The Alligator chopper is a clever…
The Alligator chopper is a clever labour-saving chopper. The stainless steel makes it so easy to clean and very robust. It is expensive, but I learned the hard way that cheaper, plastic mass- produced, knockoffs break more easily and just don’t cut as cleanly . I have my own Alligator chopper and purchased this one for my mother. I also purchased 2 replacement plastic container attachments. To my surprise and delight, they gave me a free Alligator peeler, which is wonderfully sharp. I have already recommended this product to friends.I use it daily to chop onions, peppers and carrots for soup making.
The delivery was fast enough considering it came from Sweden. Very pleased!!

It is working ok but the top catcher…
It is working ok but the top catcher keeps coming off every time I press to chopp even when I make sure it is secure in place still comes off , I am disappointed because I thought it is made in Sweden should be excellent sadly not .

NOT "of Sweden" at all!
Despite the name of the company, the product is actually manufactured in China. I learned this when I was sent a $33.26 duty bill from FedEx on a $45 product. I would NEVER have ordered had I known the product was made in China. Company was completely unresponsive to my follow-up email regarding this matter.

While our company is based in Sweden and we design and develop our products here, it’s true that manufacturing is done in China although the blades are made in South Korea and the plastic comes from Taiwan. This is the case for a vast number of products today—including many everyday items like smartphones (including iPhones), popular American clothing brands, and even many components used in cars like Tesla.
China is currently the leading hub for global manufacturing due to its efficiency, scale, and quality in production. That said, we always aim to deliver great products at a fair price, and we work closely with our partners to ensure high standards.
Regarding the duty charge, we understand it can be frustrating. Customs fees are unfortunately out of our control and vary by country. We are currently working to make this process clearer on our website to help customers better understand potential charges before ordering.
I’m also really sorry to hear that you didn’t receive a reply to your previous message. That’s not the experience we want anyone to have.
