Alibaba gives the impression of affordable prices… until you ask for shipping. I was quoted €1,000 in shipping for a €250 outdoor garden chair. At that price, I assume the chair is travelling f... See more

Simply cannot trust the suppliers
Just about every price being displayed is incorrect. Companies sdimply post low prices to gain enquiries only to then tell you that the real prices are anything upto 5 times the amount advertised.
When questioned about the incorrect advertising the array of excuses is vast, ranging from exchange rates to covid to them claiming the adverts show a range even though the real prices are well beyod the advertised range.
In fairness the assurance offering is ok but the constant dishonest advertising just eats up time and Alibaba appear to do absolutely nothing to resolve the issue.
Many of the companies misadvertsing are listed as being gold members who have been reviewed and verified which simply shows the frailty of Alibaba's assurance systems.
In addition there are also a number of advertisers who immediately ask you to transfer money by western union and will not do business using the alibaba payment system.........a fairly clear indication of potential fraud which again goesd undealt with.
Alibaba should be a great service for importers, the idea is good and lots of the layout and system is good but the complete lack of supplier management ruins all of this.

STAY AWAY - Rip-off and a Scam
Do not use this site! I ordered some Bluetooth headphones having viewed the video from the seller along with the pictures. I paid a total of $50 when they arrived they were absolute rubbish & bore no resemblance to what was shown in either the pictures or the video the on the site. In fact you can buy on them on local market for £5! I am in the process of trying to get my money back via the site so let’s see what happens. if I am not successful I will of course contact the credit card company and dispute the charge. This is a whole lot of inconvenience and hassle on top of the disappointment of the rubbish that I received. Stay right away!!!!!
Dont use alibaba and aliexpress
ATTENTION 05.02.21 I bought the drone (Order: 8125865997120491) from the seller Shop911294019. According to the seller and the data registered on aliexpress, shipping LZ658035265CN had been leaving on 06.02.21. I started to doubt the veracity of this seller after seeing on the Trackin Number that the drone was leaving China, because the seller said to sell on the aliexpress website sending the order through france. I immediately contacted the seller and confronted him with this, but got no response.
I followed the Trackin Number online until the delivery date 16.02.21. The package was picked up by Mr. Bazenheid directly at the Post Office on the other side of my country. Obviously I contacted the post office that assured me that this Truck Number does not belong to me. (In my country, all packages entering the country are photographed and there was no name on this package)
Again I tried to contact the seller without getting answers, so I decided to open a dispute 17.02.21. Only with the dispute did the dubious seller decide to reply two days later that he verified the shipment and that it was still in transit, but did not communicate the correct Tracking Number. After that he never replied or got in touch.
According to the aliexpress system, the dispute deadline would end on 08.03.21 and aliexpress would decide on the dispute (this has never happened before). Since then every 2 days I contact the Help Center. A real shame for this superficial and inefficient system. Every two days I spoke to different people who said they would check and that a solution would be effective in 48 hours (This has never happened yet).
Since March 14, 2001 I have tried again to contact a Help Center agent, but now for some reason it has become impossible. I cannot overcome the barriers of the low quality system called EVA. Whenever I try, I get a reply that my case will be solved and I will receive a confirmation email in 4 hours (It has been this way for days and until today nothing has happened).
On the same day that I opened the dispute, the seller removed his products from the online sale. Today the dubious seller no longer exists. Aliexpress cannot say that I was not seeing all of this happen with so many messages that I have already left.
I don't know what to do anymore. This system promises protection, promises guaranteed delivery or money back, but it's been a full month since I received what I bought and not even my money back. Everything on this site is an illusion. I lost more than $ 150 with this irresponsibility. What aliexpress is doing is a crime.
I am a diamond customer and I am being treated like this, I do not even want to imagine what a normal customer does not have to submit to, which cheats aliexpress should not do with them. My story will pass on to everyone in all social media so that people see that organized crime from Alibaba / Aliexpress is not fake.
WARNING. 90% of sellers are a scam.

Despite the seller being verified with all the badges and crap on their website, it ended up turning out to be a scam. Help from alibaba? NONE.
