The most unprofessional and out of order service I have ever come across
I have to apologize that I have had to come to you with this complaint however the level of service I have received earlier on today is completely and utterly un-acceptable.
I am a branch manager in a retail store which is on the same retail park as your Cannock Apollo2000 store.
I moved house in the last few weeks and understandably I am in need of additional electrical appliances, with Apollo2000 being on the same retail park, it makes sense for me to visit this store and look at what appliances are on offer.
Currently I am looking at sound bars, as you know there is an extensive range of these and they vary in price quite considerably. It is taking me some time now to make my mind up in terms of which bar to go for and to make sure I make the right decision. I have been to competitors to look at their products and to compare price, but with Apollo2000 being right by my work place I have probably visited there more than any other, again because I want to make the right decision.
On my visit there today after finally concluding the model I think I want (Samsung HW-H750) I wanted to see how the price compared to Curry’s and again to try out the product and other ones that could compare (I am unsure whether or not to splash out and go for the SONOS one @ £1198)
My question was “Do you price match?” after the lady looking into it she advised me that yours was priced up wrong and should be £449 as per Curry’s price and not £499 as per the ticket. I left the branch again as I am still not 100% sure which model to go for and which retailer is best to buy from.
On my return back from the store your Sales Manager (not sure what his name was) was in my store complaining and asking for Head Offices number. I am not sure why he wanted this. After asking why he was very very rude and complaining with the amount of time I was spending in the shop and that I am wasting all of their time and never ever go back again unless I am willing to buy something!!!!!! I could not believe it. I do not understand why he was saying this? Surly there is no rule as to how often I can attend a shop, especially if it is I am considering buying something and potentially lots more for my new house!!! He said “you wouldn’t like it if I just kept coming into your store wasting time”.
I am sure you will agree this as a sales manager is not the attitude to have. I am a branch manager in retail myself and deal with big purchases and if I heard one of my sales people, let alone the sales manager, talk like this to a customers I would not be happy in the slightest!
Yes I work on the same retail park; however I am a customer and a customer that is in the market for buying electricals for my new home. Not someone who is just wasting time, I am just someone trying to make the right decision, even if I was ‘wasting time’ he is not in a position to make that assumption.
I just cannot believe that whilst I was looking at the items he has the mind to come in to my work place and ask for head offices number to complain!
A lot of people I know shop at Apollo2000 however I certainly will be advising them not to, I will be taking my business elsewhere. I was considering spending a lot as in the next few weeks I was looking at buying all my kitchen appliances from there with me having a new kitchen. If this is the level of service I am going to receive and my business not being appreciated I don’t want to spend my money with your company.
I would appreciate it if you could get back to me on this matter and advise me what has been done to solve this issue with the Sales Manager in the Cannock Branch.

Very efficient service
Very fast delivery of my order for a 55" TV, no complaints there. Only one problem: some of the contents inside the box had condensation on them, so it may have been stored in a very low temperature environment at some point and that was a worry.This may have been during transportation and beyond the company's control, but it was still a cause for concern and that's why I can't give five stars. Otherwise, I had no problems: the TV appears unaffected and performs beautifully.

Bought a Sonus Sub with the recent promotion and opted for free delivery asap. Followed up with an email asking if Apollo could confirm delivery 31/12 as I wanted it for a New Years Eve party. Received a phone call, the lady I spoke to confirmed it would be delivered 31/12 but offered to send it a day early so I could have piece of mind (and a chance to play with it!).
Much appreciated, arrived on time, great product, great service, would by from them again.

I saw this site on Hot UK Deals and decided to order a SONOS Play 1 Speaker. It was a a very easy website to use and what an excellent service provided by this company. They said the item would arrive on 31st Dec 2014 and it actually arrived on Monday 29th Dec 2014.

Good range of products on the Apollo Direct website with very competitive prices. The purchasing experience couldn't have been simpler with a range of dates for delivery. Information flow was ample and clear.

I used Appollo after a disastrous experience buying a fridge freezer from a national company. This is possibly the easiest and most efficient purchase of a 'white goods' product I have made. Courteous and professional staff both on the phone prior to delivery with a query and on delivery.
The only way this could have been improved would have been a full unpack and install and removal of packing material. I will definitely recommend Appollo in future.
Beko-DCU8230W condenser dryer
Very good service. The initial delivery was for the 27th Dec and I got the dryer delivered on Xmas eve. Text message notification which said the time and date of delivery is just excellent.The product itself ( however I have only tried it once) works fine. Lots of drying options, very easy to use and I am impressed with drying load and quality of this product.

The Apollo delivery men brought the washing machine into my hall and removed the packaging from three sides to show the me it was in good condition. Then got me to sign to say the machine was delivered in good condition. After they left I removed the packaging from the fourth side and found the big dent. Coincidence? Hmmm...
Anyway the machine works fine and apart from the dent I like it.
