Feels like a cheaty and unserious…

Feels like a cheaty and unserious Company!
In our case Alientt helped us pre qualify for EU funding. In their initial offering for support they charge EUR 5,000 (3K in advance, 2K after passing the pre-application) and 11% of the total funding obtained after them helping with the full application.
They got the full 5k after getting a pre-application approved - and immediately after we paid, they informed us that they would not write the full application (this where the work starts) due to the negative feedback from the expert reviewers, allthough the feedback was super positive.

It looks like they are just interested in 5K and than dont want to write the full application for the 11%. Sure they have the right to drop it, but it is unserious to drop if the EU Reviews were super positive.

AlienTT makes it sound 100% certain that a positive pre-application will also lead to a full proposal being written by them, whereas this is unfortunatelly not the case. AlienTT is for us not a solid partner to go with. Very disappointing!

Be aware - scammy

Be aware, this company may try to cheat you. In our case they promised to help us obtain EU funding. In their sales pitch they describe a business model where they charge EUR 5,000 and 11% of the funding obtained - but the 5k is only charged if an application is made, and the 11% only if the application is granted.
However, in our case they charged the 5k after getting a pre-application approved - and immediately after we paid, they then informed us that they would not write the real application due to the negative feedback from the expert reviewers.
So we paid 5k for absolutely nothing.
If you negotiate a contract with them, make sure it is bulletproof and that there is no payment unless a real application is written and applied with.

(Comment added on request from AlientTT: their contract does state that they have the right to reject the writing of the full proposal. We were aware of this fact when signing the agreement. The real problem is that AlienTT in their sales pitch makes it sound 100% certain that a positive pre-application will also lead to a full proposal being written, whereas this is really not the case. Similarly it seems strange that even with very positive feedback from the EU, AlienTT would still choose not to write the full application)
