I brought the interlocking pvc tiles for my garage two years ago. I was impressed at the ease of installation and the overall look of the floor.

After parking my cars on the tiles, an impression and dirt mark appeared. it has been impossible to remove.

I wrote to the company twice to ask if others have had this problem and if their is a solution. I received responses that indicated someone will get back to me but this has not occurred. I told the company that I had recommended this flooring to my neighbor and I now regret that I have since he has the same problem.

if you want a flooring that stays clean and makes your garage look better than an epoxy coating, this is not the product to get.

I am disappointed in the lack of customer service and follow through.

I had a very disappointing experience with American Floor Mat Company. I ordered gym flooring with the understanding that it would ship within 5 business days. In reality, it took 32 days to receive my order.
Customer service was equally frustrating. I called multiple times and sent several emails trying to get an update, but responses were either delayed or nonexistent. Meanwhile, my contractor had already scheduled installation based on the promised timeline and had to come back weeks later once the flooring finally arrived—creating unnecessary delays and added inconvenience.
At a minimum, I expect transparency around shipping timelines, but that was not the case here. The company was not truthful about delivery expectations, and the lack of communication only made the situation worse.
I would not recommend using this company based on my experience.

Ordered $1700 worth of mats from American Floor Mats. Was promised that they would ship in 2-6 business days. Not even close! We are on our 14th day waiting with no end in sight. Have contacted their customer support repeatedly, and have only received vague answers like "they are in production" after 2 or 3 emails. We are a small business and we had to purchase mats for safety reasons, and they have offered nothing. No ETA, no refund, barely a response. I wish I would have shopped elsewhere, American Floor Mats is a terrible company.

absolutely awful, tried twice with them. the first time what i ordered isn't what was received and they simply stopped responding to it. The second time I got a different product and there was no accountability, simply stated that I need to ship it and pay restocking fee, stay away!

Worst company by far. Run far away. I never got my items. They won’t refund me back. When I call into customer service they are all rude and not helpful. Run away from this nightmare company.

Unable to duplicate another order as previously ordered.

I ordered a 5x10 cheer mat because you could not beat their price with FREE shipping (most competitors were upwards of $100-$150 additional shipping costs)... My daughter was excited. Then I started reading reviews and was ready to cancel my order. We had tried ordering from a different vendor (overseas) prior to Christmas and I never received the package. Big ordeal. I thought - great here we go again - my wife and daughter are going to kill me. Glad I was wrong. I Ordered on February 5th, and received my mat by the 12th. Perfect condition, correct color, no issues whatsoever. Will order again. Just my experience but I am thrilled with American Floor Mats.

Horrible order a custom floor and can not get details. The order was supposed to be here two weeks ago and still nothing. Horrible customer service with no return call.

I placed an order, simple enough, around $500. Got an email saying that their accounting department canceled my order. The charge already went through so it wasn't an issue of non-payment. I have an email that says they will be refunding the charges. It's been weeks & I have called (no answer by a human being), and emailed them. Nothing!! Terrible company! I finally just disputed the charge on my credit card

I was extremely hesitant to buy anything from American Floor Mats because of the absolutely terrible reviews online. But, they were literally half the price of other places for rubber gym matting, and after seeing some people on Reddit that seemingly got what they ordered, I decided to go ahead and purchase from them, knowing that I had to keep my expectations very low.

Well, it's been a week, and I have my product, and it's great! It arrived within 7 days of when I ordered, and it's exactly what I wanted.

Maybe I just got lucky. But, for anyone out there wondering if they should chance it, I'm just writing this to let you know that sometimes it does work out, apparently.

I would recommend buying 1 foot longer than you actually want, because the pieces I got did come in slightly different lengths.

Received the wrong size mat despite it being a pre-cut size. Had to send picture, proof of order, etc. Told to just deal with it. Terrible customer support.

Yeah, like all the other reviews, shipping and delivery is incomprehensibly incompetent. A month in for a “quick ship” item. Zero customer service!

Trust the reviews on this one, the time stated online to get your product is not accurate and will fluctuate after ordering. The customer support is nonsense, they basically have a suck it up and hope for the best response. I would not recommend using this company when equal and superior product exists elsewhere without the hassle of order fulfillment issues.

I purchased rubber flooring for a home gym. Their site claimed fast shipping, typically within a few days of ordering. It's been three weeks and their website says it's still in production. I reached out and they said it would ship on a specific date (three weeks after ordering), and it never did. Do not spend your money here. Terrible.

Ordered black rubber flooring for a gym. The rubber quality was inconsistent (some more shiny, some more gritty). They did not resolve, and could not promise consistency in their product. Customer support was unhelpful, and kind of passive-aggressive. Would not recommend.

Absolutely Unacceptable Experience — Avoid This Company

My experience with American Floor Mats has been nothing short of unacceptable, and I want to clearly outline everything that happened so others know exactly what to expect.

1. No Physical Location & No Inventory
I learned that this company has no physical location and that all employees work remotely. Nothing is kept in stock. Every product is manufactured only after an order is placed and then drop-shipped from third-party vendors. Because of this, orders take significantly longer than the timelines they promise.

2. First Order Was Completely Wrong
When our first shipment finally arrived, it was entirely incorrect. Instead of immediately correcting their mistake, the company tried to pressure us into accepting a partial discount to keep the wrong product. We had to push back just to get what we originally paid for.

3. Replacement Took Months & Arrived Damaged
The replacement shipment took an additional two months to arrive. When it finally showed up, it was damaged during shipping, and we had no choice but to refuse the delivery.

4. Promised Refund Was Never Issued
We were told we would receive a full refund, but that refund never happened. We had to call multiple times, and every attempt to speak with a manager resulted in excuses — we were repeatedly told they were “in meetings” and no one ever followed up.

5. Forced to Dispute Through Our Credit Card
After getting nowhere with the company, we ultimately had to file a dispute through our credit card company just to get our money back.

Final Verdict: Do Not Do Business With American Floor Mats

Based on everything we went through — incorrect orders, months-long delays, damaged shipments, no accountability, and the runaround on a refund — I strongly recommend avoiding this company completely.

I want to echo the reviews here about the absolutely abysmal customer service; they sent me the wrong product, gave me the bullshit “you have to pay for shipping and a 25 percent restocking fee” for THEIR mistake, said this was a courtesy (wtf?!) and then claimed a clearly wrong order confirmation (for a hog urine splash guard-I am not making this up) that they sent me was part of a banner ad. This despite the fact it had an order number. I hope the MD attorney general’s investigates this terrible company.

Absolutely Misleading!!!
I ordered a mats that stated it would ship in five to ten business days. On the 12th business day, it finally shipped. I decided to give them another chance and ordered a different mat that was advertised as a “quick ship” item—shipping in just days.” After placing the order, I was informed it would still take - business 5-10 days to ship. There’s nothing “quick” about that. Don’t believe the shipping claims — it will take at least three weeks before your order is actually on a truck.
