Horrible customer service! Rude, condescending and totally useless. I submitted a standard no-damage form from a big lease company and they keep refusing it, because they can't read. Chat and telephone employees were rude and didn't even want to hear my side, it was either their way or i could take a hike.

All seems fine and dandy until you actually have damage with your car and need the insurance to help you.
I had hit a dog on December 27 which caused significant damage to my car (almost 5000 euro). At first everything seemed to go very swiftly, I could bring my car to the garage -connected to Allianz!- on January 10. The same day I get a call I can pick my car up again OR front the 5000 euros personally, because apparently there is no assurance that the insurer (Allianz) will be paying the garage.
I chose to pick my car back up. 4 weeks go by without a word. I contact Allianz again: which by the way is horrible if you want to try it by phone. The chat works fine but some cases are more easily discussed on the phone.
Things seemed to have been set in motion and I was waiting for the garage to make an appointment.
Until today, I get an e-mail saying the damage amount will be paid to my account (while I have said from the start I want the damage repaired, not get any money). However, from this amount there will be a 500 euro deduction because "your car has been repaired by a garage not connected to Allianz" - which isn't even true as my car has not been fixed at all at this point.
All in all, stay away from this company. They do the opposite of what you ask, when you need their help they are difficult to reach and quite unsupportive (they explain things but in the end it comes down to you having to do all the pushing and pulling with the garage), there is no communication from them at all. I never received an expert report on the damage (I again only got my hands on a taxation report by the garage because I was bold enough to ask the garage for it...). There is no transparency at all.
Do note, I am waiting on a reply to my question about the 500 euro deduction as I have not had my car fixed yet, and have always intended to have it fixed by a connected garage. The experience over the past few weeks however were reason enough to write this review. Ever since January 10, when I had to pick my car up again without repairs, I had a gut feeling this would be a pain of a process and sadly I was right.

I had to wait an hour to be able to chat with a person. When they do, you don't get a notification, and they close the chat if you don't answer in 3 minutes, making the whole idea a bit useless.
