Rotten mangoes twice — and then accused me of lying
I ordered a large box (1 dozen Alphonso mangoes) from AlphonsoMango.in from the US for my family in India, expecting premium quality.
Out of the 12 mangoes delivered, 9 were completely spoiled—rotten and unusable. I contacted customer care immediately and explained the situation.
They agreed to send a replacement.
The replacement batch was even worse — all 12 mangoes were spoiled. At this point, this is not a one-off issue but a serious failure in quality control.
I took timestamped photos on the same night of delivery for both shipments and shared them via WhatsApp as proof. Despite this clear evidence, I was accused of being dishonest instead of being offered a proper resolution.
To be clear:
• One spoiled delivery is negligence
• Two spoiled deliveries indicate a systemic issue
• Accusing the customer despite evidence is unacceptable
I placed this order from overseas for my family — I have no reason to misrepresent something like this over a dozen mangoes.
This was a waste of money and a very disappointing experience.
Would not recommend.
