Aqua Shield Heating & Cooling Reviews 

I was recommended Aqua Shield when our heating would not work, with a baby in the house this was crucial. I contacted Aqua Shield who soon sorted me a call out visit asap (even though I was not a customer at this point). Alex came to our home and to our horror noticed Carbon Monoxide traces. Steps where taken to ensure we was still safe and means of Hot Water. Julian then visited us the next day to discuss our options, quotes etc. He was extremely friendly, same for the office staff (very reassuring and considerate) & Alex our engineer. Our boiler was then ordered and scheduled in as a priority. Alex came to install the new boiler, he was very professional in what he does & ensured everything was at a high standard and working before leaving. Thank you again to everyone at Aqua Sheild, you have really helped us! :)

I needed a new boiler fitting, after my old one packed up. They quickly got everything measured up, and a quote sent across. Everything was sorted to a high standard, and they were all very efficient and friendly!
Would definitely recommend Aquashield if you need a boiler or plumbing!

The survey for a new boiler was done by Julien who was extremely helpful with all the information we needed in deciding on the boiler that fitted our needs. Following a very competitive quote we decided to go ahead. Alex fitted the boiler to a high standard with no mess and fully explained how to use it and the wireless controller. We dealt with Mandie in the office who was most friendly and kept us informed every step of the way. All in all the service from Aquashield was second to none and we would have no hesitation in recommending them.

contacted Aqua Monday afternoon for a boiler co2 leak check which they solved straight away and was told I needed a new boiler spoke to mandie who was incredibly helpful and organised a boiler just a few hours later and an engineer Alex who back round 3 hours later and fitted a new boiler amazing service from the office staff and Alex was a great professional guy couldn’t of asked for better service from this company. Thank you guys would highly recommend these for anyone

My survey for a Daikin Air to Air Pump was booked in with the AquaShield Survey/Engineer Andy Wilson and he spent time and thoroughly checked my home to make sure what I wanted could be done. The quote I received was very reasonable but I had a couple of questions thinking about the future and adding to the system. The questions were quickly answered and the quote modified much to my satisfaction. The installation of my new Air Conditioning System.was booked with Alex & Craig. The installation went well and Alex and Craig were polite and professional moving furniture and carpets with care and my safety in mind (I’m partially disabled). They kept me in touch with what was happening and checked to make sure I was happy with everything. Any questions I had were answered allowing me to understand the use of air to air pumps for cooling and heating. When the project was completed my home was left clean and tidy with everything back in place and not a trace of rubbish. I’m so pleased with the installation I’m working on expanding the system using Alex and Craig from AquaShield again soon and recommend anyone thinking of investing Air to Air Heat Pump Heating/Cooling Systems to get in touch with AquaShield. Mandie will look after you and guide you through what they can do to help you with your project.

We had aquashield out to fix our boilers hot water issue, the engineer (belive was Craig sorry terrible with names!) Was extremely professional and thorough. He was clearly very well vetted and experienced as he found the fault within minutes and scheduled a repair to be done! Overall we were only without hot water for approximately 27 hours! Amazing service and very happy customer!

Booked a service on behalf of my Mum and Dad. Boiler is quite old and needed to get ready for winter and their usual plumber has now retired. Excellent service and my parents are happy. I have used before and now my parents will use for future work. Always friendly service and helpful.

For all these great reviews, consider the possibility that none of these happy customers may have needed a new boiler in the first place.

My usual boiler man was unavailable to provide my annual service this year, so I contacted Aqua Shield. On the face of it, it has great reviews, reasonable prices, and service with a smile... and I very nearly fell for it.

They were at my house for all of five minutes and said there was no way they could possibly service the boiler as it doesn't work properly.

The boiler is quite old, so it was perfectly feasible that it may be time for a new one, and I began the consultation process with Aqua Shield. However, as there had never been an issue before, I was quite reluctant, and when they started trying to sell me a £2,000+ boiler, I decided to get a second opinion.

Thankfully, my usual boiler man was available another couple of months later, and he serviced it just fine, with absolutely no issues. He agreed it was a little old, but nothing wrong with it at all.

Truly shameless upselling, exploiting working people who have no idea whether a new boiler is truly necessary or not.

My regular man charged me £80 for an annual service instead of thousands for a new boiler.

Edit for company response: Found this quite laughable, to be frank. It's like they put plausible deniability into ChatGPT.

- "We never push unnecessary replacements". You insisted that the only possible solution was a brand new £2,000 boiler, without even attempting to fix it. At no point did you suggest that a standard annual service, with a view to replacing the boiler in another 2-3 years, was a feasible option.

- "An older boiler may still operate, but that doesn't mean it's running optimally or safely". My usual man is a highly experienced, qualified expert, and I have no doubt my boiler is entirely safe. To imply that your staff know better, when they took one tiny glance and decided it's broken, is baffling.

- When we attend a paid for service and cannot complete the service, we always provide a full refund if no work has been carried out". First of all, I should think so too! If you haven't provided any service at all, of course you should issue a refund - that's hardly something to pat yourself on the back over! Secondly, you did not offer me a refund - I had to chase you for it and argue my case.

It's a shame I can't downgrade my review any further after this pathetic response that only reveals further inadequacies at Aqua Shield.

Aquashield installed a new boiler at my parents house, and I was so impressed with their friendly professional fitters and office staff. They gave 3 different boiler options with various ways to pay, and the prices were very competitive. Aquashield have now taken over the annual servicing of my own central heating. They came and carried out a thorough inspection and service of the system and I now pay monthly for ongoing service and emergency cover. I would recommend Aquashield to anyone without hesitation.

I was so pleased with the work carried out by Andy and Craig. I had my boiler serviced,new shower purchased and fitted and new radiators purchased and fitted. Fantastic work from start to finish.

We have had a new boiler fitted and switched from a tank to a combi. Excellent experience from start to finish. Everyone we’ve been in contact with, from the phone, to quote, to installation have been fantastic! Great customer service and so friendly. We’re so happy we contacted aqua shield after a recommendation from a work colleague. Very well priced and fantastic service, Craig and Alex were great and made no complaints, even in the 28* heat!! I recently had a boiler fitted by Alex and Carl, and I couldn't be happier with the service they provided. From start to finish, their professionalism and attention to detail were evident. They did an exceptional job, ensuring that everything was installed correctly and efficiently.

What stood out the most was how tidy they were. They took great care to protect my property, covering floors and furniture to prevent any damage or mess. Once the job was completed, they left the area spotless, which I greatly appreciated.

Their friendly and approachable manner made the entire process smooth and stress-free. They explained everything clearly and were happy to answer any questions I had.

Overall, Alex and Carl delivered top-notch service, and I would highly recommend them to anyone needing a boiler fitting. Thank you for your outstanding work!

Quality work could not fault them at all. Attention to detail even the office staff where lovely people. Respect for the home and caring. Sense of humour and personality. Highly recommended.

We have just had a new Combi boiler fitted by Aqua Shield. As a returning customer we cannot recommend this company enough. They have been exceptional from the initial survey to the installation.
The workmanship is brilliant. Craig the engineer is an asset to Aqua Shield, he worked to very high standards and was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Many thanks to all at Aqua Shield.

We came across this company following a Google.search. we requested a qoute online and they quickly contacted us to arrange a date. They arrived amd was very helpful explaining all the options and how it would work and fit etc. They then sent 3 quotes with the different prices options depending on the unit we wanted. Booked with a 25% deposit and 3 weeks layer They was here to fit. Very tidy fitters who protected the carpets and was very friendly keeping us updated during the instalation. Great workmanship so thank you. From the office staff through to the trades all the staff was friendly and helpful and we can recommend them enough. Used it in the bedroom and the bosch unit is so quiet amd gave us the best sleep ever. Highly recommend for the bedroom yes it's a luxury but one thats worth every penny.

It was a late night call out, Craig was very polite and said he would be long reaching the property. He turned up 10mins after calling him, he made sure my sister was ok after the original panic she was having. Took about 30mins or so to the issue and left. Was very happy with the service brilliant highly recommend

The fitters where friendly and courteous, and kept us updated at all stages.

Exceptional service from Aquashield.
I had a full air conditioning system installed.
The office staff were extremely friendly and approachable answering any questions fully.
All appointments were kept on time every time.
The installation guys worked hard and were very polite and friendly.
They protected all carpets and left the work areas very clean and tidy.
I am extremely pleased with the all round quality of service, if you need air conditioning or any other service they offer these guys will look after you, oh yes the air conditioning system is amazing to…..roll on summer!

My mum's boiler stopped working and she had no hot water/heating. I had a look online and picked out some local companies that I thought looked good, and by chance Aquashield was the first one on my list.

They managed to fit her in the same day and attended when they said they would. She had nothing but good words about the engineer who visited - very polite, professional and knowledgeable. He fixed the problem and also gave her advice.

She also mentioned the staff in the office on the phone were "lovely".

Overall an experience that couldn't have been better. Aquashield will be her (and my) go-to for any future boiler-related matters.
