A Masterclass in Passing the Banana
I ordered a subscription through Amazon, but the first delivery contained the wrong product. Amazon initially advised that a replacement could not be issued. After persistent follow-up, I was told they would contact Ape Nutrition and arrange for a replacement to be dispatched within 24 hours.
Several days passed with no delivery, so I contacted Ape Nutrition directly. Unfortunately, they appeared sceptical of what I had been told by Amazon and requested proof, which I was unable to provide as the communication had taken place via Amazon’s online chat.
I subsequently contacted Amazon again, who resolved the issue by issuing a refund along with a gift voucher to cover the difference in price. I then had to reorder the product myself again as a one-off purchase. I informed Ape Nutrition of this outcome and shared my feedback that the experience had been disappointing, noting that customers should not be required to manage extensive back-and-forth simply to receive the product they originally ordered. Regrettably, I received no response.
For a company called Ape Nutrition, I was surprised to find myself doing all the climbing, problem-solving, and banana-peeling - while customer service appeared to be nowhere in sight. Overall, while the product itself may be satisfactory, the customer service experience leaves significant room for improvement.

I love this product I ordered the Madagascan vanilla and mixed with a little honey it tastes great.
I feel better and seems to have more energy and less aches.
I don't understand some of the other reviews I've had no problems with it and will definitely carry on using it.
Great tasting, good quality protein
Great tasting, clean protein.
I’ve been using Ape Nutrition’s beef protein in the cacao, maple & sea salt flavour and it’s genuinely one of the better proteins I’ve tried. Mixes well, sits easily on the stomach, and doesn’t have that artificial sweetness you get with a lot of powders. Tastes natural, slightly rich without being heavy, and works perfectly post-training or as a quick top-up during the day. Big fan of the ingredient quality too — you can tell it’s been done properly
Not a good flavour
Ordered their beef protein powder but was disappointed by the flavour. Doesn’t mix easily. Won’t be reordering.

Sadly the product tastes truly awful
Sadly the product tastes truly awful. Please avoid at all costs. Highly overpriced as well.
Won’t be ordering again!
They tried to delete my review, but for each one they delete I’ll add two more.
Sad company!

Poor communication. Wrong orders sent 3 times.
I ordered my first bag of protein powder and sent the wrong one, after 3 emails they are still sending the same powder and charging me £23 over per order. Subscription cancelled.

Reliable good quality products
Good quality products, carefully sourced. Have been taking the collagen powder for over a year. It suits me well, no bloating etc. Easy to mix in drinks, has no noticeable smell or flavour. Wanted a trustworthy organic ethical product and this fits the bill.
Good customer service. I now buy on subscription, and have added other products, switched my orders around as required without problem.
Ape Collagen
On my second pack of collagen, I'm starting to notice changes in my skin so far. I also take the beef protein, which I enjoy and have no issues with bloating.
Maple and cacao protein…
I’ve bought the maple and cacao protein powder a few times now occasionally adding a scoop of it to my hot milk as I make a coffee. Noticed a real difference - no noticeable beef taste or after taste. I’ve just ordered a top up and some colostrum, so will post an updated review once received. No issues with shipping before.

Surprised by some of the reviews
Surprised by some of the reviews on here so posting mine.
Just ordered collagen and optimised male for other half. I’ve been using the cacao and maple protein powder with no issues and I actually really like it.it also lasts months. My other half was taking beef organs and with a physical job he felt they made a huge difference we just fancied a change up.
I’m hoping the collagen is ok for me as I do seem sensitive to it after using hunter and gather. Fingers crossed.

Quality
We have been incorporating the maple cacao protein powder and colostrum and collagen from this company. At 67 and 58 there is a marked difference in our muscle tone after workouts. We were vegetarians for 15 years but felt something was missing. This is it! Thank you

Good for lactose intolerance
Love the grass fed beef protein powder. I add oat milk, a banana, and a little xantham powder and get a thick creamy shake, great for after the gym. And with me being lactose intolerant i get no adverse stomach effects. Also loving the Cordyceps mushrooms. It's very expensive but it is quality.

Customer service
Customer service. They shipped to me allegedly with 24 hour service. On 27th September. But the parcel still hasn’t arrived, the tracking hasn’t budged since that day. The only thing i get from their customer service people is “we’re raising the matter with royal mail, please be patient.”
After a week the parcel’s clearly lost. Won’t be ordering from ape again, if this is what “service” looks like.

I am addicted to the beef protein…
I am addicted to the beef protein powder in shot form with water! No joke! It like a roast dinner every day without all the prep work!
I have been a vegetarian for 7 years through choice due to animal cruelty & everything that comes with it within the global food chain! By this I mean nothing natural and absolute animal abuse.
I fell pregnant at 45 with my 4th child and iron levels were low. I felt weak, tired and defeated. I started taking prescription meds, then gave into my demons & started eating meat! The meds were not enough! I felt no relief just guilt for giving in. I had to continue on until the final trimester but knew there was no way I could eat meat the ancient way after the baby was born. That’s when I discovered Ape Nutrition! Oh my word! The protein powder alone gave me all the craving I needed! I wish I’d known whilst being pregnant this would have saved me! It’s not vegetarian I know but neither was I for most of my life! It’s given me the. Fix I need without the guilt of feeding of an ill treated animal pumped with hormones that no one needs!
I now also take the Beef Spleen , Optimised Female, Collegian Powder & the Celtic Oysters and I feel amazing everyday! I cannot recommend these products enough! Totally real, totally organic, cruelty free and so tasty! I’ll also add highly addictive!
APE…, be proud to be the best around!
Finally, real nutrition we can all truly absorb and benefit from 👍

This company is a scam
This company is a scam. They don’t post real reviews on their website. I ordered the maple protein and it is the most vile, disgusting protein I have ever tasted. It takes like beef and smells like beef. I gag when I try to drink it. But on their website it’s raving reviews. I added my honest review and it hasn’t been posted. Avoid at all costs.

Cacao and maple protein powder
Cacao and maple protein powder does taste great with honey, tried for 7 days to ensure it’s definitely this product that is giving me bloating and stomach issues, unfortunately it is this product

Love the company ethos and the research they share. Bought the vanilla protein. It stinks…but it tastes so good. It’s the best tasting protein I’ve tried. It is quality. This is without doubt going to be my preferred protein from now on. I’m hoping to try some more products of theirs if I can afford it.
