Our go to moving company!

This was the second time we have used ANQ Movers, after using them to move house a few years ago, and we were just as pleased with our experience this time. Communication is fast and clear, and the team were very understanding of our last minute additions. They even added a last minute extra stop on the trip to pick up a bookcase from a friend which would be coming to my new house for a very affordable price. The movers on the day were all polite, worked very fast and were careful with our items, including dismantling and putting them back together where necessary.
I'll certainly be reaching out to ANQ Movers again in the future should I require any moving services.

I recently moved from London to Leeds

I recently moved from London to Leeds. It took me a while to decide a moving company because moving a 4 bedroom property including packing , especially when the parking is a bit tricky is not an easy task. I am glad that I choose AnQ movers. Their price was very reasonable. A very well planned move went really smooth. Thanks to Neil for his thorough detailing about the entire move. Special thanks to the movers for working so hard over a period of two days. Everything delivered in perfect condition. I highly recommend.

I have a CCJ against this company which they are refusing to pay

This removal company are a bunch of cowboys! I have a CCJ against them for the amount of money i paid for them to move me and all of the damages that they caused during the move that they haven't paid for the last 2 years. I strongly recommend that you avoid like the plague!

Update, please do check on the government website for evidence of the CCJ

I have escalated your non-payment to the High Court, who have issued a writ of control giving you notice that they will act if you do not settle by 9th March 2025 so please do liaise directly with Court Enforcement Services who will have already contacted you on 0343 504 1607 to arrange payment.

When you have settled the CCJ I will be happy to update this review further to confirm

5 stars all round

AnQ were absolutely fantastic for our house move. We moved from London to Worcestershire and it was a very big job, but Hassan and Tony were so professional, friendly and efficient and were invaluable. I am so glad we booked them as we couldn’t have done it without them! We also put a lot of stuff in storage and Hassan’s expertise and experience were crucial in putting everything in so it fits as it was a real squeeze. Neil in the office was also very professional and helpful in arranging the booking and making sure everything was set up for the day. All in all I am extremely glad I booked AnQ and I would recommend them to anyone moving house. 5 stars all round!

Reliable, organized and friendly team

Hassan, Tony, and his team are on top of the game. They came 30 minutes before and only took them an hour-ish to move everything into the two 3.5-ton van. One important thing is they didn't damage anything and were supper careful not to hit the wall etc… If you are looking for someone to help you move, I would recommend them without hesitation.

Great company to work with

Great company to work with! David, Rajan and Tony turned up on time, were super helpful and practical, and nice to have around. They also had packing materials to help with prep. We finished the load-up early and the unload went smoothly too.

Neil at the office was very detailed and helped work out a plan for the move, and was easy to get on the phone. As well as the quote, he was upfront on costs, and their rates are very reasonable.

The information we got in advance of the move was useful and clear and we were well prepared.

Based on my experience, I highly recommend AnQ movers.

Neil and the team were so great given…

Neil and the team were so great given how little notice we gave them on getting us moved. We really underestimated how much stuff we had and they were very accommodating. Neil was great with contact and tackling the surprises that cropped up! Would recommend 10/10

Extremely pleased

Extremely pleased with the end result.

My possessions were transported safely and professionally from London to Scotland overnight.

Throughout the entire process, the communication was eminently professional and clear.

The delivery guys themselves, Tony, David and Rajan were a joy to deal with.
Their hard work made my long distance house move hassle-free.

Definitely recommend. Worth every penny. I would definitely use AnQ Movers again in future and have no hesitation in recommending them to others. Five stars from me.

What a fantastic team

What a fantastic team! We just booked this company for the second time. They were super reliable, always helpful, even when we had to change our destination address last minute they were accommodating and sympathetic! On the day of our move, they arrived exactly on time, and handled our belongings with care the entire time. All mattresses were wrapped to ensure they weren’t damaged, and other furniture wrapped too. They were professional, patient, and kind.
We will definitely book A&Q for every move in the future. Thanks especially to David, Sunny, and Tony for everything today.

I had the worse experience with this company. Unprofessional, scamers and dishonest.
Now they refuse to pay for the damaged furniture and the smashed door caused by their drive... They don't even deserve one star ...stay away from them

Do not use this terrible company

I used AnQ to move mine from London to Stoke and it was stress from the start. They arrived late. Had a man and a child arrive first loading my boxes. Then another guy turned up. One van left at 11am to make its way to Stoke. I left half an hour later to meet him there. The second van left at 3pm. I arrived at the new house by 2:30 and then waited another 5 hours for the two vans to turn up. By now it’s getting late. They rush putting everything in the house and put boxes upstairs that go downstairs and vise versa. They failed to reassemble my furniture that they dissembled, the broke my recliner sofa, they left half my belongings in the garden on the grass, they broke a mirror, and chopped wood on several items of furniture. They failed to reassemble my garden furniture claiming it was too late and they would return. They never did return. They ignored my calls and emails and just fobbed me off when they did answer. Worst removal company ever. Steer well clear of these cowboys.

We had discussed your move in advance and provided a one-hour window for arrival between 8 AM and 9 AM. Our team arrived at 9 AM, and I apologize for any confusion regarding the time. We ensure that all our staff are over 18 years old, and I apologize if one of our team members appeared younger than expected.

Regarding the vans, one left early as per your request to pick up the keys, and you approved this arrangement. Given that it takes approximately 5 hours to drive from London to Stoke, it is expected that a later departure would result in a later arrival. Our goal is to complete each move to the best of our ability, even if it means working late to ensure everything is satisfactory.

The movers were instructed to place boxes as directed, considering the time constraints. Only the garden furniture was left outside as you indicated that you would handle the reassembly yourself. We were in the process of arranging for the reassembly but faced delays due to the distance and scheduling challenges.

We have responded to every call and email we received, and we apologize if there were any issues with our responses. We did our best to accommodate all your needs, but delays were influenced by factors beyond our control, such as estate agent timings for key pickup.

Regarding the reported damage, it was found that some scratches were due to wear and tear on older furniture. We couldn’t find details about the broken mirror, but we are committed to addressing any issues within our control.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Horrendous experience. The men damaged nearly every item of furniture we owned. No apologies at all.
We listed all our inventory but they brought a small van which could have told you instantly wouldn’t be big enough so they had to do two trips. We were hit with a £250 cash demand for this at the end of the job which was down to their error not ours. Trying to claim on insurance for damaged items but no remorse at all from ANQ. Awful service. Avoid like the plague.
