Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service from the Allies of Skin UK website.

I’ve message them to change my delivery postcode because it was wrong and got an email saying that they will do it and nobody did it.

DHL now tried to deliver my parcel to a wrong address and there’s no way of me being able to contact them or change that postcode.

The customer team from Allies also went completely quiet at me. Just not good enough for a premium skin care brand

Good products, poor shipping methods.

*updated*
I finally received my order after a long time waiting. I am satisfied with the products themselves, not the shipping time, which have negativly impacted my experience.

I have not yet received my order. I spent over 600 hunderd euros a month ago, and the expected delivery time was 6 days. It´s been almost 30 days! The shipping services should be premium, aligned with the brand segment. It´s not okay to wait a month for a hundred-euro order to be delivered. The other concern is the future orders I subscribed to, which I´m considering canceling and replacing with a new brand.

NOT HAPPY AT ALL.

Appalling behaviour and terrible…

Appalling behaviour and terrible product. Firstly the product gave me spots I’ve not had since being a teenager. Secondly signed me up for a repeat subscription with no clear messaging. TOTAL SCAM!

This company puts you on a repeat…

This company puts you on a repeat subscription without you realising. Just had £247.11 taken out of my account a month after my first order. My products last me 3 - -4 months roughly .
No information that I was on a subscription on my receipt. I’m now in the process of trying to get my money returned.
I will never support this company again.
Well done Allies of Skin - you’re doing a great job of pissing off your customers🤦🏼‍♀️

SCAMMERS!!!

SCAMMERS!!!! Never received their parcel, then I provided them with proof from my outdoor camera that there was no one to deliver this parcel at the time they said, and also showed them that the delivery company fraudulously signed in our name for the parcel. ALLIED SKIN then still does not offer a refund, so I have contacted the charge back team of my credit card. THIS IS RIDICULOUS!!!!

It's been great so far!

I've ordered from Allies of Skin four times and have never had an issue. I was surprised to see the low reviews on trust pilot.

Over the past 15 years I have tried it all. The cheap stuff from Target or The Ordinary all the way up to the fanciest La Mer and Chanel Sublimage. My skincare cabinet is brimming with holy grail products and fun things to try. The stuff from Allies of Skin has been top notch and super effective. None of them cause pilling with each other or with my makeup and all of them remain in my daily rotation.

The gel sunscreen is phenomenal, the best gel sunscreen I have ever used. Clear, non greasy, makeup can go right over it. My new holy grail sunscreen.

The tanning sunscreen is a nice watery consistency but the tanning effect is almost non existent. Won't stain fingers! But I won't rebuy this, I prefer the St Tropez face tanner.

I've bought three of the peptide lip balm and have it in every purse, it's fantastic.

Let's see... I bought three serums and two retinols and will rebuy the stronger retinol cream again. Very effective and does not break me out or dry my skin.

The "multi peptides and GF serum" is beautiful and I see a difference in using it daily. My skin feels very hydrated and looks the best it has in years. Probably my favorite Allies product?

The orange bottle vitamin C serum is also amazing, better than my previous holy grail Peter Thomas Roth Potent-C. It took almost no time for my summer sun damage to fade completely. Wish I'd taken a before and after photo! It doesn't smell nice but the very best vitamin C serums don't.

The silk amino cleanser should ONLY be sold in the pump. The tube is terrible and messy. The cleanser is watery, doesn't foam, is extremely gentle and smells nice. I think I love my Elemis and Tata Harper cleansers more though.

Anyway, this Korean skincare line has been awesome and I will be rebuying quite a few products, which is more than I can say for any other brand besides Dr Jart. Very very high success rate for me!

Misleading Subscription

I ordered a product from Allies of Skin last month, completely unaware that I was signing up for an automatic monthly subscription. At no point was it clearly indicated that I was enrolling in a recurring order, and I did not receive any confirmation email about this subscription.

I consider this practice misleading and unacceptable. I already have a full tube of the product and do not need another one. I expect a full refund for this unintended order or immediate cancellation of the subscription.

This experience has left me very disappointed, and I would warn others to be cautious when purchasing from this brand.

I really like the products but I don't like their pricing policy, which looks like a scam to me. (review in French and English)

ENG : No problem with the products, which have been beneficial to my skin (especially the niacinamide booster and the peptide cream)!
Nevertheless, I have to take away 2 stars because this policy of permanent discounts + the fact that we receive products as “gifts” seems to show that the products are not worth their full price (without discounts).
The prices are therefore inflated and give the impression of being ripped off...

Deceptive marketing

Deceptive marketing - gave my email for 15% discount at checkout which never materialised. When I emailed to question I got "new product launches are excluded from discounts / as noted in our promotional terms." Unethical and deceitful marketing.

Actually delivers what it promises

Shipping was fast and I got 2 free products valued at $116 with my order. This is my first purchase and I'm very happy, I purchased the 35% vitamin c and probiotic face mist. I've been using products for almost 3 weeks and see a huge difference in my skin. The brand is expensive but it delivers on its promises. I do recommend only using the vitamin c once a day until you see what your skin can handle because 35% is intense. I prefer use it in my PM routine only. If you want to see real results this brand is for you

Horrible customer service: item never received, no refund

My review refers to PSA, an affiliate of AoS which was until recently hosted under the same website with AoS. I have used PSA products over the past years, specifically their “reset” cleanser, the “silver” moisturiser and the “goals” serum. In terms of products I only had an issue with the “reset” cleanser, my face reacted very poorly to it and I stoped using it after 2-3 tries. I am satisfied with the other products I have been using so far.
Two months ago I placed my order and expected the items (2) to arrive a few days later, as was always my experience with Allies of Skin/PSA. Long story short, I received one of the two items a month later, and the other one is nowhere to be found. I have contacted their support 4 times, and after explaining that I never received my order I receive an answer from them with a tracking link that doesn’t work. From then on they stop replying all together.
I have never encountered such a horrible customer service before; if I hadn’t ordered from this company in the past, I would swear they are a scam. I am utterly disappointed because I did like their products. I am generally rather patient, I get that sometimes there are issues with transport, but at this point I feel I have been scammed 50€, which was the price of the product. I never received the package, I have asked repeatedly where my package is, I have requested a refund, to all of which I have received no answer whatsoever, they have just disappeared.

I always bought eyes cream from this…

I always bought eyes cream from this company. I have enough of it for half a year. But the last order made in November, was a liquid consistency and has already run out. This is not a cheap cream and poor quality lately. I don’t recommend for purchase.

Product sizes too small to see results

Product sizes too small to see results, 7ml of product with results seen in 8 weeks and didn’t even last 3 only using 2 small pumps. Really wanted to see results however the product just didn’t last enough.

Products were not right for me but customer services were good when an issue arose

My experience of the products wasn’t great, I had a terrible reaction which ended up with me on GP prescribed antihistamines.

But the company as a whole, ordering was easy, products arrived earlier than I anticipated as there were some stock issues - but they resolved it quickly. When I contacted them to say I had experienced a bad reaction and sent photos they quickly sent me info on how to return it all to them for a refund.

My only thing I would change would be that they incurred the cost of the postage. Returning the items on top of the cost of medication has cost nearly £30. So it isn’t a lot to ask Allies to send a free returns label in the instance of an allergic reaction (like other companies do).

THERE IS NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT AT ALL!!!

The products are good, however there is absolutely NO CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! So as long as you don’t have any issues, you’re fine, but if you need help YOU ARE OUT OF LUCK, BECAUSE CUSTOMER SERVICE DOES NOT EXIST! I ordered several products November 27, 2024 and only received part of my order. I attempted to reach out for help with no luck, so I’m writing this review. There is no phone number which reaches them, and it’s a monumental task to email them, and when you email Allies of Skin, they don’t even respond with anything other than “ they do not consider themselves at all responsible for lost shipments!” I am now out an additional $235 for a product I NEVER RECEIVED!!!
Even a great product is not worth purchasing if you have no options when there are shipping issues.
I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANOTHER THING FROM ALLIES OF SKIN!!! If ALLIES CANNOT STAND BEHIND THERE BUSINESS THEY ARE A POOR EXCUSE FOR A BUSINESS AND USELESS! How can they not care if customers pay for, but do not receive their products?!?!?!

9/2/2025: Anyone who’s interested might like to know I NEVER RECEIVED ANY COMMUNICATION FROM ALLIES OF SKIN, THEY HAD NO INTEREST IN REFUNDING THE MISSING PRODUCTS AND NO INTEREST IN ANY TYPE OF REFUND. ALIIES OF SKIN TRULY DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS OR THEIR REPUTATION.
