Alibaba gives the impression of affordable prices… until you ask for shipping. I was quoted €1,000 in shipping for a €250 outdoor garden chair. At that price, I assume the chair is travelling f... See more

Stay Away as far as possible
Never buy anything from Alibaba. I ordered a £185 Cricket bat and the verified seller in their website gave me a fake bat. When i log a complaint their customer service team turned me down saying they only deal with if products are not received but not get involved about product quality. Seems like they purposely let people use their website and help people to get scammed.
Hustlers, stay away
Alibaba guarantees delivery, which should give you peace of mind.
The problem is just, that they do not honor their guarantees, but instead hold their hand over their Chinese suppliers, and jointly steal the customers' money.
Chinese morality ??
absolute scam site.
absolute scam site.
I paid for delivery 600 usd.
But then alibaba and supplier ask more more 700 usd to pay in some transit port.
Do not use this site to buy something.
They try to take additional money.
And than you a like a hostage. They write, pay more or you will lose your order.

Alibaba.com is a top option for both…
Alibaba.com is a top option for both wholesale and retail customers because to its enormous product selection, affordable prices, and dependable international shipping.
Trade assurance is not real, poor quality
Inconsistent product sizing and quality, trade assurance is not real. I bought two items. One order had inconsistent product sizing. The second order (from a different supplier) was poor quality. Trade assurance does nothing. To place an order and get it shipped to the US takes 6-8 weeks. Trade assurance is only for 30 days. What a joke.
Alibaba doesn't take their complaints…
Alibaba doesn't take their complaints on lack of safety and continuing dangerous trading measures, very seriously.
They are selling self-assembly do-it-yourself shower/steam/jacuzzi units with all kinds of electrical components, but they refuse to provide the buyer with a wiring diagram or schematic despite many protests.
Someday, some innocent buy will be electrocuted or his house will burn down.
Risky for the buyer
You might able to find good products on Alibaba but buying is quite risky. Buyers are only protected for 30 days (sometimes 60) and if you use a freight forwarder, you won't even have received the products before buyer protection has already expired. And even if it hasn't, Alibaba almost always sides with the seller to protect Chinese export businesses.
In many cases it's completely up to the seller to provide any after-sale service, warranty or refunds. Even if there is a warranty, sellers are not obligated to honor it because the short buyer protection has most likely already expired.
Alibaba is one of the most trusted…
Alibaba is one of the most trusted shops I have ever had. I have already purchased five times with them andthey provide fast service. Thumbs up for me!
Slow shipping worth it
If you can wait for slow shipping it's worth the experience. Alibaba has a very easy set up and treats the consumer well. I feel very secure purchasing on Alibaba from wholesellers. So far quality is what is expected. I had a few issues that were quickly resolved through Alibaba's customer service. They are a great liaison between seller and buyer.
good experience

Service client Alibaba.com, Je demande à la société ALIBABA le remboursement intégral de ce casse noix Nutcracker for Nuts Sheller Crack
Service client Alibaba.com,
Invoice No : FR011032023042400182943
Cordialement,

Alibaba.com customer service,
Invoice No: FR011032023042400182943
Order number: 8166398815346699
Sèvres, France on November 12, 2023
I am asking the ALIBABA company for a full refund of this Nutcracker for Nuts Sheller Crack for its purchase price of 4.28 euros because it broke on October 18, 2023 when I used it to crack an almond! !!
This nutcracker was delivered in May 2023 to my home.
This nutcracker is defective and is still under warranty, which justifies my request for a FULL refund.
And in addition the attached invoice indicates that this Walnut NutCracker is designed to break almonds since it is an Almond Pecan Hazelnut Nut Clip Manual
I am attaching the photo of the broken Walnut NutCracker which proves that it no longer works as well as my purchase invoice.
I am waiting for the refund. Thank you in advance for your reputation.
Sincerely,
Alibaba.com is a fraudulent e-tailer…
Alibaba.com is a fraudulent e-tailer platform for fraudulent sellers and fraudsters and oh, the alibaba.com platform is full aware of this and worse of all fully always supports these fraudulent alibaba.com sellers. They advertise items and when you click order to buy they send you malfunctioning rubbish. I seriously think the platform has defrauded one person too many and has to be haunted and their ill services halted. It's so unethical to lose your hard earned money to a team/bunch of fraudsters thinking you have made a good purchase from a reliable platform. Very sad and so unprofessional.
Alibaba Trade Assurance: A Costly Mistake with No Buyer Protection"
I deeply regret not researching Alibaba Assurance before making a purchase worth approximately £1300. It seems that sellers on Alibaba.com are fully aware that they can simply send you their rubbish, knowing that you won't be able to recover your money. The product I received was completely non-functional, and I promptly provided several videos and pictures on the day of delivery to demonstrate the issue. Unfortunately, Alibaba ruled in favor of the seller (who, unsurprisingly, was Chinese). I strongly advise you to protect your hard-earned money and avoid placing trust in Alibaba.com.
FRAUDULENT….NOTHING BUT THIEVES
FRAUDULENT….NOTHING BUT THIEVES
I wanted an E-Bike and found one and to be honest I should have known cause the price is too good to be true. Once processed; the Seller increased the price in the invoice, I paid it and yet it’s still in China and not been shipped. The Freight Shipper HELEN SHEN is a scamming heaux from HELL. She refuses to issue an invoice so I’m stuck with a bike I paid for and NOT RECEIVED. Just went through their Dispute after a month and they fraudulently ruled in the favour of the Seller so I’m out £150. STAY AWAY AND RUN FAR….FAR AWAY…..you’re gonna get SCAMMED! PERIOD..POINT..BLANK and FULL STOP!!…..DON’T SAY I DIDN’T GIVE YOU A HEADS-UP!
Thousand of doodlers Scammed at Alibaba
All they say is some higher team robots are working on it. They are helping ppl get scammed.
For now let's wait for the update via email as your case was forwarded to our higher team already.

The update regarding on the investigation of your case
14:57
now we all know that suppler has taken away the money
there is no higher team
they are not doing anything
who we are then waiting for
Our higher team
There is no higher team
they are just sleeping all the time
they are not acting on it
now what we do
For this case what we need to do is to wait for our higher team update.
We wait every day but do not get the money back
what to do
again wait then again wait then again wait
Yes since you didn't update the verification that's why we escalated your case since you don't have the details that is needed.
So for this case what we need to do is to wait for the update from our higher team.
I told them for long that its not our fault to that you seller took the money away
and we cant do the verification
but nothing happened after that
looks like you guys are helping the inappropriate use of our funds
The reason it needs a verification is that Alibaba is the one who will send your refund due to your sellers account is insufficient
By wasting our time in these games of verification form and all that
15:02
How many times I repeat to how many ppl that we do not have the documents and we are not doing the verifiation
Why dont yoiu freeze the account and get the money back
why its still active
Your multiple agents have confirmed that no verification is needed because it was a bank transfer and not the card payment
I completely understand but we really need to follow the process for this case.
Scammed by ALIBABA
The name says it all. Alibaba and the 40 th**ves
I made a purchase on Alibaba valued at 700€ and proceeded to check out with PayPal, once payment was made, within 5 minutes I received a phone call from Alibaba informing me that they have no stock and the shipping value in the listing was incorrect, this gentleman requested that I cancel the purchase so that I would retrieve my payment within 24 hours. This is exactly what I did but no refund was issued in that time frame. I opened a case through PayPal and approximately 20 days later I got my refund but to my astonishment the refund was not in total, it was about 30€ short. I contacted Alibaba about this issue and they replied that VAT had to be deducted on this purchase, although they were perfectly aware of this transaction I explained again that this transaction did not go ahead due to lack of stock and the order was cancelled immediately as requested by Alibaba. I questioned again about this VAT deduction, VAT was paid on what as there was no purchase? I requested an invoice with information regarding this transaction and the value of VAT that was paid by me.
this is now 1 month later and still no reply from Alibaba.

ALIBABA HOUSE OF FRAUD
ALIBABA HOUSE OF FRAUD
From the shell, Alibaba looks like a system of great manufacturers and wholesale outlets. It boasts 20,000 suppliers. The website works great. However, Alibaba is the home of the fraud. It starts with a simple false advertisement. Pricing is not correct. The cost doesn't include an average for customization (color, size... if available), nor does it include shipping and the time it takes for these companies to work out the pricing retrieve your order and customize, nor get the product to you. Although they have insurance, the insurance may not go through. If the insurance is excepted, they'll may go through one of many excuses not to offer you full cost.
The negotiation techniques start with false advertising, then, due to the authenticity of brand, the issue moves to breach. If you research these 3rd party entities, you may find other issues... additional costs (spread fees), and the blame placed on your bank and/or PayPal... then of course upon communication with them, no one knows the problem.
Fraud is a major issue when you're trying to save on purchases and or starting your company. Beware of companies like Alibaba. They'll waste more than just your most valuable asset, time!
