I had an amazing experience working with Julia and her team at Andrew Grant Estate Agents. From my initial meeting with Julia, to working with the photographer, then with Catherine, Tonia and Louise, I received nothing but excellent advice, professionalism and efficiency.
I knew straight away I was with the right agents and it was no accident that the sale went through like a dream: my house went on the market on a Friday, first viewing was booked a couple of days later, and I accepted an offer for the full asking price within hours. The whole process from first conversation to completion was just over 11 weeks, and their fees were very reasonable indeed.
Whenever I spoke to anyone at Andrew Grant they were always, polite, very friendly and most helpful. I can't recommend their services too highly. Thank you all.

We have had a really stressful experience with Andrew Grant who have been deceitful and totally unwilling to take any accountability for their poor advice.
The key element to this is that Andrew Grant take a fee from any perspective buyers. They have endless jargon explaining that this fee is to protect you as the client by only entertaining committed buyers, or as it was later translated to us on the phone by one of the office agents 'to kick out time wasters'. (it is not for Andrew Grant to decide who time wasters are and they should focus more on their qualification processes rather than charge an unnecessary fee).
As it happened we eventually had an offer put forward to us after a slow start. In fact in the first 2 weeks there was no enquiries. This was underwhelming and due to little activity we decided to accept the offer. The agent advised us over the phone that if the seller withdraws Andrew Grant will keep the fee. We accepted in any case and agreed to take the property off market.
6 weeks went by and the buyer has not responded to us and we have now lost out on 6 weeks valuable marketing time, and counting. Plus 2 properties we have wanted to offer on but would not be entertained due to not having a proceedable buyer.
Andrew Grant were eager enough to advise us to remove the property off the market and I firmly believe that is because they have an interest in taking the 0.5% fee off the prospective buyer. No other agents would advise this because they do not charge a fee at this stage, it is not standard practice and Andrew Grant do not have your best interest at heart!
They have repeatedly explained that if we wish to withdraw from this process then the fee would be refunded to the buyer, however if this process went on and on and the buyer does not respond, or eventually withdraws, Andrew Grant would keep the fee.
Shame on me for agreeing to take it off the market, but we put trust in Andrew Grant and their advice had a huge influence on our decision process and we we're assured the fee would eliminate this type of situation. It's an immoral fee to make money and is not standard practice across the industry.
I would also add, the reason we saw such little viewing activity at the beginning is because the fee deters potential buyers who are not able to part ways with £1000s ahead of their property purchase. Andrew Grant also do little marketing aside from Rightmove, again, as quoted by the agent on their recorded phone calls 'every one just goes through Rightmove'
Furthermore Andrew Grant have not been willing to apologise or take any accountability and are now holding us to a 16 week marketing period, followed by 28 days notice and a £300 fee to exit.
A costly mistake on our behalf, we have a baby on the way and are desperately looking for a more family friendly environment before the due date which Andrew Grant are aware of.
I would strongly advise anyone looking to sell not to go through Andrew Grant.
We found Andrew Grant to be professional, helpful and most importantly easy to communicate with. They were worth every penny and we don’t say that often about estate agents.
They kept us informed every step of the way. We will be using them again in the future.

What a breath of fresh air it has been having Andrew Grant sell our property!
We followed their strategy of ‘ offers in excess of’ This created so much interest in the property and we feel really helped to achieve the best price possible.
The staff kept us informed at all times and ensured the earliest exchange date was achieved. Thank you to the staff who were professional and always helpful. The best experience I have had with an estate agent, thank you.

[This is a review for the lettings part of Andrew Grant rather than sales.] They were a quick and efficient company to work with, whose staff respond to queries and problems almost immediately. They tend to send important contracts etc via DocuSign emails so that you can sign immediately online and don't have to visit the office to physically sign papers. The people working there have been really helpful. In particular our assigned estate agent, Daniel Pycock, was very easy to get hold of at any time, took all of our problems seriously, treated us as people in a home rather than just tenants in someone else's investment or numbers on a spreadsheet, and went out of his way to try and help us when there were problems with the roof over our top floor flat and a conflict with the building management company and the landlord over who was financially responsible for repairs forced our landlord to finally have to sell the property and no-fault evict us. He genuinely went above and beyond, arranging meetings between everyone involved, negotiating on our behalf, reporting back to us frequently so we knew exactly what was happening, and even dealing with the council regarding their building standards regulations. Staff were very approachable and friendly, Dan in particular and also the office reception team. Their processes seemed fair given legislation and they did not seem to discriminate over sources of income - so long as you can afford to rent a particular home they seem like they would treat you no differently than any salaried prospective tenant even if you are disabled or working freelance. We would very much recommend them, especially if you ask for Mr. Pycock as your agent.

I had a fantastic experience with Andrew Grant. After some previous horror experiences with other agents, they completely changed my opinion. Julia and Tonia were especially helpful—they kept me updated regularly, and whenever I called, they were always available or quick to respond to emails. I would highly recommend them

Andrew Grants team at Worcester provided us with the best professional friendly care selling our home & a separate building plot. Faultless in keeping us & solicitors in the loop & updated at all times. We would never use any other agent.

Worst experience ever! Agent promoted a bidding war between buyers. Property price way below actual value, block viewings booked to ensure that buyers caan see the competition and agent discussed other bids openly, on viewing day. We got drawn in, hook, line and sinker.
2 weeks later they called around all thd bidders for 'final' offers...then 'final final' offers etc. 4 or 5 'final' offers later and we were told we were the top bid. However, we lost out to cash buyers.
Anyway, its no way to do business, if its an auction you want, then go to bloody auction. This was something completely different and didnt feel nice at all.
Have dealt with other agdnts and 'final' offers were exactly that, witn no other correspondance, and no offers disclosed to other buyers.
I'm not suggesting that the method of sale isnt within thr current legislation, only that it isnt what I am experiencing with other agents.
Final price, best offer, call it whatever you like but it shouldn't be disclosed to other bidders and used to up the ante. Thats called an auction! Which is the most transparent way to sell anything.
I have no doubt you get the highest price, very well done to you 👍 I just didnt like the method in which it was done. Classic bidding war tactics!

Disappointing Experience – Avoid This Agent
I had a very frustrating experience with this agency. Initially, I agreed to a sole selling contract with a 16-week period, which was confirmed in an email. However, they failed to explain the full implications of an indefinite sale period in the contract, which became a serious issue down the line.
Two years later, they tried to charge me a fee despite not having sold the property, and only admitted their mistake after some back-and-forth. Their aggressive approach during this time, combined with a total failure to apologise or take responsibility for their errors, made the situation even worse. The lack of transparency, poor communication, and their unwillingness to own up to their mistakes was incredibly disappointing.
Additionally, I’ve heard from several other buyers who struggled with getting their deposits back, which is another red flag.
I strongly advise looking for a more reliable alternative. There are plenty of agencies out there that are more transparent, professional, and trustworthy. This is especially clear when nearly a quarter of all reviews here are negative. I’m sure the £300 withdrawal fee they forced me to pay will end up costing them more in the long run than they could ever imagine.
Great experience all round with Andrew Grants; they have market leading innovative strategies to sell houses even in this difficult market. From our initial meeting and the advice we received (and took) to the team chasing up clients and solicitors alike they were faultless. From marketing to completion was about 8 weeks all in! I couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

Andrew Grant organised the sale of our house and garden in Herefordshire when we recently moved to West Sussex. The house was put on the market in early August 2025 and the sale completed in February 2026.
Throughout these six months, the interpersonal contact between us and the staff at Andrew Grant was always very good - they were polite, friendly, and helpful and responded to texts, emails and phone calls very quickly. The catalogue they produced for the house was magnificent.
The principal problem with the company was that at the outset, they suggested a valuation for the house which turned out to be considerably too high. In the end, viewings were quite slow, and the highest offer was 17.5% lower than the bottom of the range predicted by Andrew Grant's initial assessment. This led us to make a higher offer on the house we bought than we would otherwise have done, had we known the real market value of our home. (However, to be fair, if we had offered a lower price, we would probably have lost the new house we are now in, in a competitive situation, so every cloud has a silver lining).
There were long delays in the sale process for reasons which were beyond Andrew Grant's control. They were helpful and supportive as we coped with the frustrations that resulted.
We had a great experience with Andrew Grant buying our dream property.
Huge shout out to Jo and Louise, who were fab throughout. They were always on it and usually the first to keep us updated, which made everything feel really smooth and stress-free.
Really enjoyed working with them and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend!

We recently completed our purchase through Andrew Grant and overall had a positive experience. As with any property transaction, there were a few issues along the way, but the team remained professional and supportive throughout.
A special mention must go to Tonia, our progressor, who was absolutely brilliant. She worked tirelessly chasing updates, keeping communication flowing between all parties, and making sure we were kept in the loop at all times. Her proactive approach and clear communication made a real difference during the more stressful moments of the process.
We’re very grateful for her hard work and dedication, and it certainly didn’t go unnoticed. Thank you again for helping us get to completion

We have recently completed a purchase on a property marketed by Andrew Grant. The overall experience has been great, from the viewings with Annabel and the weekly updates from Louise who was professional, polite and courteous.
