delivered it and couldn't have been more helpful. Took.it down to my man cave for me and set it all up along with a demo of it. Kids absolutely love the machine... had plenty of fun nights with the lads round playing street fighter brings back great memories!

⭐ 3 Star -(Edited from 1 Star) Arcade Machine itself and Joe are Great Customer Comms are Really bad

edited on 17/04/2025 to Reflect Entire Experience
The day after I posted my original 1 Star review I had a call off Joe with an update on the machine I had ordered
Apparently it hadnt been sent out due to them not having the colour trim I had ordered however at no point was I informed of this.
Joe reassured me the machine would be sent out for the next week.
After some back and fore the machine was delivered around 2 weeks after the original date given.
The Arcade machine itself is great and works really well, there were a couple of buttons not working along with the marque light
Initially struggled to get a call with Joe to resolve the issues however Once Joe was engaged in resolving the issues he was great.
End outcome was replacement parts were sent out for the machine which I was happy to fit myself.

Overall Im bumping the review up to 3 Stars as the machine itself and Joe, when you can actually get him engaged, are great.
The customer communication however is a 1 star which is a shame as it seems like this can easily be fixed.

----original Review
I ordered an AG Elite Arcade Machine from this company on 17 January 2026 for my 50th birthday and paid £1,470.16 in full by credit card. I was told in writing on 4 February that delivery would take place on 18 February.

The delivery date came and went with no machine, no dispatch notification, and no explanation. Since then I have sent multiple emails requesting an update and received no response at all. I also tried calling their published phone number, which goes straight to answerphone. I left a message but again received no reply.

I have now had to raise a formal Section 75 dispute with my credit card provider to try to recover my money, which is not something anyone should have to do after paying a company in full.

I understand delays can happen, but completely ignoring a customer after taking payment is unacceptable. I would strongly advise others to be cautious before ordering.

Unfortunately writing this feedback...

Unfortunately writing this feedback in an attempt to get some form of update on an order placed in November, with no proof of delivery or response via email, website, or phone call despite over a month of chasing.

I will amend feedback once we get a proposed solution. For what is a significant value purchase, which has no evidence of being delivered, and no communication of where it currently is or what the proposed resolution is, I'll have to post a one star review.

The pre-sales and custom design process for the machine was smooth, agile and fairly quick, however it all means nothing if the machine is never delivered, has no proof of delivery (at least not to the correct address), and the customer needs to chase frequently for over month via multiple contact methods with no response. These are not standards that should be set by an organisation selling a premium product.

Look forward to hearing back from you on a resolution.

We are disappointed to read this review as it contains several factual inaccuracies.

For clarity, Connor was not the customer who completed the purchase. Connor initially made the enquiry on behalf of the company, however we subsequently dealt directly with Rachel and other representatives regarding the order, delivery, and installation arrangements.

The machine referenced in this review was delivered months ago and remains in the company’s possession. As such, statements suggesting the machine was “never delivered” or that there was “no evidence of delivery” are simply incorrect.

We appreciate that there may have been internal communication issues between members of your organisation, however this should not result in inaccurate public claims being made against our business.

We would respectfully ask that the review is amended to reflect the factual position, namely that the machine was delivered and received.

This is written out of desperation and…

Updated after original posting from 1 to 4 stars. For clarity, the product is great. It’s just that 2 out of 2 machines bought (one by me, one by my brother-in-law) didn’t work properly on receipt. However above all else it’s customer service/response to emails/answering the phone or responding to voicemail that’s been lacking until I got a bit stroppy last week. A big shout to Taylor who owned and solved the problem by sending a new board out Royal Mail Special Delivery after the first replacement seems to have been lost in Royal Mail’s system. There were far too many excuses about Royal Mail’s tracked 24 service actually being a 72 hour service etc. before this and it’s a bit too long and boring to go into but Taylor listened to my request and got me the missing board. Even this wasn’t right initially as my machine has no coin slot and this was set up to expect coins so I couldn’t play it. However, a bit of googling and YouTube viewing and I got myself up and running.

I think AG make a great product at a fair price but it’s let down by after-sales and lack of a truly professional support side. If it was me and I was AG, I’d be using a more reliable courier, not over-promising on delivery dates and making sure my email support (at least) was responsive and bug-free. Most customers want a problem owned without buck-passing which Taylor eventually did 👍🏼

Original 1-star review:

This is written out of desperation and I'll certainly amend it if Arcade Geeks actually do own their problem as Taylor has just indicated he would. I bought a machine in Nov 2024 and tested it on arrival. It wouldn't initially boot but a few power cycles and fresh attempts and it did. We were mid house move/refurbish, assumed the initial problem was just a blip and put the machine into storage in a dry, temperature-controlled unit in its substantial packing. Just before Christmas 2025 (our house being finished) I set the machine up for some festive fun and it wouldn't boot at all - nothing more than a corrupted splash screen. I messaged AG the week before Christmas who were seemingly off already for Christmas which is fair enough. Phone calls go to BT Callminder. After Christmas I had a reply to my message from Rod suggesting to call up and get this problem resolved and got an answer eventually after several answerphone messages which weren't responded to. Joe advised me to remove the control board (a small PC in a white box) and return it. I packed it up and sent it Special Delivery so they had it next day. A bit of chasing and they told me at the beginning of this week that the board was being collected on a 24hr service to be with me for Wednesday 14th January. I didn't get any tracking info and the board did not arrive. I have been chasing AG since by email and phone (frequently on BT Callminder) and have been told that the Tracked 24hr service is actually a 72hr service in Royal Mail's T&Cs and was told yesterday that I'd definitely have the board back by today. It appears that Royal Mail have lost it, according to AG. Each time I have spoken to someone I have asked them to ping me a quick email confirming what is happening and give me a tracking number. They have failed to do this three times. Since it hasn't arrived again with our postman today and I still have no tracking, I managed to get through to Taylor this morning who gave me a very long explanation of why the 24hr service isn't (maybe use a different courier then?) and how they have apparently been emailing and calling Royal Mail to locate my package, none of which has previously been communicated to me. Taylor has promised to dispatch a replacement (as apparently a lost parcel can't be dealt with by RM for 15 days?!) today by Royal Mail Special Delivery and for AG to drop it off themselves to their local post office, rather than for it to be batch-collected. He also promised to call me back at 3pm to update me as he says their email system isn't delivering messages properly. If the board turns up and works properly, I'll certainly update this review accordingly but, at the moment, I'd advise any potential customers to have a long think before spending several hundred pounds with this company. It's a shame - the product looks the part and, when it's working, is a good, solid console. I note the many other reviews on here where machines have had problems/missing/wrong spec parts and my own brother-in-law whose machine (bought at the same time as mine) was DOA and required a load of cables re-plugging and some user repair before it could be used. I want to be supportive of an enthusiast British company but I find it hard to continue being patient and pleasant when I seem to be repeatedly fobbed off or forgotten about. Please own this problem AG and get me a working machine so I can enjoy it, enthuse about it to others and maybe get you more customers!
