This is the second time I have used Americans overseas for my tax return. I was going to use someone cheaper as there are a few out there but they don’t give the level of service that I value. I am always able to speak to someone from AO on the phone and they always call back promptly. They are very efficient and the tax organiser is easy to use. Uploading documents takes seconds. Thank you Karen, Marinke and Romy for looking after me so well once again.

The US tax forms are incredibly complex, and Americans Abroad can only provide this service at such a reasonable price as long as you are willing to do some of the work for them, which they couldn't do without you. I was astonished to find that the Americans want more documentation than the Swiss, even though in the end I never have tax to pay. I nearly lost my patience with the computer program, but they are very helpful, and respond immediately to questions.

I live in Spain and I didn't know I had any tax obligations to the US, I couldn't find anyone here to help me with this. So I sent a message to Americans Overseas and they contacted me almost immediately and helped me along the way. Very happy with their job.

Americans Overseas helped me navigate a 5 year backlog of US taxes after I discovered I was an accidental American. I felt very well supported by Marinke and Christie through this incredibly stressful situation. I had many questions and meltdowns and was reassured through it all. I don't know how the pricing compares to other places as I was initially way too stressed to do much research, but I'm extremely happy with the service I received. I have just submitted my 5 years of tax returns and attended a renunciation appointment. If all goes to plan, I will just need to do one more tax return next year, which I will do with the help of Americans Overseas.
