I passed yesterday on my first try after 20 hours of lessons with Jimmy Garland — an absolutely amazing instructor. I'd never driven before and was pretty nervous about learning in my 30s, but Jimmy made the whole experience smooth and surprisingly enjoyable.

He tailored each lesson to suit my pace, constantly offered positive reinforcement, and helped me build confidence behind the wheel from day one. Patient, encouraging, and genuinely invested in passing his students rather than trying to make a profit out of them — couldn’t recommend him more!

Had an instructor called Scott did 28 hours with him and passed first try. They have very simple structures that make driving a piece of cake would recommend to anyone.

Just passed my test today in Rhyl with Scott Parkinson. Honestly 10/10 experience, he never gave up on me and always pushed me to do my best. His support and enthusiasm motivated me to always do my best and for that I thank you. It has been a pleasure to learn with him and I 100% recommend Andrew’s driving. Thank you Scott!!!

Andrew’s attention to detail was impressive—he went above and beyond to explain everything thoroughly, even pointing out what wasn’t worth stressing over. His guidance was clear, reassuring, and genuinely supportive.

Personally, I learned that having a strong start during the test can leave a lasting good impression on the examiner, showcasing your confidence and skill. When the examiner feels assured of your capabilities, they tend to relax, allowing you to drive more freely with fewer tasks to manage. And before you know it—boom!—you hear those magic words: Congratulations!

I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor. Highly recommended for anyone looking to learn with confidence and ease!

I passed my test first time after getting expert guidance from Tony. I was very nervous when I started my lessons but Tony is a fantastic instructor. Tony never missed a lesson and gave me lots of encouragement throughout the whole process. By the time my test came I was fully prepared and despite nerves on the day I was delighted to pass first time. I would 100% recommend Tony and I am very grateful to him for all his help.

I passed my test 1st time today after 32 hours of manual driving lessons with Karl! I was an extremely anxious learner but Karl always made me feel at ease and helped me gain confidence on the roads. Thank you Andrew’s driving school, and a massive thank you to Karl!

I passed my test without any minors with my instructor Shane, I highly recommend as he was extremely patient with me and very understanding. He helped build my confidence massively on the roads and was just a genuine nice person so thanks again.
