Review of Alison Kingsgate 80 x 60 cm Frames
Introduction

Delivery and Packaging
The frames were received yesterday and arrived exceptionally well packaged. The careful packaging ensured that they were delivered in perfect condition, with no signs of damage or defects.

In terms of quality, these 80 x 60 cm frames are arguably the best I have purchased within this price bracket. Their design and finish look wonderful when displayed on the wall, adding a touch of elegance to any space.

Based on my experience, I highly recommend giving Alison Kingsgate frames a try. I am confident that you will not be disappointed with their quality and appearance.

Bought a frame off Amazon, which turned out to be defective (the hook for hanging the picture snapped off). I went to return the product via Amazon as faulty, but Alison Kingsgate won't accept the return unless I pay £3 return shipping (which for faulty goods doesn't really sit right within the Consumer Rights Act 2015).

Shoddy frame, and pretty despicable return policy.

Caveat emptor.

Although the frame had a crack in it, after messaging customer service I had a response within 30 mins issuing a full refund! Despite the damaged product I would use them again due to Julia and her service.

I have had a horror show with this company, who I used, partially because they are based in Dunfermline, home of the boyhood football club I support.
Anyway, a month before writing this, I ordered some A4 picture frames for a project I have underway. I needed a red one and a brown one to match some old share certificates I wanted to put on my study wall.
First they claimed that their courier mislaid the delivery although the firm were unsure which firm they'd actually used and couldn't provide me with accurate tracking.
Then they said they would despatch replacements 'as a priority'. They didn't arrive, so I chased them. Oh, the brown one is out of stock. Then it was the red one. Then it was both. Then, without reference to me, they refunded me and cancelled the order.
I am furious not only with their total incompetence but also with their cavalier attitude.
They sell extensively on Amazon and, at the time of writing, both the frames I ordered are still showing as being available.
It seems to me that they simply cannot cope with the volume of business they are generating and their systems are unable to cope. Just a bad show all round and I regret giving them a second chance after a previous order was also a bit of a shambles.
Woe is me.

It was my daughters 21st birthday and wanted to give her some framed photographs. I needed seven 9x6 frames and found this company on Amazon. The expected delivery date was 20 October ( which was the day I needed them) but I was meeting my daughter for lunch and wanted to be sure to have them in time. I went direct to Alisonkingsgate.co.uk and they offered an express delivery service for an additional £6.99. To cut a long story short, despite emailing them without any response, it is now the 23rd October and I’ve still not received the frames or any communication from Alison Kingsgate. Seems I could have ordered them on Amazon for cheaper and got them quicker… or better still, ordered from a different company who would’ve delivered next day.

Bought an A3 frame for a club notice.
It arrived as described and in good time and condition thanks. I have now ordered another one for the back door. Very good value considering the price and the free delivery. Many thanks.

Friendly and constructive customer service to help fulfil specific needs for a small project.

My purchase through Alison Kingsgate was for an-hoc sized frame. I had numerous dealings with Stuart from Kingsgate, who was helpful and patient. Eventually I ordered and was quickly delivered the exact frame I had requested. It was well-packed for delivery and undamaged in any way. I am delighted with the result.
So for excellent customer service and a well made product, all at a competitive price, I would heartily recommend Alison Kingsgate Ltd for your framing needs.

easy website to navigate and I have bought ready made frames and recently a custom made frame to exhibit watercolours. Very pleased with the frames which are great value for money and the customer service who replied when I chased delivery. Their despatch was very swift, and followed up on the tracking for me.

I ordered a frame that was lost in transit by the carrier. When I reached out, Alison quickly offered two solutions to correct the issue and resolved it quickly and courteously.

I had the pleasure of dealing with a gentleman named Alex, who went above & beyond to ensure my order was correct & arrived before Christmas. I had some very important artwork that needed a bespoke frame, I got an instant reply back from Alex via their Whatsapp messaging service, as there was something I needed to ask he contacted me by phone. He explained everything clearly to me to help me place my order, however due to it being a made to measure frame this could take upto 2wks to make & plus delivery would have taken it into the New Year. Alex went to discuss this with the production team & arranged for my order to be immeadiately placed & dispatched the following day! Excellent service from all involved at Alison Kinsgate & my frame fits perfectly for my artwork, my son-in-law will be thrilled with his surprise Christmas gift! Thank you so much & Happy Christmas

Bought a frame from Amazon , needed a bespoke frame created , reached out directly to Alison. Was really helpful and turned my request around efficiently and at a reasonable price . My photo looks amazing in her frame and mount . Highly recommend !!

Good product, would recommend

Second A0 frame delivered was substandard quality for money paid. Cheap rubbish, continually falls apart and breaks when moved. Worth £2 not £60 odds. Cheap cheap cheap rubbish.

We ordered frames for 2 tapestries which we wanted to hang on wall. Very helpful staff - frames arrived well packaged - perfect fit!!! Would definitely use this company again.

Good customer service, for a photo mount I asked to be made bespoke. Product professional done, packaged well, and fits my frame perfectly. On the downside it took several attempts to find out track down my package and therefore arrived late.
