Had money taken off me but received nothing. No email or way to contact. Not impressed

Scam website! I was (I thought) ordering a dog bed from another company altogether but once I added payment details I was mysteriously signed up to this awful company’s website with a subscription activated. Many many emails asking for my money to be returned only resulted in unfulfilled promises to “escalate” my case. Eventually they assured me I would receive my money back but only on the clearly stated condition that I follow their link to leave a favourable (4 or 5,star) review on trustpilot. They even told me what words and phrases I must not use (“refund” “cancellation” etc strictly forbidden if I wanted my money back). Outrageous! I took great pleasure in letting them know that I would not have any review I wished to leave dictated by the company I was complaining about! I have no doubt that I’ve now forfeited my refund by leaving an honest and scathing review but I’d rather write it off than fraudulently promote this awful company, Please do yourselves a favour and avoid!!!!!

(Never received the dog bed I’d thought I’d ordered either 😡)

What is making the experience great is that the company, through Zoe, got back to me regarding my concern which was not previously addressed. Zoe from the escalation team reached out to me to apologize and promised to address my concern after I give my rating. I am satisfied with this actin and will be more satisfied when they're able to experience what they promised after this evaluation. I am counting on them and their integrity. Thank you.
