Blanka was very helpful. Clarified very swiftly that Aptamil Pepti products (for cows milk intolerance) are manufactured using pork Trypsin enzyme to breakdown milk proteins but are not present in the final product. The normal baby and follow milk are not manufactured using pork enzymes.

I was introduced to Aptamil because it was the formula used at the hospital. Not sure why the NHS are promoting this brand. It is extremely expensive and it really messed up my baby. He had tummy aches which looked very painful, he was constantly crying. It also gave him constipation. I switched to the Aldi version which is half the price and it is much better. It mixes better with water and doesn’t cause pain and constipation. I think formula in general is poorly designed as well. It’s unrealistic to make when needed, especially if you need to boil the water and wait 30minutes. No hungry baby is going to be happy about this. I did try to make in advance and store in the fridge but this made the tummy aches even worse. The fact that you have to dispose of the milk in 1hr is ridiculous and a huge waste, especially since Aptamil are selling 6 ready made milks for £10.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Set up a subscription but then it wasn't showing on my account so had to set another one up. This one also never showed on my account. It tells me no subscriptions found. However aptamil keep taking money every 2 weeks and then telling me I need to cancel my subscriptions. I've told them for over a month that I cannot see any subscriptions and they told me the other week that all subscriptions have been cancelled but then they have taken more money for a subscription yesterday, and now they are
telling me that they cannot cancel my order and refund me even though it's their mistake.
