I got scammed like many others

I got scammed like many others. According to them I was approved, I paid my program fees of $95 immediately and then after over a month of being assured it was on the way they now said they couldn't open my account and are going to refund my money. Which I have to wait another month for! I have a feeling I will not receive this check at all.

Complete scam!!

Complete scam!!! I completed my application and was accepted. Paid my program fees waited the 10 to 14 business days for my card to come. Received the card yesterday. I went to go activate the card and it showed that I was denied. What a waste of time. How do you accept someone and say congratulations have them pay the fees. We have them wait for the cards and when they go to activate the card, you say unfortunately you were deny most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with in my 32 years of living. now I have to wait 30 days for me to receive an $80 check in the mail versus them putting in the back of my card didn’t take 30 days for me to pay my program.

Apply for the card pay the fees

Apply for the card pay the fees. The first time I called they said I should get it by the end of the week. The second time I called they said I would get it by Wednesday. The third time I called, which didn’t make sense. They said they would manually process it now I log going to check it. They’re going to refund my money of $95 to start the program. This is just a total scam and I see many other bad reviews do not apply for this card. They are bullshit. I feel they collecting people information to scam.

They just checked a bag off us for sure…

They just checked a bag off us for sure . Do the math . If 100k people sent 95 dollars in fees , they literally have millions in the fraudulent company . I hate that people that are on a fit income and disabled lost out on 95 dollars . Plus watch they never send the checks out. It don’t take 30 days to issue no refund. My best advice is to share on Facebook and social media for others not to do it and be scammed.

Absolute Scam

If I could give zero or negative stars, I would. They take your application fee and a program fee and hope you forget. Once you start calling them on their scam, they start blocking and stonewalling you. I had to threaten to get legal counsel and involve the BBB and FBI Scam reporting to get an answer. They are still holding my money. If I don't receive a check within the promised time, I'm looking at a class action lawsuit. I most sincerely hope no one ever tries to get a line of credit with them.

If I could give zero stars I would

If I could give zero stars I would. Do not give your money to these people. They are a fraud. I was approved paid 95 in fees 3 months later no card sent. Many calls to customer service and them lying to me saying they were just behind. I finally said if I didn't have my card this week I wanted a refund was promised it would be sent this week. I get on there today and checked the status and it said unable to approve my card... Mind you I was already approved and paid fees. They said I would get a refund by check after a 30 days before they send the actual check. They refused to refund me back onto the original payment method was usually takes 5 to 7 days. I tried to talk to supervisors never could get a hold of anyone All I kept hearing was in this case in this case in this case over and over again from the poor guy who probably didn't even know what to say. This company is a fraud. If you do get a card from them I don't know how that works cuz I never got that far. Please don't use this company I am on a fixed income I'm disabled and they still took advantage of me they did not care so why it takes 30 days before they even mail the check I don't even know It's ridiculous It makes no sense I'm calling a lawyer to ask them about this this company needs to be shut down.

Horrible experience

Horrible experience. This is a complete SCAM. Paid the activation fees waited 2 months for the card. Took another month to activate the card. Tried to use it and it wouldn't work. Called and was told my application was declined and would get a refund of fees. This company should be investigated and shut down.

DO NOT SIGN UP

DO NOT SIGN UP. Filled out the application, paid all fees, then waited a month with no card. Called customer service and was told my card was on a list to be shipped out within a week. Log in to see a message saying they were not able to activate my account so they are sending me a check in the mail that will take 31 days to get here. Scum of a company.

This company took my.money for set up and program fee cost. Told me I was being impatient while waiting for my card. They then said I was no longer eligible but said they would have send me a check for the 95 bucks I spent. I guess because I kept chatting and calling them.

I would strongly caution anyone considering applying for the Reserve by DirectCard credit card.

I applied for this card on April 29 after being approved. Like anyone else, I expected to receive my card within a reasonable amount of time. Instead, I spent over two months waiting while my account continued to show that my application was “being processed.”

During that entire time:

* I never received the credit card.
* I never received any meaningful updates.
* There was no explanation for the delay.
* Customer service never resolved the issue.
* My application remained in limbo for months.

Then, without warning, I logged into my account and saw a message stating that they were unable to open and activate my account and would instead refund the $95 they charged me ($35 application fee and $60 program fee).

To make matters worse, they informed me that I now have to wait approximately another 30 days before they will even mail the refund check.

So let’s recap:

* They accepted my money immediately.
* They approved my application.
* They never mailed my credit card.
* They kept me waiting for months.
* They canceled everything without explanation.
* Now they’re making me wait even longer just to get my own money back.

After experiencing this, I searched online to see if anyone else had gone through the same thing. I was shocked to find numerous reviews describing almost the exact same experience—people being approved, paying the required fees, never receiving a card, waiting for months, and then eventually being told they would receive a refund instead.

That pattern is extremely concerning.

Consumers should not have to pay upfront fees only to spend months waiting for a card that never arrives. If a company cannot provide the product it promises, it should issue an immediate refund—not place customers on another waiting period.

This entire experience has been frustrating, disappointing, and a complete waste of time.

I cannot recommend this company to anyone. There are many legitimate credit card companies that do not require large upfront fees and actually deliver the cards they approve.

I hope my experience helps someone else avoid going through what I did.

Application Date: April 29
Card Received: Never
Fees Paid: $95 ($35 application fee + $60 program fee)
Current Status: Account canceled, refund pending after an additional 30-day hold.

My advice: Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere. And report this company to the BBB..

This company is bad news they’re full of it. They’re liars and their thieves.

This company is full of it. They when you fill out the application you are approved right away, but they want you to pay the fees upfront before they do anything else. They said that they would get back to me in 15 Calendar days. It’s been 14 days I log on and I couldn’t get into my account because they locked me out and they are giving me my $70 back saying that I was not approved but when I signed up, I was approved so they’re full of shit excuse as my French this company is bad news. They should not even be open the emails to helpdirectcard.com does not work. The phone number does not work so they’re scamming people they need to be shut down.
